No light shows, no fire or fireworks, no dancers, no cell phones in crowd, nothing but the best of rock. Zep ruled the world in 70’s! Great reaction girl! Loved it
When I was a teenager in the mid-70's, me and a few friends slept in sleeping bags in the street in front of Madison Square Garden for a weekend knowing tickets were going on sale Monday morning... oh yeah and that was in February. There were several hundred people doing the same that weekend. It was like a weekend party in the street. But I got my tickets in Row Two of the 2nd Orchestra dead center to the stage (approx. 50 rows back) It was the 1975 tour and Zeppelin was at the top of their game. The memory of that concert is still crystal clear in my head. ~ Led Zep forever!
Saw them at the Garden 3 times… first concert I saw was 71… one was during Song tour and one was 75… I actually bought tickets from a scalper… couldn’t ( although in 71, we just walked up to box office) bring myself to sleep at the Garden… but they were always great shows
I don’t have grandkids yet, but yes I will be cooler then them. My three sons were raised on Zeppelin, & other classic rock. This song was written after they performed I Iceland, it’s about Vikings, they became interested in Nordic history.
I like to see the younger generation appreciating the music that those of us who are older listened to 50+ years ago. We lost Bonzo 44 years ago, like Keith Moon he was an amazing drummer whose life was tragically ended too soon ❤🙏
This song is a like a short, sharp punch to the guts punctuated by Robert’s war cry. Love it, soooo many epic songs of theirs for you to discover and I am here for the journey.
You may think you're getting into a Led Zeppelin vibe, but as you explore further you'll find the vibe of every album is different, often changes within the album and it just gets better every time. Best rock band of all time. Also, everyone's a Viking when the "Immigrant Song" plays.
@@stephen9302 Mike Patton, Axl Rose, Freddy Mercury and many others have larger ranges. Plant has style, swag or "it", not just a he goes up high and down low range. Sure Mercury had swag too, but I find myself jamming to Plant easily 10 times as often. Aged, smooth whiskey vs. high end cognac.
Love this song! And it fit perfectly at the beginning of Thor Ragnarok! Also always cool when Jack Black covers it too lol and again so glad you’re back!
Saw them four separate times in Seattle as a teenager. Festival seating in those days, first come first served. Three of my four concerts were standing in the front row at the base of the stage. Two policemen, at either end of the stage, keeping a four foot walkway. More peaceful time, never a problem, controlled chaos.
I am pretty sure, I don’t have the same age than you? Because of that, I would never be agree to compare with you the Led Zeppelin to your point and about your two others bands you put in similitude of gente. The musicians of those bands was also so good, but good like the 4 guys of LZ? This is here, I can’t! I don’t want to discredit anyone, yours opinions is worth as much as mine, but I would like to say LZ was not a METAL ROCK band, they was a team of 4 musicians who have a sound that was unique in the genre of rock in 1969. At this period, they blew with theirs talents this era with so an impressive originality. The rock would never the same. LZ present some heavy solo guitar as also some strong acoustique guitar too. Like Deep Purple was at this time too and at the best of their shine, was too them an heavy rock band and very good, and may be a bit more metal than LZ. My point, at those times, my best band was Rolling Stone, Doors, Almand Brothers, John Mayall, Stelly Dan. Today is, every day’s, a little JJ Cale music ! So it is that, I respect very much the talents of all those Stars of the Metal Rock Band but, for me it is like with the Classic Music, I would not appreciated that music like I take easy good 👍, the music of Led Zeppelin. Sorry for my English, I speak French, voilà et espérant le tout avec mon respect. Merci, Daniel
Hi Aileen, thats quite a short one, try Whole lotta Love from the MSG 73, and for a Jimmy Page epic Dazed & Confused from the same concert (its only half an hour long)
'Over the hills and so far away' Is Definitely a song you Need to hear. If you ever have a child, enough said for true beautiful lyrics. As always, Peace and strength. ❤
Absolute brilliance from LZ Aileen, that bass line from JPJ is off the scale 👊🏻👊🏻 would love to see you react to something from The Celebration Day concert from 2007, Black Dog, No Quarter, Rock n Roll Kashmir as a few suggestions, brilliant reaction once again, love seeing you dancing to LZ ❤️
Led Zeppelin will always be one of my favorite bands Immigrant Song is very short but still great and this live performance is fantastic with a amazing guitar solo by one of the greatest guitar players of all time and of course the fantastic Robert Plant I wish I could go back in time to see this band in there prime
