YOU DO NOT KEEP THE SABBATH, nor do the Mormon or who ever boast in Saturday as a day of rest.. Jesus helped others on the sabbath day, he healed, he ate and he taught on the sabbath day... Which man made religious group heals others and helps others on their favorite holy day???? This is a short explanation but I hope it helps us to be Godly ppl and not just another religious group.

My family holds the Sabbath on Saturday. That is when we go to church and we dedicate the day to rest, family and above all the Lord. I'm with Paul in how I judge others who worship every day. We too, worship and love Jesus who conquered death and sin, blessed be His name, everyday. I'm very much in the camp of "to each his own" as long as the Lord Jesus is center. Bless you and your messages. May God almighty guide your words among his people.
God bless you too. I hope people stop being concerned about what particular day to worship and condemning others because it has nothing to do with salvation. In fact, you really began keeping the sabbath when you started living in Jesus Christ. God bless you again.
Thank you my dear brother Sam that was awesome you've explained it like no one ever has I know I'll understand And I do understand praise be to God Almighty In the name of Jesus I pray for special blessings for you Sam and for all those with you May God be with you amen
As an Adventist, this was beautifully stated, Thank you! Years ago, my non-denominational friend really helped me open my eyes to what is truly important for salvation, which is NOT of my own works but the Mercy and Grace of Jesus Christ and the work that he completed. I still attend on Sat. But mainly because I'm comfortable among the congregation. I really think more and more Adventist are becoming less legalistic and more dependent on Christ and Christ alone.

As a Catholic I will say this, THE CHURCH CELEBRATES WORSHIP TO CHRIST EVERYDAY AT ALMOST EVERY HOUR! Now, as Catholics we are only obliged to go on Saturday afternoon or all of Sunday. So that makes us also worship Christ on the Sabbath!! And actually if you sum up the number of Catholics that go to Mass on Saturday afternoon around the world, THERE ARE WAY MORE WORSHIPPERS THEN THE WHOLE BODY OF 7th day Adventists!!!
Amen brother but that does not nullify obeying the commandments written by the finger of God. Keeping the sabbath evening to evening from sundown the sixth day of the week to sundown seventh day of the week .
Catholics (just like Adventist) put too much emphasis on traditions, rules and laws of men. Although Adventist are much more knowledgeable of the Bible than Catholics. Catholics also put too much emphasis on the Quantity of worshippers (as you just stated) instead of the quality of worship. I've yet to meet a single Catholic who can answer this one set of similar questions. Do I NEED Marry, a rosary, the saints, the sacraments, the traditions and the laws. Do I need to attend Church multiple times a week, do I need to repent to a priest, OR; Is having a wonderful relationship with Jesus enough? Is John 3:16 enough? Is repenting my sins ONLY to God in Jesus name, enough? Obviously I don't expect a response.
As a Catholic you also know his answer is malarkey. The Catholic Church believes it transferred the sabbath to Sunday and that is the day to refrain from work. Read your catechism. This spiritual rest in Jesus? What does that even mean? That sounds like modern Christianity jumbo.

