Installing a XForce valved exhaust system on my 2017 Audi S3. The installation will be fairly similar if not almost identical to the MK7 & MK7.5 Golf R and GTI.

What rims are these bro? Can you send through the link
Love the exhaust and car man. Since you have an aftermarket downpipe, do you get any drone in the cabin?
Thanks I appreciate it! With my dbv2 3.5" true downpipe (catless) and with the exhaust valves open you can get some drone while cruising on the highway. Having the valves closed is the best way to be driving drone free, and then open up the valves for more sporty driving
I like this exhaust, I have a quest?
It’s Audi s3 same than golf r from exhaust ? Because in Italy make only golf r model
Yes correct, Golf R is the same as the S3. However I think the exhaust system from XForce is different for the golf R in construction
Nice. How long did the entire job take. Removing old exhaust too. Ty
It's actually not too bad. If you have someone to help it should be much faster. It took me about half a day altogether but that's with filming and working on my own. Hope the video helps you if you decide to install your own!
Sounds crazy good
Thanks I'm a fan of it. Have to break in the resonator a bit and I'm sure its going to sound even better 👍
Does this exhaust have valve simulators? To stop the car from throwing a soft code?
Hi man really nice video! Do you think if I only get a xforce catback installed without a downpipe, would achieve a similar sound or does your downpipe make a big difference in sound?
I thinking just starting with a catback and nothing else, other parts might be considered later.
Thanks in advance for your advice 🙂
Thanks! Having a downpipe will definitely affect the sound quite a bit as well. You couldn't always start with the xforce exhaust and get a downpipe anytime afterwards
@@ChampagneS3 sorry mate haha do you mean always could or better not start with only a catback?
@@drose4life39 lol sorry I meant you can start with the cat back as it still sounds pretty good on its own
@@ChampagneS3 alright cool, I'm in Australia so xforce is the only valved catback under aud2500, any other brand would be over $4000. Just wanna make sure xforce is a decent brand to go with. I'm looking for something that gives a bit of pops and crackles while keep it generally subtle not like some loud dickheads on the road Haha
@@drose4life39 it's definitely the most affordable valved exhaust and it is definitely a quality piece. I definitely recommend it
Love the sounds, do you have an aftermarket downpipe as well?
I'm really enjoying it so far. Yes I do have an aftermarket downpipe on. A vavled system like this is definitely the way to go, especially if you want to quiet it down a bit for early morning start up's of if you're in a quiet neighborhood.
Hey, great video. So i'm thinking about getting an exhaust from X-Force for my MK8 GTI. Set-up is identical. Any idea if i could just use the 12v plug in my trunk as opposed to taking panels apart to route it to the front? Don't particularly like the idea of having visible cables and the 12v plug at the front in use at all times. It's just a complete eye sore imo.
Thanks I appreciate the comment. You definitely can use the one in the trunk if you'd like. In my opinion that's probably the area I should have kept mine as well lol
@@ChampagneS3 oh awesome! Then trunk it is! Well, it's never too late to route it back to the trunk. ;)
@@europeanlegend9347 haha definitely! I may need to swap it
Does the adapter come with it. Not sure if it’ll fit my CTS downpipe I have
Yes! The adapter does come with it
How's it holding up? Looking to buy one.
I got a 3inch DP,upgraded turbo. If it matters.
Everything has been grear! It's a proper system really enjoying it!
is your band clamp 2.5inch? I have some trouble connecting the xforce mid-pipe to the OEM downpipe. The clamp is extremely hard to put on due to different diameters.
Yes my band clamp is 2.5" just the same as oem size
Hows the valve system holding up? Still works good?
Yes 100% satisfied no regrets at all
Hey man, just installed mine today to my S3. I really worried about the clearance of the mid pipe, and the driveshaft. Did you also experience a really really slim clearance? Mainly where the downpipe connects to the midpipe?
It seemed that way at first but you have to clock the pipe correctly. That's why you should keep all bolts loose and adjust the angles before you take the tighten them down
@@ChampagneS3 after you adjusted the pipes, how much clearance did you have? Or was it still slim? Additionally, I get the point about adjusting the angles, but, if you do so, then the bit where the backbox connects to the midpipe becomes a little off no?
@@S3Ranj it was a fair bit more once I adjusted and clocked it towards the body of the car. I also ran into that issue and it didn't seem right at first
@@S3Ranj once you clock it properly everything else needs to be slightly adjusted
@Champagne S3 thanks for your help man. Did you hardwire it eventually?
What’s the product number of the exhaust I’m obsessed with the way it sounds
ES-AS313S-VMKSB-CBS is the one that comes with the smart box
ESAS3SVKCS is without the smart box (you still get the remotes to control the exhaust flaps)
Both of these are for the sedan
What is your the brand of your carbon rear diffuser ??
Karbel
Do you have anymore drive by videos and does it drone at all?
Hi at the moment I haven't uploaded any driving videos. But beauty about the exhaust is driving with the valves closed to eliminate drone and then open the valves for more sporty driving. On the highway with my valves open naturally you get a but at cruising, but close the valves to eliminate 90% of it. Keep in mind I have an aftermarket catless downpipe so that may actually introduce a bit of drone into this system when it was not present originally.
@@ChampagneS3 do you have a crackle tune? I’m currently stage 2 with a crackle tune and Im looking for an exhaust that would make my crackles really loud !
@@terryghassali5192 its not really a crackle tune but I got some pops here and there when I let off. There are definitely more louder options out there over the XForce if you're looking for that. An example would be Remus. Those are very very loud imo. Not my cup of tea, but if loud is what you're looking for that might be a good option
@@ChampagneS3 i actually just ordered this cat back. I am currently catless and have the cts turbo downpipe, when i have the valves open I’m sure it’ll be what I’m looking for hahaha. Thanks for the input !
@@terryghassali5192 haha no worries. I think you'll enjoy it. For me personally the Remus was too loud to the point of obnoxious levels of loud. So I'm glad you went against it lol. What tune do you have?
You catless dp ?
Yes I am
I love the S3. It sounds great! Nice car.
Much appreciated!
@@ChampagneS3 You have a fine looking and sounding S3. I'm jealous but in a good way. It will inspire me to get one!
@@paulharrison9632 thank you for the kind words! It's definitely a fun little platform
This one time.. at band clamp
🤣🤣🤣
