  • Trailing-arm ball join sleeve for E36/E46:
    www.ebay.co.uk/itm/404310772038
Today I will remove all the rubber mountings on my rear axle. I will have either polyurethane or either ball joints (except the engine mountings :)). The biggest upgrade handling wise, will be the installation of the trailing-arms ball joints, which will drastically reduce the dynamic toe-out/toe-in while cornering. In the video I will install PowerFlex Black series sway bar polyurethane on the rear and on the front + PowerFlex Black series on the both sway bar links. The same comes for the differential, going from rubber mountings to PowerFlex Black series polyurethane.

So if it's best to have as stiff as possible would it be best to essentially just to have a lead bushing or some other soft alloy and forgo the polymers all together...serious question lol.

I was on the track with it, but I had some gearbox issues, so I will need to sort this out, before recording it again

Yes ofc, but you will need to transfer the spacer from your ball joint, or install some 1.5-2.0mm washer

We have started working on it once again. The engine and the gearbox are installed, still waiting the fabricator to finish some bits, so to figure out the wiring and to make the first test drive :)
