Thanks man, I don’t blog but I like that camera set up. I have tried go pro and drift set ups in the past and I found them very,very unreliable. I have a shoei nxr2 so should be a very similar set up. Nice diavel by the way, may be tempted to get one when the V4 comes out next year. I have the V4S Streetfighter Stealth at the moment. I do like laid back vibe of the diavel.

For your information... The Camera will not record longer videos than 30 Minutes. Reaching the time limit, it will stop, and then start a new recording. There will bi 10-15sec gaps between the recordings. I already sent mine back. It makes nice videos but not capable to record gapless is a nogo for me...
Great Video! Does anybody know why the audio quality is so bad compared to a gopro hero 11? I have a insta360 oneRs myself and have the same problem that the mic audio from my helmet always sounds really choppy and unclear, its not because of the mic itself btw when I plug it into my phone it sounds crystal clear. In my opinion it sounds like as if the camera was trying to do some kind of noise reduction to eliminate wind and engine noise you did not ask it to do.
the audio is crisp and clear. But angle of cam set is bit lower facing down which actually should be bit upward. at lower speed the video clarity seems good eogh, although lack in details of brighter areas observed and I gues at higher speeds lose in details are possible drawback...

Could you join the cam mic and the sena mic together so you only need 1 mic in the helmet? And that map behind you lit up looks cool but would look better if New Zealand was as well
Can't do it with the SRL Mesh I'm using as it has no external Mic Pass through but I've seen other Sean devices do it. Also the map has New Zealand? not sure what you mean.

Hi pal, the One RS waterproof up to 5 meters with the shell over it. And 60 meters with the dive case. But with the extended battery pack your right it isnt waterproof, but more water resistant same way a phone would be rated to 1 meter. Which should be fine if im caught out in the rain. Hope that helps!

I've just seen on the Insta360 website that the new ND filter kit has now been released for the OneRS, so I've ordered that but they are expensive! will do an updated video about them get subbed if you want to see it. They will allow me to use lower shutterspeeds get a more cinematic look. Are you going to be using yours for motovlogging?

The problem is that if you have a loud exhaust, and you ride fast, the mic tends to crackle and pop from the loud ambient noise. I have this setup, and it works on a stock bike with relatively quiet exhaust... Once you are on a loud bike and up the pace, between that and the wind noise, the audio just ins't that great... Been experimenting with cameras from GoPro, DJI and Insta, with the Purple Panda, Giant Squid, Road 2 and at least 6 other wired LAV mics, plus a DJI wireless mic setup... Just can't seem to get a decent setup that can accommodate the noise levels I have going on... I might have to buy a low sensitivity LAV mic, but they run anywhere from $300-$800...
@@Dipscovery 2022 Ninja ZX14R with a Puig double bubble screen, and a 2023 Yamaha MT-10 that has the tall Puig Touring screen. I think that my problems stem from the ambient dB levels at higher speed and RPM. Many of the mics I have tried seem to top out at a max of 106-120dB max sound input... And my bikes at higher speed and high RPM exceed that, and cause the clipping...

Good luck on your trip, take plenty of class 10 U3 micro sd cards, it would be easier if you had a laptop to transfer otherwise yes you can transfer to your phone instead. You can charge while riding if you have a cable long enough. 360 cam u can place anywhere just find what shot u like.

Thanks pal, yeah its been rock solid for reliability since day 1 never had any issues with it, i know gopro have reliability issues. I still do like it alot, only thing that would make it better is if the 4K boost lens had a wider FOV, its not as wide as gopro superview but I suppose tou can always use the 360 mod instead.

My gopro 7 died on me and now im currently using the gorpo4 which is more reliable however I'm not satisfied with the quality it provides hence I'm looking towards buying the OneRS 360 but with the 4k lens only since I only want to film POV shots. Great video pal ☺️ I'm actually an upcoming biker myself and have been trying to decide between the hero 11 and One RS, However one of the concerns I had was, that the motorcycle kit for the one RS didn't show the ability to chin mount it or side mount it and you could only mount it to the top of the helmet with the extension stick. But after seeing your video, I now know it is possible to chin or Side mount the one RS. You know how you get about 3hrs and 40 out of the extended battery, how long does the standard one give you if you wanted the cover on for extra waterproofing? Thanks for the support pal. It would depend on what resolution your recording at and frame rate but 4k 30fps with standard battery is around 1hr 40 mins i think.

@bikerguychris31 if you use my link, you will get an additional battery pack and the motorcycle mount kit for free. The mount kit is more designed to mount onto the bike itself like handlebars or frame. The boosted battery base isnt waterproof but its rainproof, so if your caught outside and it happens to rain for 20 mins you will be fine. But you cant take your bike scuba diving with it basically. 👍🏾

Just picked up the same setup as for camera and mic, when i plug in the purple panda into the adapter the camera registers there is an external mic but its not picking up and audio from the mic and the sound meter does not move, was it just plug and play for you? I even ordered another purple panda thinking i may got a faulty item but second one did the same and i have tried every gain setting in the camera.
@@Dipscovery very true It's was just the compatibility I was wondering about really I have no idea about any of this stuff It's lists the 256gb on the recommendations on their website but not the pro version. I didn't know if that mattered..
I have this same issue, can’t figure it out. Using the Insta360 branded adapter and a purple panda mic. Clearly the camera detects the external mic, but it never picks up any volume. I’m at a loss. Technically speaking the Purple mic isn’t supported by Insta360 on the One RS though
@@Dipscovery you actually covered it well when I went back and watched the video. For those wondering, the purple, Mike has three lines on it and you need to use the adapter that has two lines.
Hi, with the extended battery the camera ia rainproof but not waterproof you cannot submerge it in water. But should be fine if caught out in the rain.

Happen to me too, everytime I plug my external mic and make videos the audio quality is so disturbing. Have anyone find the solution?
You can check your audio settings , maybe you turned on wind deduction, but as a one res owner myself , the audio indeed sounds like trash

I am using the same setup but the wind noise is so loud that my voice gets muffled up and you hardly hear anything I am saying.
Do you have a cardo? You can use a inline splitter to pick up your in helmet mic.
Is there a reason why you didn't use the Insta360 helmet mount?
The one i used is designed for my helmet so better fit

If you have a naked bike its worse as you dont have a windscreen, if you have a windscreen its not bad at all.

Hi! Is that the maximum FOV for this camera? I kinda prefer for the whole handle bar to be visible.
Use unless you use the 360 lens, then its unlimited, but angle i had it on not the best, i adjusted in my later videos and can see the handle bar

Very reliable, it has never crashed on me, im using the boosted battery pack which get me about 1hr 45min of footage. @@OrangeBagelMLG

The boosted battery base isnt waterproof but its rainproof, so if your caught outside and it happens to rain for 20 mins you will be fine. But you cant take your bike scuba diving with it basically. 👍🏾

Just picked up the same setup as for camera and mic, when i plug in the purple panda into the adapter the camera registers there is an external mic but its not picking up and audio from the mic and the sound meter does not move, was it just plug and play for you? I even ordered another purple panda thinking i may got a faulty item but second one did the same and i have tried every gain setting in the camera.

I have this same issue, can’t figure it out. Using the Insta360 branded adapter and a purple panda mic. Clearly the camera detects the external mic, but it never picks up any volume. I’m at a loss. Technically speaking the Purple mic isn’t supported by Insta360 on the One RS though

@@Dipscovery you actually covered it well when I went back and watched the video. For those wondering, the purple, Mike has three lines on it and you need to use the adapter that has two lines.

@richard75013U it will last longer if you dont record at 4k. 1080p uses alot less power.