So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, Until the nation avenged themselves of their enemies. Is it not written in the book of Jashar? And the sun stopped in the middle of the sky and did not hasten to go down for about a whole day. {That's 23 hours 20 minutes} 2Ki 20:9-11 Isaiah said, "This shall be the sign to you from the LORD, that the LORD will do the thing that He has spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten steps or go back ten steps?" So Hezekiah answered, "It is easy for the shadow to decline ten steps; no, but let the shadow turn backward ten steps." Isaiah the prophet cried to the LORD, and He brought the shadow on the stairway back ten steps by which it had gone down on the stairway of Ahaz. {That's 40 minutes, so add this to the prior, you get 24 hours or 1 day, like as if God moved the sabbath from Saturday to Sunday. Anyway, as the Lord Jesus, the Lord of the Sabbath said, "Sabbath was made for man, not man for the sabbath..."} For the physical sabbath, it is required that one day is allotted for rest instead of working full seven days. However, the 'spiritual sabbath' in the book of Hebrews, the state of spiritual maturity or perfection, hence in parallel with the creation, after God prepared everything then on the sixth day created man in his image, so a spiritual mature (perfect) reflects that image, then no further preparation/work is needed but only to watch that image in full motion with every resources and circumstances, it's like finishing a project, like car, then you sit back and watch it in action. Committing sin that leads to death breaks that spiritual sabbath, as is written also in the book of Hebrews: Heb 6:4-6 "For in the case of those who have once been enlightened and have tasted of the heavenly gift and have been made partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, and then have fallen away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance, since they again crucify to themselves the Son of God and put Him to open shame. Sam, how many times does a holy God need to say something? We assert that Jesus is Holy, right? He is perfect and all that, yes? So why does a holy God seem to repeat Himself? Certainly not for His sake. He does it for a knucklehead like me. He gives me example after example of why His way is a much better option than mine. But because I am not holy, my ideas or even my promises will fall short. Because our Lord is Holy, He can say something once and it is everlasting. He knows the beginning from the end so it's no big deal for Him to say a thing that lasts forever. His commandments are as relevant today as they were when they were given to Moses. When Jesus was buried, his followers kept the seventh day sabbath. Was it not His custom to do so? Surely Jesus would have mentioned such a change, particularly among His people? I attend an SDA church and I can tell you I agree with what Paul said about a man not esteeming one day for another. Nothing wrong here but I do not interpret what Paul is saying as the sabbath changed. You posed a question asking which sabbath we should keep, Israel's or God's. If Israel sabbath-keeping modeled from God's, are they not the same? The person should not have accepted the premise of your question because they are the same: God gave it, the israelites followed it (or at least to the best of their ability). Here's the bottom line, will someone lose their salvation over this? This should be the focus. I get that you are not saying that the sabbath was changed. But it does seem like you are saying that Paul is making the case that is has been, which I do not think is true.
@@denisewenke8323 the tabernacle on earth was given to the people to let them know the plan of salvation, as noted in Psalms 77:13. In some sense, I worship everyday also but I treat the biblical sabbath differently than the other six days.
@@nicolesdad and I have no objection to anyone observing the rest that was modeled after God's. To answer your original question, a model is patterned after the original, but they are not the same thing. The Sabbath of Israel was also a representation of a spiritual rest.
@@denisewenke8323 I'm not sure why this is even a debate among those who profess to be followers of Christ. Have we now identified further division among Christians, which day to observe the Sabbath? Are we not making mountains out of molehills? There should be no confusion about the sabbath day. Paul said some good stuff about not esteeming one day for another. He realized that the finer point was worship to Jesus. New believers will eventually come to truth. If it is a person's desire to worship on a Tuesday, go for it, but let's not call that day the Lord's Sabbath. His Sabbath has not changed. John 5:16-18 16 So, because Jesus was doing these things on the Sabbath, the Jewish leaders began to persecute him. 17 In his defense, Jesus said to them, “My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I too am working.” 18 For this reason they tried all the more to kill him; not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God.
Don’t know where your comment went but I watched the video. Sam although very knowledgeable simply misinterprets Paul out of context. The Jews had 7 different Sabbaths under the Mosaic law. When gentiles and the others were coming to Christ the Jews were trying to keep and get others to keep the mosaic laws and mosaic sabbaths. We are not under the law, but under grace. But we are still to abide by God’s commandments through love. Plus it makes no sense because if you read Paul, He kept the Sabbath too. And he wouldn’t go against God’s commandments. It was man/pagan Rome that wanted to do away with God’s Sabbath day and replace it with their own.
And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day. But Jesus answered them, “My Father has been working until now, and I have been working.” - John 15:16-17
So, under the law the Sabbath is observed on Saturday but in Christ Jesus we enter into God's rest the day we receive Jesus as Lord so that every day is Sabbath for us Christians?

