These are great Sammy! Definitely do more of these. I especially liked the last part where you talked about your racing plans. The chill school minibike thing sounds like fun. Looking forward to Ventura!
@@sammyhalbert it looks like Sunday's weather supposed to be good but not to sure about Saturday.🤞🙏Great track though I have raced on it a time or two back in the day.👍
Decent, almost didnt post it cause wasn't exactly the quality I wanna go for haha - Appreciate the support on that one, I'll bring another one or two into the living room then haha
@@sammyhalbert I just practiced my first hole shot on my Yamaha FZ-07 now that it has 18,000 miles on it.. I don't like to abuse clutches ect.. I took my Buell Ulysess to the Drag strip .. I was slipping the clutch a lot to avoid flipping. I need to work on holding it wide open and riding the rear brake. My 0 to 60 MPH times are 3 seconds.. 12.77 at 107 MPH ..
Def a demand for flat track related content. At least from me lol. Corey seems that it’s always a chore for him to do a podcast. He paused his Patreon stuff. And Scottie D is really the only other one that I know of.
@@sammyhalbert yeah i guess I don’t really need the race reviews per say, I watch the races, but maybe if something crazy happens, would definitely want your insight on the situation. I’m going into my 3rd season on the flat track surface, my first 2 seasons were solely on a pull-start minibike(Boonie bike), it’s a points class in District 16(Wisco). I guess it was a midlife crises, turned 42 on February. But this year I also got a ‘24 CRF125f to do Maddog class, and also 40+/wherever the bike will fit(just for extra seat time, since my practice time is at the races). I guess personally I’m looking for the tech side of things more, there’s oodles of MX vids out there but not much on the flat track side(or I haven’t found them besides Flat Track Factory). I’m just looking to soak up all the info I can get(plus the talking to local racers) and try things to see what works for me and my program. I am saving up for something vintage, maybe like a TT500 that’s already set up for FT. Love the channel! Good luck in Cali! Go HD!

Thanks! Will do!
Silver Dollar speedway has been the fastest sprint car 1/4 mile on the west coast for a while, high banks and soft clay.
Dude....plus.....next door to Buckees!
Good content man, comprehensive and entertaining with the Sammy innotative style
Haha thank you!
So cool to hear it from Sammy's point of view 👌
Time to slam the XR back to the top !
Heck ya, thank you, thats the plan!
Can't wait for Saturday just hoping the weather cooperates.
Right! Fingers crossed...

Right on Sammy, how about the Dairyland Classic this year?
I gotta try and make it back there someday! This year I'm racing in Canada the day after that event so can't swing it.
Great pod cast buddy..🏁😎✅...
Nothing wrong at all with bikes in the living room..
.😂😂..in fact I (Jay 2).. encourage it!!! 🤪

See you in Ventura...
The Yamaha accelerates much faster because the Reciprocating mass is much lighter. Which is a good thing so long as you have enough traction .
Very true!

@@mikeskidmore6754 That sounds pretty good to me, and fun!
Should I be able to find this in Apple Podcasts? If so, I haven’t been able to.
No, I haven’t added it to Apple yet. Just most the other podcast platforms. I’ll see if I can add it, and I’ll at least add future episodes to it.

Correct, I don't race half-miles anymore.

Glad you appreciate it! Not sure if the race reviews are going to be my thing, but will definitely keep putting Flat Track content out.
