I know this is months old but I was just wondering this too; my only guess is that Snow Queen WANTED to be captured so she preemptively had a spell on herself to protect from the shackles OR the fire shackles are temporary like squid ink? I'm not sure but this show has given us lots of options to spectate on 😅
