    As a person who just had their first Bjj class I’ve been watching these videos to help educate myself. I don’t think I’ll remember anything when I’m trying not to be strangled lol. But love the videos👍

      Thank you! So what you want to do is work on your defense. Developing a guard and frames. :). Welcome to a great vehicle for self cultivation!

    Great roll as always…. I’m 56, also a big guy, got my black at 55 & appreciate seeing people training almost EXACTLY like me & my fellow older advanced rank training partners do.. focus on the flow & technique.

    11:40 so true, i almost got really injured last class from someone that basically had the kimura setup and i was still trying to resist. I should have just tapped because he made a very sudden jerky movement that hurt and made me tap immediately lol luckily healed after a couple days

    • @Jitsover50
      @Jitsover50  8 днів тому +1

      @@struggle375 yes it really doesn’t take much. I tapped today and my partner questioned me as if they’ve really had it. I informed him I like to tap early but he probably would have had it eventually.

    Thanks for all the great content. Agree about the ribs. Broke mine in March 2024 just by getting squeezed in full guard by a 14 year old. I'm 53 now 4 stripe white belt.

    48 year old new brown belt. 5’6” 175. Would be fun to roll together. I enjoy a technical roll with a controlled pace. I travel a lot and drop in on many gyms in CA, KY, FL, etc. Really enjoy your content!