It's so painful seeing how some people who call themselves believers in the comments are behaving like unbelievers. They keep coming with the argument that Sam said "sabbath was changed" when Sam literally said the opposite in his first argument. It is clear that they do the same with the scripture: ignoring every other scripture that breaks their opinions and pushing the works based theology of salvation through sabbath. Yes! You did not say it explicitly that salvation is through sabbath, but if you have to say people are sinning by not keeping sabbath, then it logically follows that their salvation is threatened. Please listen to the video at least. Consider going to the scripture that he states. Even though I agree with Sam, I still made sure to go to those scriptures to check the context so I am not just following someone's authority. Stop coming with the same arguments that are literally demolished by the time we are halfway through the video because people won't take you intellectually serious. If you end up disagreeing, it's fine. Don't be triggered. Leave us alone to follow what we see as scripturally relevant because you can't force us to do otherwise. Stop bothering let's agree to disagree.
So, are You working brother Sam?? Entering YHVH Sabath is when Holy Spirit enters into YOU. Then You are one with El Shaddai, as it is written in John 17th chapter. Pray brother for Holy Spirit, to enter into His rest... All the REST is up to Yahhoshua. With brotherly love. Shallom...
I keep the sabbath day because it's good for the soul to not think about money, work and any kind of stress. I love to keep the sabbath, and the reason why I keep the Saturday, it's because sabbath starts with sa, every language always starts with sa, and there is a reason why they changed the days from Sunday to be the first day in to Monday to be the first. I can't not keep the sabbath day, because God kept it from the beginning and he did until his last day. He died on Friday, died (sleep, rested) on Saturday (sabbath) and rose on Sunday! Our God is so good! That he wanted us to rest for one day and rest in God. I'm not going to work and do things that is stress full for my mind on the sabbath day and I'm for God. I want to read the Bible as a child not as this. God is good! Jesus is king. And I freaking love this brother and his inspiration of the Holy Spirit! ✝️🫶
I really love Sam's work, but this is not what the bible preaches. I am a non-denominational Sabbath keeping Christian. GOD IS THE SAME YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND TOMORROW I believe in the Triune God, and the bible clearly shows evidence, and what is more clear is the Sabbath: In creation, God rested In death, Jesus rested and observed the Sabbath In the early church, they observed the Sabbath. After the persecution of the Christians (the early church -who grew in numbers more when persecuted), Emperor Constantine changed the Sabbath of the Holy day to his holy day the Sunday March 21, 321 AD. Let's keep the same energy by what the bible says and not our own interpretation. Stay blessed 🙏🏽💕
it does not say you enter into his rest by believing, it says there is a rest for the people of god, these are already believers, therefore there is a rest for the people of god, that rest is the baptism of the holy ghost, when you are baptized into the spirit of god, you are entered into his rest and you cease from your own works because you have entered into his rest, which is the spirit, just believing does not fill you with the spirit of god, obedience to his word brings the spirit, then you rest in him, in his spirit in the inner man, you work the word of faith, which is not your own works but his works set forth for you to do, and if you walk in them then the spirit will fill you as jesus baptizes you with that spirit, no one knows when the wind will blow upon them, just as no one knows when the spirit blows upon you, you work the works of faith and as you go the spirit just comes and blows into your heart giving birth to a new nature within you, all believers should be filled, but they are not, just like the ones paul ran into and ask if they had been filled with the spirit, and they never even heard of it, so he laid hands on them and they were filled, it comes into you in many ways, laying on of hands, praying, fasting, preaching, teaching, and so forth, but you cant just sit down and wait for it to happen, you must get up and shake your faith by working the works of faith, not your works, but his works which bring the gifts and calling of god to all believers who ask, seek, knock, search, and work their faith, and when you receive the anointing of the spirit you will be able to avoid false teachers like this sam is, he is trying to proselyte you to the cathoilc cult.

It all depends on how you interpret the script. Shabbat is taken from Shabbtai, Saturn. Shabbtai (saturn) is the old God of time. He 'eats' his children. Shabbat = Death. God, aka Elohim, aka King, has returend his breath. Death is eternal. Apart from reading how an Elohim (El hayam = Lord of the sea, the King, or Emperor) created the world in Genesis 1, we could also read it as the 7 stages of Man. Shabbat is time to die and the King has transferred the title to his son, that was created in his image and likeness on the 6th stage. Because these books were written for two different groups of people, they were written in two languages. One language for the commoners - low language = Bad (evil) The other language for the Royals - high language = Good Commoners live in the field. With the animals. Commoners are in the tail. A tail has no eyes. Acknowledge, and be honest about your position in this world. Commoners speak street language. Street language does not count in court, there they speak legalese. Torah is a book of Law. It tells you; this how we do things here. The word Torah by itself means; Show. It is a script designed for the world's stage and it was intended to be performed at the age of Pisces. You read these books and imagine a fantasy, whilst the Royals run the show on earth. They follow the instructions in the script; chapter after chapter, episode after episode. You live in a biblical theatre but you can't connect the show to the script. No Eyes to See. Here you can compare the script to the show. micael50.wordpress.com/2019/11/09/torah-time-line-revised/
Catholic tradition stems from Orthodox tradition the difference is the Orthodox don’t innovate unless the Holy Spirit makes a ecumenical council possible and even then time tells if the will is eternal. Catholics innovate too much because of the idea of the infallible pope when only Christ is infallible. That heresy created Protestant heresy that lead to so many fallen and dying branches from the eternal body of Christ, that exists through the Holy Spirit the Apostolic Orthodox Church. Catholic in Latin means whole and universal when today there’s so many divisions just in the Catholic Church alone because of advents like Vatican 2 and the heretical universalism that says all faiths are a true path to God that pope francis preaches. This is the issue when you have a single head of faith and the bishop of rome, the Latin patriarch was never the head of the faith in early Christian history. The concept of pope started in the 5th century due to geographical politics happening at the time. Eventually the goths needed a cultural figure head to get their conquered people to relax and the pope filled the power vacuum. Then the supposed holy body of Christ got even more into worldly affairs with the franks and Carolingian dynasty. Being throughly corrupted by the world and affairs of men. Adopting pagan traditions. Making decisions on their own without consulting the other patriarchs of the church. Sometimes even purposefully manufacturing documents to keep the pope in power and then turning around and inventing new calendars to spite the East. Then the heresy of the Filioque change was the final straw that broke the camels back. Leading the great schism of 1054. Now we let time speak for itself. Let’s look and see through history which apostolic church has greater claim and is doing better spiritually in the world today. I see Holy Liturgy performed by Catholics dressed up as literal clowns 🤡 I see Christianity utterly fractured and being manipulated by the evil one with homosexual preachers and women bishops and even some faiths started just so a king could divorce his wife. I see gnostics and pre destination heretics being the strongest Protestant faiths. I see so many people thirsting for the true faith but being lead astray by cults, false prophets, and scammers. I recognize all the good the Catholics did for the world in a worldly sense. But spiritually? Satan has his hands on the hearts of those men. The evil one loves nothing more than creating false faiths or twisting and perverting Christianity with subtle but deathly foolish innovations. Jehovah witnesses are the ultimate fruit of the Latin patriarch refusing to bow down to Church authority. Heretics that call Christ a creature! Lord have mercy on us all and open the eyes of your prodigal sons and daughters.