Welcome back Aileen. It’s great to see you back! I pray you are doing well. Keep moving forward. Always remember how special you are to your family, friends and followers.
Lovin the rock n roll faces you demonstrate through out the song. They must be in our DNA cause when you listen to a song like this, it is hard to not put on one of those faces.
I saw Zeppelin in 1976. My 2nd concert. I was 16. One thing I remember that wowed me was that they had an amazing lazer show accompaniment. That was when lazers were really new and I don't think a lot of us has ever seen lazers, let alone a lazer show!
Hey beautiful --- note ALL Zeppelin is GOOD!!!! All of it............ I read a comment online once that said Plants solo was like an air raid siren!!! Plant not only had the voice, but that hair!!!!! No wonder women swooned!!!!! How many of them had to take a cold shower after this????? I'm talking ice COLD!!! Some ladies comment on how Robert's jeans fit.. What could they be referring to????? As a man I just don't know or understand!!!! Zeppelin was/is tops!!!!!! I adore Plant and Pages acoustic work...... Their twist on traditional music is perfect. Bye for now good-looking!!!!!!!!
An absolute banger of a song,in their time they sold 300million albums worldwide one of my favourite bands of all time, love seeing that big smile on your face, thank you aileen
Great to see you back Aileen, missed you. I think you would get a kick out of their performance of Kashmir, Live at Celebration Day. It is them older, thirty years after first recording the song and with Jason Bonham (son of the late great John Bonham) on the drum kit. It was sort os an official one-off reunion concert of the band.
This is one of those songs that you always wonder how people get through life without hearing it. If there is a Zep song that is gonna be used in a soundtrack, it's usually this one. It was used in School of rock when Jack Black sings along to it in his van. Also used in Shrek the third. And more recently in Thor Ragnarok.
This is the first time I've noticed that you were standing during the video. I love this new setup because watching you dance along adds to the experience.
Robert Planet, what a spectacular voice. John Bonham, the greatest and most complete drummer. John poll Jones, what an amazing bass player. Jimmy Page, hats off to him. The God of the Guitar.
Buying new albums was such an exciting moment back then. You couldn't wait to get home and spin it on the turntable. This is the first song, Side - One, on Zeppelin III ... what a great one to start the album. It's probably their shortest song that I wish was their longest. This one is to describe a Viking invasion upon a "new land" ... maybe you'll mention these lyrics.
I remember getting the DVD set with this for Christmas & playing this damn thing over & over & over & over! The studio version is great, but they really brought the Hammer of the Gods on this one!
This is really Bonzo's song. He just rips that drumset apart, and you can really hear that in the live version. Do you all know he was only 32 years old when he died? He was just a kid! What a tragedy.
Hey, I'm truly sorry you've been going through a rough time. I get it. Things will get better. Surround yourself with the people who care about you and chuck everyone else for now. Led Zeppelin is my all-time favorite band. The songs, the musicianship, the passion about everything they did - is still there. Thank God someone was there to film it and record it! By the way, the way Plant gyrates actually has a musical purpose. He used to arch his back to improve his wind when he was singing. The ladies loved it, so it was a win-win :D
So glad to see you back. Hope you go back down the Ren rabbit hole. So many new and great songs he released while you were gone. Another new one drops next Thurs
Led Zepplin are awesome! I was introduced to them by my dad and definitely influenced my musical journey through my teens and twenties. Even though I went on to listen to heavier music, there's always room on the playlist for Led Zepplin!
It's one of those guitar/drum headlong moments - there are similar freakouts on 'Communication Breakdown', 'Dazed & Confused' and others - where it temporarily feels like you're on a burning locomotive, hurtling towards a cliff-edge, whilst being attacked by helicopter gunships. If you're a teenager, particularly, it's pretty much how you want every moment of the day to be like.
Breathe deeply, Aileen! 😉You can't go wrong with Led Zeppelin. How about "In My Time of Dying" from "Physical Graffiti"? Another Hymn of them. Let the good times roll - greetings from Germany. ✌
Best part of my day ❤ Great reaction and insight Fer more LED , for your head: LEMON SONG, GOOD TIMES; BAD TIMES, COMMUNICATION BREAK DOWN, RAMBLING ON, and HEY HEY; WHAT CAN I DO? You’re incredible, keep it up 👍

