My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus' blood and righteousness.
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly lean on Jesus' name.
Refrain
On Christ the solid rock I stand,
All other ground is sinking sand;
All other ground is sinking sand.
When darkness veils His lovely face,
I rest on His unchanging grace.
In every high and stormy gale,
My anchor holds within the veil.
Repeat Refrain
His oath, His covenant, His blood
Support me in the whelming flood.
When all around my soul gives way,
He then is all my hope and stay.
Repeat Refrain
When He shall come with trumpet sound,
O may I then in Him be found!
Dressed in His righteousness alone,
Faultless to stand before the throne!
Repeat Refrain

The opening could have been much better without all that talking noise. Couldn't hear the organ opening because of it. But the singing was great throughout the song and also the music. Great performance overall!

I would love to know what happened to the wonderful pianist that used to play. I really miss hearing her. Did she retire?
Hi Daniel, yes, for the most part she has retired. One of the choir members is a talented pianist and so he's filling in.
Thanks for replying...I just couldn't imagine why she disappeared. She was such a joy to listen to. I hope she'll still be playing somewhere.
Panoplyimaging I'm so sorry that Sharon retired. What a great loss to your congregation!! You are very fortunate to have a pianist who is willing to step in to fill her shoes.
@@janetflier6192 Yes, Janet, I agree. It is fortunate to have a pianist to "fill her shoes".
Sadly Sharon passed away in 2018
Beautiful singing, but the chior should be trained in PRESENTATION.