No man or woman of God worshiped on Sunday in the Bible. Certainly not after Christ’s resurrection, and definitely not before. You cannot give one citation of a saint worshiping on Sunday.
If you believe it’s Sunday: “On the first day of the week, when we were gathered together to break bread, Paul talked with them, intending to depart on the next day, and he prolonged his speech until midnight.” Acts 20:7 ESV We see breaking of bread on a Sunday.
Mark 16:9: Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils. John 4:24: God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth Revelation 1:10-11: 10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, 11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea. Saint John the Divine worshipped on Sunday.
“I am Lord of the Sabbath.” So, the Lords day is Saturday. As for the other points you cite, none of those say Sunday is the day of worship. As a matter of fact, your first point just says that they had lunch on Sunday. They broke bread on Sunday like they broke bread every other day. The Bible says, the Lord blessed the Sabbath Day. The pope says to worship Sunday. Which one will you choose? “As for me and my house.…….”

The Shabbat is the day of the REST….We rest in Gods promise and obey his commandments. Every day is our Shabbat now. The feast day / shabbats are all metaphor for CHRIST. Sam. Your an extraordinary preacher but you dont know what your talking about. Sabath "day" as God says is the seventh day. It was made for man to rest in it as YeHoVah commanded. Its Saturday and no other day. God rested on the seventh "day". And since we live in the universe and on earth that God made day and night for and mafe it for us mortals to measure days and times. Then we have to rest on the seventh day every week as we are commanded. Sabbath is not only for Israel but for all humanity. Again thete is only one Sabbath in the week and we call it Saturday in the inglish speaking world and not sunday or monday or Tuesday. Its Saturday. According to the 4th commandments. We must rest and observe the Sabbath day and kerp it Holy! And the plural sabbaths that you mentioned are high Holy days of the feasts of our God YeHoVah! Read psalm 23. So in closing. We must all keep the seventh day Sabbath to rest and to keep it Holy. And wr must all celebrate the feast days of our God in their appointed timed. Specifically to the High sabbaths.

Sorry, but you're making a lot of weird leaps in logic, just because it is not explicitly said the Seventh Day ended, and it is never differentiated between God's Sabbath and an Israelite Sabbath. I think it's pretty clear when he says "Keep MY Sabbaths" that it's the same one. 8:06 You said it yourself, believe in Jesus, and Jesus said in John 14:15 "If you Love Me, Keep my Commandments." I didn't hear him change the 4th one. Don't lie to yourselves and try to justify what you want to do, and interpret scripture to fit your own needs. Yes, worship God everyday, but the Sabbath is Holy. 10:17 You fail to mention here that the Sabbath was "Changed" to sunday by the Papacy as proof of their "divinity." As prophecied in the book of Daniel when he says they will seek to change laws and times, the only of God's laws that has to do with time is the 4th commandment. The context isn't that the Jews were keeping the wrong day, or that it didn't matter what day the kept, it was that they were not keeping the Sabbath in the correct way. Shown by how they persecuted Jesus for healing the sick on the Sabbath. They'd obviously lost the plot.

[23]And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.
[24]And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.

