I thought google was meant to be smart? I just searched youtube for "sun rotation visualisation" and this earth rotation video was the first result. 🤦♂
I find it difficult to comprehend how the visible unchanging star positions can remain so ordered while spinning in perfect sync with the earths rotation. Think of it, many many light years away, and holding the very same visible position year after year. The speeds of these galactic motions must be truly inconseevabull. Incredible!
Ask him to do an animation showing Canada and Australia in blazing Sunlight at the same ttime. You know the truth. The earth is not going anywhere and its not rotating.
The earth isn't static. You are showing it spinning as if its held . Its just floating in space which itself is moving and the Earth is also moving as a whole aswell as spinning on an axis.
Tip :- The title of this video should have been, earth rotation on it's own axis I thought, This vdo is about how Earth rotates around the sun. That's why U should have mentioned that, In the first place !
Each side of the world has 12 hours of day and 12 hours of night and also it's a animation plus it's going fast. So one day rotation may be inaccurate in this video.
I believe since in this animation we have heavily scaled-down earth size to fit in our screen, we should also scale down day to 3 seconds. Or in other word just imagine this earth in its actual size then 3 seconds becomes 24 hour
And how does that cause sun spots to "appear" to rotate 90 degrees around the face of the sun as the position changes relative to the observer from "sunrise to sunset"? 11 hours or 15 hours makes no difference, how is that possible if the earth was causing the sun's "apparent" change in orientation by constantly rotating?
What? I hear about this for the first time, but if this is true, maybe it happens because the sun itself rotates by it's axis? It is not stationary either, you know
@@rakhatthenut3815 On a globe model the sun barely moves in 24 hours . No one can explain how sun spots go counterclockwise if it is the earth supposedly rotating that causes it and I have asked the top astronomers. The sun circles above earth and it is the traversing movement that caused it.
@@SlickBack-cq4qd Sun spots barely change position over each 24 hour period and that is because the sun makes as slight tilt on it's circular path. @Cheesaloaf no, I know it doesn't exist. But gravity does have 100's of theories. So, you actually believe that people who live in South Australia spend their entire lives upside-down along with their waterfalls falling upside-down. It's ludicrous nonsense. The earth is flat, and what goes up comes down, which solves all of the gravity theories.
@realgamershots7463 There's no curvature anywhere on earth that can be seen or measured, and we are not spinning and flying through space. Does it look and feel like we are spinning? No. Astronomers have been watching the same stars for 1000's of years, and polaris never moves. If earth was spinning, wouldn't the stars and constellations change on a nightly basis? Also, a blind man can see the sun, moon and stars move not earth. Another thing, if the sun is 93,000,000 million miles away, why is there blue behind the sun and moon. Because they are both local and here they in our atmosphere, not in outerspace.
If the earth is rotating counter clockwise. How come this year's solar eclipse went from west to east. Shouldn't it have started from east to west? The sun's sees new york before LA
Because the Moon is orbiting Earth from west to east which is counterclockwise too. And because Moon's orbital velocity is greater than Earth's surface tangential speed, the shadow moves from west to east.
