Ooooo that’s a good one! I know what you’re talking about and while temp alone is not indicative of sandbox, it’s a tell-tale. I’m going to make a video on that! Thank you!
Thank you for watching! I would verify that the VM workstation product key was accepted and the program is activated. I would then check and see if virtualization is enabled in your system BIOS. Are you getting any errors or callouts when launching VMware?
Also at first attempt to launch virtual machine it was going straight to time out then boot management even after pressing keys to load the cd/dvd disc
Righteousness, with a quick Google search I found this: Go to VM > Settings > Options > Advanced. Check ‘Disable Side Channel Mitigations for Hyper-V enabled hosts’ You should leave it enabled if you can BUT give that a try!
I did the changes in cmd and the prompt was solved but the new virtual machine and open side bar in File is still disabled and also having trouble joining active domain directory. If you have time try to setup an active directory domain hacking lab in vmware workstation 17 pro and see whether you'll experience same challenges... Thanks for the feedback. Always tuned to your amazing content.
Oh too cool! Thanks again for watching! Did a quick google search and it looks beautiful over there. If you haven’t already consider subscribing so you don’t miss the next video!
Did you verify if the “virtualization technology” function in your BIOS was enabled? I covered it in my other video, but forgot to mention it in this one.
Thank you for watching! Honestly that’s true AND with rumors of Broadcom moving to subscription; Workstation 17 COULD be the last version you could BUY. I always wanted to make this video and the timing is a little frustrating but what can you do lol I was able to score a license for less than $10USD and you could too via gray markets. High quality as always!
Loving the windows box around your video!
Thank you for watching! I love these “streamer” style videos and plan on making a bunch more!
This is one of the few lab video's I've seen that actually show how to configure the host only option.
Thank you for watching! While it’s not as popular of a use case, I’m sure SOMEONE would need to know how to do it THAT way lol
I have malware that checks for cpu temperature on the VM ! how to spoof it ?

Yeah, when launching there's is a prompt message saying You're running the virtual machine with side channel mitigations enabled...

My Virtual Machine allows running one VM at a time no my computer and list is available, just one on one different
Thank you for watching! Were you using VMware Workstation? VirtualBox? If it’s not weird to ask, what are your computer specs (cpu/ram/hdd)?
@@CyberStudies Amd ryzen 7 5800HS, 16 Gb ram ,512 gb ssd
@@CyberStudies The side channel mitigation is on and there is no option in vm setting to disable it
