This is was so sick! I hope that I have this one! I was so excited to get this free! Hoping that I'm the one who appeared my request to this notation! Well, if it's bad luck for me. I'll replay this video. And maybe I'll pin out and trying to write in on my paper and play. More power, Gabe!
Currently up to number 5. Spending plenty of time on each building up to speed then trying out different versions/fills around each. Definitely my best practise regime I've found so far, you can literally challenge yourself as much as you want
3:22 the make it groove just sounds out of this world in my funk interpretation to the drum kit. It has a wonderful accent feel on the hi hat pattern creating an obsession of getting you moving to this beat in the funk genre of drumming. I can also add some rudiments like drags or five stroke rolls to the Make It groove, and OMG, this just made it sound even more amazing. Adding rudiments to a groove can definitely enhance the interest of the interpretation of a drummer’s performance if they intend to
What's really cool with videos like this is that may find that you are on a level where you don't always need to still learn the skills to play these beats, you may find (as I did) that you already have the skills, such as limb in dependence, etc. but you didn't have the creativity or inspiration, and videos like this get you out of that creativity block. I was glad to learn from this video how many of the grooves I can actually play without realizing it. My favourites are the "Make It Groove", the "Stop & Go" and "The Shuffle". Great video, thank you very much!
Im a fresh, new, beginner drummer, and your videos have helped me alot! I watch them all the time, and youre teaching me new and awesome stuff, thank you!
That is so cool! I have been drumming off and on for a long time, so I am not a beginner, but I suppose I can be called a beginner intermediate, lol. I am getting another acoustic set tomorrow, so I can start to advance my level firmly into the next realm!
"Ahh, nothing like mastering all the beginner beats and fills! Feels good to be-" *DBO uploads* "Wait, why do I hear 20 boss themes?" no but seriously thank you, gives me more to do. :)
dude your videos are the best, I've learned a lot with them. And now that I realize that I can play this 20 rhythms I feel a lot more confident with my drumming. You're such an amazing drummer. Greetings from Chile🇨🇱!
Awesome video... I make beats with a DAW... But this helps! I'm able to create new beats! Thanks a lot Gabe! You're an inspiration! Hats off to you! 💯🔥
Wow! Thank you so much, Gabe and co.! Looks like I have my work cut out for me. I especially liked the almost linear beat and descending toms, but all were very cool!
All these are awesome, I don't know what to say. It's one thing to be able to learn songs, another to play well live, but being a great all-around drummer is a mark not many are able to reach. Thanks for everything, Gabe...!
I liked #20 (because it sounds like one of my go to beats). I love that once drummers get to certain level, they all sound good in completely different ways! 🤔🥁❤
The shuffle was my favorite, but I loved all of the drum beats! They sounded so amazing each in their own style! I can't wait to try these on my kit! Thanks for the great content! You are such a great drummer!
That sneaky tom beat has me popping off. I hadn’t learned any cool grooves with the Toms before just now and I swapped the snare with the kick at the end
The last beat was definitely my fav!! I think beat 17 sounds the hardest tho. Gotta learn both of them!!🔥 I am absolutely loving the new kit!! I love pearl RFP so much!! My fav drums ever in this world!!🔥🔥🔥
You are awesome for this man I really appreciate this vid! I only can play a few of these now but eager to learn some new beats. Thanks for the sheet music as well!
Honestly need more videos like this on youtube quick and slowed down just enough not overly in depth just heres some grooves in different styles to change up your playing
Was listening to move along earlier by all American rejects trying to figure out what on earth to play for a section of it and I couldn’t get my head round the groove but number 8 would work really nicely with it. Really enjoying this video, it’s making me want to practise at 1:30 in the morning
Funny story I was at work and one of my fellow employees came over with me and told me he discovered the best band in the world just to show me the band was I Prevail😂
Hmm... I don't know that's a good question. I liked that last one where you made the cymbals more prominent. So I guess #20 would be my favorite but I liked all of them... I just love the drums. They stole my heart.
Drum Beats Online Also, 17 and 20 were 100% my favourite! I love the the linear style sounding grooves and the use of the ride bell can be sooo effective in a groove like that. I need to work on my Tom beats too!
The way of presentation and clarity in teaching drums notes is actually fantastic Great fan of you sir ... Hopping to see more cool and diverse videos ...
Which beat was your favorite? Let me know!
