@@jasonleonard9776 I'd be surprised if each individual movement was on its own tape tbh. The TV broadcast ought to have been on a single telecine I'd have thought, but I'm no expert. Tbh the runner(s) of this channel seem often to display little respect for the actual music Gould made and seem more interested in soundbites about how the concert hall is dead to stick on to (frankly dull af imo) trap beats. I get that Gould spoke about mixing & matching movements of things but honestly who has time & gives a crap about listening to historic broadcasts like this in bits? It's not the studio quality one would want for that purpose anyway. Wish they'd upload these all in full and get someone to master them who understands classical production - I'm still fuming that the other copy of "Why Mozart became a bad composer" that was on YT got taken down, & the one on this channel has a) the intro announcements removed which I liked, and b) more importantly the audio is so overcompressed and flubby by comparison (as everything is since the Loudness Wars 😒) it's really shocking.
Glenn has this memorized! Brilliant.
Great performance of a great piece!
his facial expressions are priceless. How he enjoys himself is a big part of why we enjoy him. Enthusiasm will save classical music!
Isn't this a delight? Wow?
Yes, it is.
Such wonderful music.

Where are parts III and IV of this quientet?
Did you see the other parts of this four-part series of videos on this channel?
The third and fourth movements are still missing from the channel two years later. What a disappointment.
@@DonCYHaute The tapes may have been lost by the rascals at the CBC.

@@DonCYHaute Those movements were not recorded. The owners of this channel don’t care at all about quality, only profit is what matters to them.
