Nice review! I played Atelier Firis pretty intensively when it first came out, so I'm looking forward to my Premium box when it comes in sometime next week (But seriously, I just want to be able to hear the music again in-game because It has such a slappin ost).
Damn, totally forgot about Play Asia. Thanks for the comment as I'll be ordering very soon. I've been so focused on Legend of Mana and Saga Frontier Remastered that I didn't even bother to look it up on Play Asia.
Koei is the worst. A lot of the Orochi games are still ~40USD and this one is at 80... Not saying the games aren't worth it, it is just that a lot of their peers aren't as adamant about maximizing their surplus.
@@Nersius I think its cheap for $80. You get three games plus all the extra content and DLC. The Aterlier games are so expensive. ITs about $40-$70 each game physically. Ryza is always going for $60 and the price for that and the second goes between $50 through $70 at best. The season pass to each game is $40 as well. So no matter what each Atelier game is $70 each for the game and its DLC physically through $120. So paying $80 for the trilogy and complete with the DLC is cheap as hell. I mean nintendo does the same with all of their games being at $40 - $60 forever lol. Nintendo's been greedy since the switch came out to this very day, nintendo is the worst.
@@Fate862 What Nintendo can get away with amazes me, really hope they don't have more than a timed exclusivity to NMH3 (if they do, why in the hell did 1 - Travis Strikes Back release on other consoles?).
Atelier... Fetus? Azario, wut? Lol. Excluding that, great video and you made all the vital points in a quick, succinct way. Great job! I personally loved Fet-excuse me, FIRIS the most out of all three, for the addictive open-world gameplay. I’m just really glad these games are available together in one pack on modern platforms. I already splurged day one on the Dusk trilogy, so I’ll give this one a pass until it’s on sale. HIGHLY RECOMMEND to new players though.👍🏽👍🏽
I was thinking of buying this but damn it's expensive.. As someone new to the series is there one of the three you recommend to play first or are they so different that it doesn't matter?
Atelier Lydie and Suelle's OST are awesome. I remember just dropping my controler at the Starlight Plains just to listed to the BGM. I have never done that in any game ever. ua-cam.com/video/hDG8xDXAJ3s/v-deo.html
I think this trilogy has the best character design and music next to Ryza, too bad the games themselves don't seem to stand up to the rest of the series.
Sophie is the most traditional for sure. It’s also the toughest to play in a modern sense since it’s map design is so reminiscent of the PS3 trilogy. It’s good to point out the Sophie released on PS3 in Japan.
0:17 Atelier Fetus DX
Azario back to his old ways, I see LOL
I fucking tried!
@@NoisyPixelNews Hahaha! Love you, man!
This made me spit out my drink, and then made me smile everytime I heard “Atelier Fetus” after that

I can't wait to play the new Atelier Fetus vs the Nazi zombies xd
I hate you -__-
My copy shipped from Playasia 2 days ago so I should have it any day now! Love this series! Great review too!

I love Atelier but god i wish Koei wasn't so greedy with pricing.

Thaaaaaaanks lol
I already know its worth buying but I still wanted to watch your review for this :)
0:18 why am I hearing Atelier Fetus DX? O.O
Cause I fucking suck at names!
A great and compact review!
Haha you can call me if you wanna talk about Atelier for a few hours :P
@@NoisyPixelNews Well whenever the next one comes out I know a podcast you could do just that on.
On point. As someone who has cleared the trilogy, theres really nothing new for me to see here.
Yea I’d say unless you’re planning on importing a physical version on Switch, it’s not something you need to own
If this had a physical version on the ps4 of this game I'd definitely buy this.
I was thinking of buying this but damn it's expensive..
As someone new to the series is there one of the three you recommend to play first or are they so different that it doesn't matter?
I’d play Sophie first or Ryza
does save data transfer?
Fuck. I wish! My Sophie save file on PS4 is a powerhouse. I had to play the games over :(

You know I had those Sophie jams at full blast!
@@NoisyPixelNews If I can only play one game in the mysterious trilogy, would you say Sophie is the best choice?

The hair and outfits are just sooooo cute!
yep, 25 years of games and the only fat guy party member is in Sophie. Long live to Oskar.
This guy is crazy Sophie is the weakest one
You’re the weakest one!
🤣
