Well seems like the ground is made of solid stone and it is now slightly more realistic by having everything dark as hell. As going off the scene for the falling of Chara the hole down is gigantic, has pillars along the wall, and their is a roof to the hole. Which means there really shouldn’t be any light coming in from the top of the hole down to the bottom.
