As a professional cornhole player that threw the BG sorcerer and BG wizard all last season, I can confirm there is a difference and benefit of throwing the BG wizard L’s. The wizard L’s are the perfect middle ground between the sorcerer and wizards. It doesn’t jump as much as a regular wizard but it has more playability than a sorcerer - rolls and cuts are easier. There is a huge benefit to throwing the L’s for someone that doesn’t always have the flattest bag but still wants to be an aggressive player and do more than just go hole for hole.
I have both the Wizards and Wizards L's and I love the Wizard L's! Less bounce, much easier to push collect. Great action for rolls and cuts. I love this bag.
These wizard l supposed to feel very light empty and almost airy feeling so to speak? I have regular wizards too not quite sure what to think, I love wizards
I like my Wizard L more than my Wizards. Currently more hole friendly (newer/cleaner) and not as much as a kick. Still have that Wizard feel though. Not all Herringbone's feel like a Wizard.
I agree Mike. I used the Wizard L at a switcholio and felt like they were flat wizards. Question. Is it now legal to throw a set of 4 bags with 2 being wizards and the other 2 wizard L?
This colorway Wizard L and my new "heavy" Fallout X (16.25oz) with orange herringbone (which is probably slowest herringbone) are my two favorite bags right now depending on boards
The Wizard L's are awesome because like you pointed out they are more forgiving when throwing a slide shot and melt better which is huge and i love the normal Wizards but they hop the hole alot and also when you roll over a pair of bags not all the time but pretty often they jump over the bags and the hole kinda like its a bike on a ramp which is frustrating so we throw it a little softer and then they dont roll over the bags so thats where the Wizard L's are awesome they are floppier and people who like to roll can throw it hard without that happening as much if at all. i thinks its the Best version of the Wizard i dont see the downsides you see but i can understand for newer players trying to roll but the forgiveness the bag gives you compared to the normal Wizards and once they do learn to roll properly this is definitely better in the long run overall
These are floppier. They have less fill and they replace some of the beads with flat fill. That gives them less volume and makes them thinner and floppier.
To me the L is perfect in hand, i agree it’s a touch slower, but i prefer that! Because it’s a little looser (floppier) it feels better in hand, which comfort in hand creates more confidence in throw, grip on a bag is a big part of your throw and ability to shot shape imo! It took me a long time to break in regular wizards, to feel good in hand, the feel great out the box
Hey there Mike, awesome review as always, Keep up the great work. By the way, what happened to your BG Witcher review? I cannot seem to find it anymore?
I saw the owner of bg commented it was a sweet spot between a sorcerer and a wizard. I have thrown wizards in the past and for me personally it was a bit too bouncy and quick. I have a pretty hard throw and i love sorcerers thats what i throw now but in quick conditions it can get tough to cut and roll. If i can get a wizard thats a little less bouncy but will still cut well in all conditions i feel like we have a winner lol
Thanks for the review Mike! Currently debating between this and the seven10 the goods for a herringbone bag. Leaning a little more towards the goods based on price and seeing lots of great feedback on it. Appreciate what you do!
@@AdamColeBayBay-x1zOG Wizards are a fuller bag, great at shot shopping awesome bag, only flaw I have is the "bunch up" you get at times when trying a hard 3 bag collect. Wizard L's are not as full as regulars wizards, can still do alot of the same cuts and rolls. Much friendlier around the hole. I personally feel the herringbone Carpet plays a bit faster than regular Wizards and Creatures. Creatures sit in between the fullness of regular Wizards and Wizard L's. Able to stop on a dime under right board conditions, great for a dirty game, push collect works fantastic with the fast side of these bags. Can still cut and roll these bags, tho not as easy to roll as the wizards.
I think this concept is so stupid. If you're going to change anything about the bag, it's no longer the same bag. Just another gimmick especially when they already have the Sorcerers.
They aren't worth $130..no bag is worth $130 in my opinion... BG is just taking advantage of the suckers that have to have every new bag out there. ACL, in my opinion, just made these Light, Reg, Heavy bag weights so the bag makers can make more diff bags, sucker people to buy them and take their cut. Also as you state as for the material and yet more..Yea, another thing I can't stand! I see bag companies have the same bag but one is $100 and the other is $120 because it has a new fancy design on it...Big deal!! its the same bag! Buffalo and Killshots does this a lot! Yet, I can go to Razor, pick the bag style I want with a crap ton of images, or diff color carpet, to choose from for the the same single price!
Ya. I don’t love how they remake a bag and add a higher price. Pretty gross money grab. The pros throw the new bags I’ll bet for kick back from BG for the added hype.
Any thoughts on re-doing this review since this is absolutely NOT a Wizard Light
What about it is not a Wizard light?

Love how straightforward you are on these marketing schemes lol Good vid dude

Yes, they are. The L stands for light. They have less fill in them than the regular Wizards. That's going to make them lighter and looser.
I like my Wizard L more than my Wizards. Currently more hole friendly (newer/cleaner) and not as much as a kick. Still have that Wizard feel though. Not all Herringbone's feel like a Wizard.
Would you say the Wizard L is pretty similar to OC Kratos?
Yes, they are very similar bags.
I agree Mike. I used the Wizard L at a switcholio and felt like they were flat wizards.
Question. Is it now legal to throw a set of 4 bags with 2 being wizards and the other 2 wizard L?
Yes, you can mix and match the regular and light Wizards, but they must have the same design and colors.
Not the case here
Wizard L is its own bag line, not a Wizard Light
You can not mix Wizards and Wizard Ls
This review needs to be corrected

I couldn't agree more. Love the Wizard L's. My new go to bag!
😂😂😂
To me the 2024 wizards were super floppy and fast so curious how different these will be

Good review Mike question is there a weight limit on maximum and minimum?
Yes, the bags have to be between 15.5 and 16.5 ounces.

The wiz-L and Flycornhole nemesis are almost identical (fast side is different material) but the nemesis is on sale today for $76.50
Another great review thank you. Imo the wtf x-rays or the wtf alpha bags are very similar and would love to hear your opinion on them
I have the Wizard and The Creatures. Safe to say I got the best of both worlds when throwing a herringbone Carpet haha.
What’s the main difference?

wish this review would've came out prior to me hitting that latest bg drop
Great review
If you didn’t know they were lighter, would you notice it? I don’t think .5oz makes a difference.
They dont feel lighter but definitely not a full. I like them better. Its a playful Sorcerer.

How do you find these to buy???
Follow BG's social media accounts. They will post when the bags will be available to buy on their website.
@@MikesBags great thanks! Each time I've checked their website, I can't seem to find them. They must go quick when in stock!
