Hogwarts Mystery: Choosing a New Wand at Ollivander's (Year 5, Chapter 17 - Broken Bonds)

After Rakepick breaks the main character's wand, she takes him back to Garrick Ollivander's in Diagon Alley to purchase a second wand. Ollivander mentions that in 5 years, the MC has become a very different person since they got their first wand - so having a new wand might just be a mixed blessing. And like the narcissist she is, Rakepick shamelessly leeches off the old man's comment and pontificates like breaking your wand was a stroke of genius she somehow planned all along.
Like back in the very first chapter of the game, your answer to Ollivander's question chooses what type of wand he gives you. But this time, you actually have 3 different looking wands to choose from. I chose the Ebony wand with a Dragon Heartstring core, but you can see the other wands on the table.
It's been too long since I've put these kinds of videos out. To top things off, a dear friend got me to finally try Hogwarts Legacy and the entire game has actually gotten me back into Harry Potter of all things a whopping 17 years later. So much so that when she suggested Hogwarts Mystery, I was actually willing to try it. I don't know if anyone'll watch these, but I'll be uploading more Hogwarts Legacy videos (plus others) soon.
Say whatever you like about it, but Hogwarts Mystery finally pushed me to learn how to screen-record on my phone and now I'm actually excited to record gameplay again for the first time in over a year. And since this is actually now kind of a real UA-cam channel, I guess I can start slowly milking another whole new audience for clicks and views.

I basically went with the same wand I had in Hogwarts Legacy. The way they describe it in terms of lore though, I guess it really fits my playstyle in these games. LOL.
