4 -5 days back i collected few mangoes ( naturally ripened) and put them to wash in bucket containing water. Some of them float whole others sank. What you have to say on this?
So I have the answer bec some which are floating is not ripend fully those which are floating do they have green marks in them so it's not ripend yet and those with sank are fully orange so they sank and their ripend if you like my advice please reply 🥭🥭🥭🥭🥭🥭🥭 enjoy

You actually can.....just carry a small vessel that is big enough to test a big sized mango and carry water seperately (preferably in a 1 litre bottles x 6 units) I wud rather spend on petrol n take the pains of having to travel with a vessel n water than have cancer causing calcium carbide in my and my family's body

This really works..we have been doing this for months even big mango which is heavier floats
Suppose it is artificially riped what is the proof it is riped through calcium carbide.

It depends on the Density
But this test cannot be done when we go to the market to buy mangoes....its not practical

Actually we can buy one mango and test it - then buy the rest from your vendor if the mango is good - if not, try another vendor

Man I should have thought it through before trying it. Taking 20l bucket filled with water was quite a workout
also tell how to ripe naturally how much days it will took
Just lay all mangoes on a jute bag or sack at some airy places
