This was an excellent demonstration, if you keep your eye on the blue towel you will notice that it made its way to the back of the tub and then back up the middle so it’s a reverse turnover. It did a great job showing effective wash action.
@@petermaz701 this 5003 model kirk is showing has programming tweaks on top of what they did in 2019 (i called and spoke to speed queen, slightly longer agitation and rinse times)
The Commercial Grade Maytag MVWP575GW does a better job with "turn over", is more quiet with a larger tub. As a bonus its less expensive with a 5 yr in home warranty service backed by Maytag not the selling local appliance store.
I can see this working for school clothes and uniforms, officewear, moderate retail work, and casual wear. For heavy work wear like mechanic uniforms, builders, roofers, and other types of blue collar work, I could see the TC5 being a better fit.
I get the concept of this washer just don't think that it would do a good job in cleaning clothes effectively. Like all the other HE washers you can only do small loads if you want clean laundry and because you have to wash several smaller loads it defeats the energy and water efficiency that is claimed by these HE washers Would think that Speed Queen would have come up with a better product than this. Great post though
Does this machine have a locking lid. I can't tell from vid. I see something in lower right corner of lid. I won't own another machine with that feature. I have a new Maytag but it's absolutely aweful. It doesn't allow you to open the lid and rebalance the load when off center. I have to unplug, plug and wait for lid lock to unlock. Considering buying new sq because i heard they don't have lid lock
We bought a speed queen washer about 6 months ago. You are correct. It does NOT have a locking lid. What a revelation. It's fantastic. Gets the clothes clean. It's very sturdy and we'll built, like the old washing machines I remember. I would never go back to Maytag after having one of these.
@@johnathanboos-smythe4986 And I will never use the Maytag washers at the dorms again. My apartments have Speed Queens and they do the job the way I ask them to do.
I have this 2018 Speed Queen model and I use the auto-fill feature 90% of the time in which gives me the best cleaning with HE DETERGENTS. Use top rated HE DETERGENTS for best cleaning.
Isaac Joby John and even my Hitachi 14kg top load washing machines has a 2nd way of tub clean program, which takes 11 hours to just clean tub, the 1st way takes 3 hours 😂
Pedro Lavadoras however you have to know that the washer dryer does not dry the clothes very well like using seperated tumble dryer or many Japanese front load washer dryer (mostly they are heat pump), because even in your country most washer dryer machines are condenser, and they can easily catch fire if using drying function too many times, unlike many Japanese washer dryer machines which are heat pump and can dry the clothes very well. Even though to be honest that washer dryer can save a lot of space which you don't need to buy a dryer and they are temporarily ok especially during rainy season, I still don't like them very much
I’m not impressed . This would probably be very gentle on clothes, but mine have clay, mud, and horse sweat in them. I’m a little doubtful this would get a full load of that really clean.
It’s definitely not an AC motor for this machine. It sounds nothing like a new Whirlpool belt drive washer (those definitely use AC motors). It is in fact DC tho, not ac. There is no AC motor hum whatsoever.
I don't understand how the machine is going to auto sense the load correctly if you keep putting in more towels after it done started. THis machine is basically using the water inside to clean the clothes and the adjatator just spins the water. Wtf. Im good I stick with my electronic speed queen I have.
I literally ordered my washer after watching. Finally pulled the trigger.
This might be the smoothest and quietest washer every made.
I know it's kinda randomly asking but does anyone know a good website to watch newly released series online?
@Devon Arthur i would suggest FlixZone. You can find it by googling =)
@@trentroger9923 Stay the hell away from that site !
Just got mine today and used a square 1 inch magnet on the back to bypass the lid switch worked great super easy

@Isaac Joby John that washer did not have the updated washing program. I own a 2019 TR7 model with the updated programs.
@@petermaz701 shouldve got the tc5
It agitates instead of swirling

@@singsongcindy8865 Yes mine also had the longer wash times, not sure about the rinse times.
hey kirk how did you keep the lid open on this one?
if you speed up the video to 3x during the shorter strokes of the wash (like at 10:51) you basically have the TC5 wash action.

The tc5 can be great for dirty play clothes.

Was regular liquid TIDE used or is at HE TURBO?

ALL of the machines have locking lids except the Speed Queen commercial.

How many washing machine do you make a week ?
I'd like to see this washer have a water recirculation pump.
Imagine a Maytag (Whirlpool) HE 'eXtRa p0w3r' washing machine takes even more than 2 hours to just clean a small load like this 😂😐🤔
There actually is a washer that has a 3 hour "washing cycle"

Maybe you should get the classic clean tc5
You need the TC5 versions of these machines. The TR models are simply awful
Use tide heavy-duty hygienic clean pods original with downy april fresh liquid softener in the softener dispenser. Get the classic clean.