Some great Zeppelin that might not get suggested as much Song Remains the Same/Rain Song (2 songs play perfect together) In My Time Of Dieing That's The Way Achilles Last Stand Ten Years Gone
1973..S.F. Kezar stadium. 70,000 people. Myself and 3 best bros each had an ounce of green. To see LZ. Problem : we didn't take anything to drink but had lots of green. First time I traded 5 joints for a Sprite from the guy next to me. It was the best time of my life 😂😂😂
No light shows, no fire or fireworks, no dancers, no cell phones in crowd, nothing but the best of rock. Zep ruled the world in 70’s! Great reaction girl! Loved it
The crowd had there own fire show 😂
Just high as hell
They are developing technology which will make cellphone cameras useless at concerts, I can't wait until it's implemented.

The funny part is everyone in that crowd now gets a senior discount and they were still cooler than their grandkids.
Yes we are! 😂
I resemble that remark!! 🤣

Led Zeppelin is the reason why I started following! What is and what should never be is a badass jam!
I was a little kid when this came out, remember hearing it on AM radio. Was instantly a Zeppelin fan
Misty mountain hop & Dazed and confused need to be added to your list!
quite possibly the greatest rock band of all time, the mighty Zepp 🤘🙂
Absolutely is!
Not "possibly" They are the Greatest
The real GOAT
The greatest band ever assembled
This is how I absolutely want to spend my morning. This is a great song to review [with my morning cup of coffee]. You Rock!!!!!! YEAH!
Great to see you reacting again.....but LOVE your Led Zepplin reactions, and how it takes you over.........
I am so glad I was growing up then. So much great music and concerts all over the place. Wouldn't trade anything for those days.
Welcome back!.I was amazed when I first heard this back in the day(Im 70 this year) still amazed today!.Please remember Ren
Hear you brother 61 here lol, where did it all go
One of led zeppelins best songs they perform
SWEET!!! Awesome song! The music that will NEVER EXIST ever AGAIN 😢
You should react to "Battle of Evermore". See if you catch the references to the LOTR books and movies.
Also, When the Levee Breaks and
No Quarter.
Yes
Love me some Zeppelin. Continue doing these amazing reaction videos.
Heard this song for the first time in 1971 when I was 11. It began my metal journey, and I've never looked back.
Short as it is, it still packs a ton of daring creativity into two powerful minutes. It's all here. Everything that made them so great.
I believe Zeppelin studio is the best….and once you hear everything from them in studio…..then you can truly appreciate them live!! Love it 🙏🏻☮️✌🏼
I couldn't agree with you more. Studio then live.
@@RickF940 💯 agree
Love this song! And it fit perfectly at the beginning of Thor Ragnarok! Also always cool when Jack Black covers it too lol and again so glad you’re back!
Saw them in 1977. No backup band. Arrived over an hour late. But played their asses off for 3+ hours. Ears buzzed for a week.
The Legendary Led Zeppelin ❤️ Thanks for the great morning wake up rock n roll jam!❤💛
The 70's set an extremely high bar where rock is concerned, and Zep was a huge part of raising that standard.

Black Sabbath,Led Zeppelin,Deep Purple the holy triad of rock music🤘
Who's your fourth, if you were crafting your Mt. Rushmore of Metal ? Besides those 3, I would have to pick Iron Maiden.

Black dog from the 73 MSG concert! And every other song from that concert you haven't watched yet! Every song is legendary!
this excellent song has been used in movies-Shrek and Thor Ragnarok. one of my favorite Zep tunes!
Somebody once wrote in a review that Zep was the perfect execution of the basic fundamentals of rock music.
Missed you. Happy you are back. Blessings and positive thoughts for you.

I really wanna know how the drummer was keeping count at 5:31.... among other times 🤯🤯 that was insane!
This has been used in a few movies and tv commercials! Nobody better than Zeppelin! Try Ten Years Gone!
was fortunate enough to see them twice!! 1969 and 1975 I believe.
When the Levee Breaks is my favorite Zeppelin song. You should give that one a listen to as well.
This was filmed in Sydney, Aus (my home town) in (I think) 1972... The arena still exists but it looks drastically different. If you look up KISS live in 1980 it's in the same outdoor arena as this
Welcome back Ms. Senpai. 🎉
Hello darling, lovely to see you again. Life just isn’t the same without you.
Another classic Led Zeppelin song it’s about Vikings, check out the lyrics they’re pretty darn good as usual.

With this song the Vikings conquered England.
Naa mate, they got butchered,🇬🇧👍
I was just in Reykjavik, Iceland in January. This was written when they visited as an honor to the country.
This is Led Zeppelin at about their peak. Within months after this they gravitated downhill.
Dazed and Confused, the studio version... Wow!

I got to see Robert Plant and Jimmy Page in concert back in 1998 great great show its in my top 5 concerts
I remember listening to this on 45 rpm records when in Jr. High ! lol
Some great Zeppelin that might not get suggested as much
Song Remains the Same/Rain Song (2 songs play perfect together)
In My Time Of Dieing
That's The Way
Achilles Last Stand
Ten Years Gone
They hated leaving their wives & kids, but they loved performing live, you can see & feel their passion or music.
You Shook Me, Out On The Tiles, Heartbreaker / Living Loving Maid.
"Since i've been loving you" est une des meilleures chansons de led Zeppelin 🤩
