    Great video. But it seems to skip reinstalling and torquing the axel nut. I was looking for the torque spec on that…

      @@1AAuto I will building a 98 xj got some codes I order after I look them up , I want to do some 0 gage, over the knuckle steering, bigger ball joints ,diff cover, truss, locker ,hooks , I don't think I'm going to run a wench just the hand crank.but if you have all those parts?

    • @1AAuto
      @1AAuto  3 роки тому

      +Marvin PhiRatio Our parts will be exact OEM replacements. If you are looking for more of a "performance" upgrade we would not have the type of parts you are looking for. With the replacements they will bring the vehicle back to OEM riding condition but beefing up the suspension isn't a line of products we offer.

      Right..he handled it by creating a snaping motion or hit the bar with a 10lb sledge if you bend slow the bar can break or worse.the oil filter adapter is the tricky one. What kind of bars were breaking?

    I was watching to find out what size socket I would need for the axle nut. At the beginning he says it a 36mm and and the end he says 38mm. Just wondering which or does it vary from year to year. Thanks for any input. I dont have a use for very many large sockets so was just wanting to buy one.

    Hi. When the hub assembly pops off (at 4:44) -- the axle seams to drop out of alignment; does this self correct when the new hub is put in place? Just checking. T.

    • @1AAuto
      @1AAuto  8 років тому +3

      Yes the bolts that secure the wheel hub bearing assembly to the steering knuckle are 12 point 13MM bolts. Hope this helps you out. If any of our viewers need to make this repair we carry the new wheel hub bearing shown in this video on our website. Here's a link to them. When he puts on the axle nut he says take your 38mm socket, was 36 mm when he took it off, so which is it, 36 or 38mm?

    • @1AAuto
      @1AAuto  5 років тому +3

      +icemule Thanks for watching! It appears he mispoke as this should be a 36mm socket. You still want to be prepared as it could be 38mm on your vehicle depending if it has been replaced before. 1aauto.com

    Ok... now you have me thinking I need to replace the entire hub. My 1990 Cherokee (Loredo 4x4) is clicking when in motion. My intention was to purchase the bearings. But, upon viewing your video it appears the bearings are "Pressed In"? Am I correct?
