You could've made your garden lights by making a pillar with fences, or any design, and then put a glowstone block on the top of it, and add a daylight sensor so it would flick on and off depending on the time. But honestly your idea was just as good, keep up this amazing work!
Sorry about the hate comments. Some people just want to get mad at something. I think the reason the videos aren’t getting recommended is because the algorithm is changing, it does that a lot. Just keep experimenting and something will work. I hope it goes well. Edit: Sorry for getting mad about the other comments, I just find this type of hate annoying. 22:00 Just a note Luke there's a command called /fill that allows you to place huge chunks of one kind of block in one swift command. Really helped me when I was building a giant castle wall for my creative village.

make an iron farm they only take 10-30 mins and you get stacks of iron blocks after only like an hour they are very usefull
