I've been listening seriously to bluegrass music since the early sixties and this is the finest bluegrass ensemble I have ever had the immense pleasure to watch and enjoy. Vocally, instrumentally - you guys are THE BEST!!!!!!!!

Notice how Everyone in the band smiles at the start of this song, a little Texas swing written by Sierra. I can't help smiling myself as I tap my feet to her singing. especially after the "sad but happy" Easy Come, Easy Go at the start of the album, I "felt a tear on my face" after that one. must come from raising 2 daughters, ("I'm not a child anymore") . looking forward to catching a couple of her performances in the northeast this summer, WOW can't wait, See you Saturday

    Musical perfection.
I like these live performances better than the cd.
All the little extra additions from everyone are great.

This reminds me, I need to go get some printer cartridges.
Seriously, this song is so good I listen to it over and over...really loud... I think the neighbors know it by heart.

Hull is actually from Byrdstown, TN and Jamie Dailey is from down-the-road Gainesboro, TN. But I think you are right, there's bluegrass in the water here.

you can't hear music like this in the southeast either. they quit playing bluegrass years ago. I can't even get bluegrass on my cable t v anymore. it's a crying shame

Hey Clay Hess! Somebody down a few posts is ribbing you about all the 'emotion' you're showing while you play. Pay no mind. Watching you do what you do is more than enough. You are spectacular! Don't need the grins, but, what the hell, why not?

Yes, He is a genius fiddle player! His name is Christian Ward.
Quite frankly, his entire family is pretty dang talented. I'll not take the joy out of it and let you discover them with Google...

Funny, but just heard this for the first time from ABC Country in Australia. How come you can't hear country music on "country" radio in the Northeast of the US?

I'm a fan of Sierra and already own her 'Daybreak' album.
Really love all the performances on this video, but particularly admire the understated but, frankly, genius fiddle-playing - what's his name? Does he have any solo albums?

I think Clay Hess (the lead guitarist on our left) needs to calm down and quit being so emotional! You know, I know you're having a blast and everything, but can't you wait until after the show to show your exuberance? ;- )
