best router I've ever used it's true worth every penny, I get the speed I pay for (75mbps up/down) everywhere around the house
I purchased my R8000 a month ago. I'm using Dynamic Qos, lag-free, etc. Just as advertised.

It does have QoS period!!! Make sure you put in the proper internet speeds u have or let the router do it. If you put more then u have it wont work right.
Im able to get 3 Ps4s online at same time witj open NAT with this router and no lag! Last router was a linkys AC 1900 and it laged bad when all games were on at same time. Also we run netflix on 3 smart tvs and 6 cell phones 3 laptops and 2 house computers hell ipad and tablets to and theres no lag. I have 200mb download speed and 25 upload speed. In QoS i put 175 down to be safe and 25 up and no problems at all.

The feature is there, But if you want range. This router suck! the x1900 or those series are best for speed and range. The x1900 beat the asus 3200 in range
I have not experienced lag-free response. I do not have Dynamic QoS Supported on my R8000.
This is a joke. Paid for absolute garbage. Only positive is that the antennas provided gave me good bars on my connection.
If you guys are going to advertise that there will be Dynamic QoS then at least put it in the actual device for god's sake.
Yea I agree! They released a product with old software. I spoke with customer service and they didn't give me an answer to when a software update will come out for this product. They shouldn't say gaming router because it does absolutely nothing for it with out Qos settings. It's good for streaming videos in multiple devices but that's it. The worst $300 I've ever spent!
paul delgado I just did a firmware upgrade and mine has Dynamic QoS now...Just an FYI for anyone who is reading this and is possibly dissuaded by these comments.

Don't buy this product if you're getting it for online gaming! There's no Qos settings at all or any news on a software update. They sold a new product with old software that's not actually giving this product it's full potential .

can you enable QOS to a certain device in your network?
+berj79 you can actually can ..if you still have warrenty ? you can call customer service and they can assist you with the set up . if its for gaming just tell them you want a certain device to take most of the upload and limit the other devices. the upload could help with the ping as well .
