This is a lovely video and the result is mouth-wateringly gorgeous! Jamie Oliver has a lot to teach us in the way of prep and cooking techniques to add lots of flavor.
Thanks for the inspiration. I only had riced cauliflower but it worked just fine and I also added some sliced porcini mushrooms and it was everything I dreamed it would be. I had a handful of garlic cheese curds that I threw in there too. So yummy!
I love veggies so after watching a few episodes i purchased the cook book. It wasn't inexpensive but worth every cent and most of the recipes aren't difficult including this one.
Since I went plant based, I make white sauce with either Oatly iKaffe Barista milk (or equal) or Alpro coconut milk («drinking milk» rather than «cooking milk» , full fat coconut milk, even if that can be used too, you don’t need all that fat for bechamel). Instead of butter, I usually use margarine, but canola or olive oil can be used too. I then flavor the sauce a little by adding some vegetable bouillon powder, my favorite is Maggi Soup Bouillon (in small brown glass jars with a yellow lid), but I’m sure other types or even vegeta seasoning will work equally well. When I have had that in the sauce and added pepper, I rarely need to add salt. YUMMY white sauce! I now used challots & added both black pepper and a pinch of chili flakes as well as the vegan cheese and the sauce is sooo good! OMG, now I’m sooo hungry - I’m so happy I have store bought pizza dough in the fridge, as I’m making cauliflower pizza! 🤗😋
Thanks for the most honest comment here. The rest of the comments remind me of the story of the kings new clothes. Everyone is aftraid to be the first to say that Jamie's cooking is really not good, but he is enthusiastic so there is that
@@Astrogator1 What do you not like about the idea? You do realize that this isn't supposed to be michelin star cooking here, do you? This is a compromise between flavour and convenience and waste reduction. So again, what do you not like about the dish? So far you've just critizised his character (he has always been like this - he's an enthousiastic person).
You can just go in the menu, find the square icon that says «CC» and chose texting (Closed Captioning). It is an automatic thing, I think. Gives a bit funny text sometimes, I guess the software misunderstand what is said sometimes, but it’s much better than nothing (and adding subtitles is quite a job)! 🤗
loved the bit at end where he burns his mouth and tries desperately to pretend that its ok🤣🤣🤣 The fact that he cooks big lumps of cauliflower in the sauce for so long and the pizza is a disaster. its just cauliflower cooked on some soggy bread. The base looks dead when he cuts it. dont ever stop being a clown Jamie, people who really know how to cook need humour in their lives and you are it.🤣🤣🤣🤣
Watching this, the white sauce somehow reminded me of a friend’s mother’s pizza. She would often add macaroni to the filling (cooked macaroni under the cheese) and although it is a bit odd, it actually is very good and it stretches the pizza and make it more filling. I think it may be yummy in this too, sort of making it a Mac ‘n Cheese Pizza… OMG, time travels too slow when you’re waiting for yumminess, the bechamel is cooking… PS! The airfryer is great for small pizzas, I think! The crust becomes very crispy and «blistery», which I love! ☺️🤗🍕
I mske this today and it was ok. But i dont make it again. You need much time for the pizzabred wich needs 1 hour to grow and then after do in the pan again 30min. Backing 25 min. So you need for this unspectakular pizza 2 houers. No thanks.
Jamie, you should be ashamed of yourself, extolling Veganism for financial gain and popularity is not good for the food industry. Just realise if we were all Vegan all farm animals would have to be slaughtered as farmers are hard pressed enough and cannot all be visitor farms for the public to pet baby animals. Also a lot of wild life is dependent on farm animal manure, cow pats are homes for invertebrates and insects, an upturned cow pat will feed crows, blackbirds, badgers, hedgehogs plus any other meat eating animals. Starlings and Gulls etc eat the none digestated corn and animal feed found in the animal manure which is spread to fertilise the fields. Most people assume birds are dependent on hedgerow seeds and berries which are mainly autumns and winter food, remember every action has a consequence.

This is one of my favourite pizza made by Jamie
I would never have thought of this looks good.

👍génial! je vais essayer très intéressante cette façon de cuire la pizza j'adore merci pour toute ses belles recettes Jamie
Will have to try it my families favorite is colifour cheese for dinner. Looks delicious. Might add cooked bacon on top of the colifour cheese.
Great addition, thanks!

it wasn't expensive because no one with a brain would by it
This was on sale at the Dollar store and still no one wanted to buy it.
Can’t wait to try this one 😍😍😍
Looks delicious to me. I never can comprehend meanness
maybe you have low iq then
Absolutely delicious love it ❤👍

Hmmm .. so no need to add salt or pepper? What's the temp of the oven
Most likely you'll need a touch of salt in the sauce
And get the oven as hot as it will go and for like an hour beforehand too
@@jasoncora1 ua-cam.com/video/yubx24djj_M/v-deo.html I tried it with a twist
Rajani Singh Hey, cool thanks.
Actually think it looks better your way 👍🏻
Can we use veggie cheddar😊
Wow...YUMMMMM
Stick in on the hob for 3 minutes just to get some heat on that underside, looks a bit underdone to me
I get it now, Jamie is on a mission to make people hate food so they eat less.
What is it that you do not like about this dish?
@@stauffap The idea and the performance by Jamie are just gruesome.

I can't decide if that looks good or not
Haben sie nachgemacht aber mit anderem Belag, hat genau so ausgesehen 👍
Very nice 👍

Would it be possible to put subtitles up pls, as it’s easier to follow the recipe. Tia x

That's not pizza, look at how dense it is, that's indigestible crap right there.

Is there a recipe for this pizza?
www.jamieoliver.com/recipes/bread-recipes/cauliflower-cheese-pizza-pie/
Thank you Lucinda May!
Grams & milliliters, Hugh?
need receipe no sound
more of an egg-less quiche than a pizza but interested to try it whatever one calls it
Just order pizza from uber eats
Try people who believe in Vegan food Bosh,Wil Yeung or Vegan Richa..you wont be disappointed!
I have big pans so I don’t need to have such a doughy product. I’d rather less bulk & crisp bottom & sides.
Good dough recipe but topping is not nice.
Dont use chilly jam on pizza
another example of why Jamie is an example of enthusiasm overriding common sense and taste
Mmm with gluten, so what 4 a cawliflower? I go 2 look 4 the gluten free, thnx anyway
This looks like prison food rejects. Palestinians in Gaza wouldn't eat this, and they're starving.
Cauliflower is so bland it's not even on the bland scale.
#gordonramsay
I made this and it was actually bad
Whattt
Maybe flavoring the dough would help. There is so much of it. It’s like thick bread in his pan, that turns me off.
Why??
@@Didi38 too bland, too stodgy , too much.
Just get domino's pizza