7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.
8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.
9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.

He is very knowledgeable but is in error when it comes to the Sabbath. That fact that all the disciples, apostles, even Jesus Himself kept the Sabbath. Sunday is celebrating Jesus resurrection but it is a tradition instituted by the Catholic hutch which Sam is apart of.

I kind of think that would be a big deal don’t you think that Jesus would of said something. But what does Jesus say when asked about Sabbath? He says to do good on the Sabbath. No where did He say hey guys when I resurrect, that sabbath thing don’t worry about it. There’s a new day. And you’re quoting verses where the disciples got together on Sunday to count money and eat. Please read all of it and pray. Six days shalt thou work, and do all thou art able. And then on the seventh, muck out the stable. Old Cavalry poem.
Do I NEED Marry, a rosary, the saints, the sacraments, the traditions and the laws. Do I need to attend Church multiple times a week, do I need to repent to a priest, OR;
Is having a wonderful relationship with Jesus enough? Is John 3:16 enough? Is repenting my sins ONLY to God in Jesus name, enough?
Obviously I don't expect a response.
As a Catholic you also know his answer is malarkey. The Catholic Church believes it transferred the sabbath to Sunday and that is the day to refrain from work. Read your catechism. This spiritual rest in Jesus? What does that even mean? That sounds like modern Christianity jumbo.
@@THEE_SAGA_ Amen brother ! Learned catholics openly admit that the"church" ( Vatican/papacy) changed the biblical sabbath to the Sunday most christians keep today. Google it , bing it, tor it , whatever it will pop up .
Wow. Great explanation direct from the Bible. Thank you so much, now IT makes sense
Did you listen to the same thing I did? All I heard was twisting of scripture to endorse a point. God says Keep the sabbath day holy. You shall do no work on it. If the sabbath is now everyday then how do you justify doing any work on any day? Scripture is very clear the sabbath starts at sundown Friday night to Saturday sundown. God rest on the 7th day to set an example, it is not the Israelite's decision to worship and rest on the sabbath, it's God's. Jesus was crucified on a high Jewish sabbath day and He rose from the dead on a Jewish sabbath day.

Ah, there's one day added so the judaism sabbath is no longer accurate if we go by the 24 hour day. References would be :
Joshua 10:12-13 Then Joshua spoke to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the sons of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, "O sun, stand still at Gibeon, And O moon in the valley of Aijalon." So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, Until the nation avenged themselves of their enemies. Is it not written in the book of Jashar? And the sun stopped in the middle of the sky and did not hasten to go down for about a whole day. {That's 23 hours 20 minutes}
2Ki 20:9-11 Isaiah said, "This shall be the sign to you from the LORD, that the LORD will do the thing that He has spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten steps or go back ten steps?" So Hezekiah answered, "It is easy for the shadow to decline ten steps; no, but let the shadow turn backward ten steps." Isaiah the prophet cried to the LORD, and He brought the shadow on the stairway back ten steps by which it had gone down on the stairway of Ahaz.
Committing sin that leads to death breaks that spiritual sabbath, as is written also in the book of Hebrews:
Heb 6:4-6 "For in the case of those who have once been enlightened and have tasted of the heavenly gift and have been made partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, and then have fallen away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance, since they again crucify to themselves the Son of God and put Him to open shame. What sabbath was ordained by God after creation?
What holidays/feasts did Jesus Christ observe?

@@johnjones7720 Give me one verse in the Bible in which Jesus observed the Sabbath as the norm. Was it one of the accusations against him that he made people break the Sabbath? Jesus was opposed to the traditional observance of the Sabbath.
What am I missing? As Paul manner was, He went each Sabbath to reason with the Jews. This will be the opportune time to meet with the Jews on the Sabbath.
Consider this: the tabernacle in the wilderness was modeled after the heavenly one. Were they one and the same?
@@denisewenke8323 the tabernacle on earth was given to the people to let them know the plan of salvation, as noted in Psalms 77:13. I have not studied whether the dimensions are to scale, but Revelation does give a description of New Jerusalem (i think the sanctuary is more of a rectangle and New Jerusalem is square). I do not believe that worshiping on Sunday is a deal-breaker. To this end, I have heard Sunday pastors when speaking of the Sabbath will often say they worship every day.
Frank Turek suggests that the letter of the Sabbath no longer applies and that we spiritually rest in Jesus. I am not smart enough to decipher what he means by this. 16 So, because Jesus was doing these things on the Sabbath, the Jewish leaders began to persecute him. 17 In his defense, Jesus said to them, “My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I too am working.” 18 For this reason they tried all the more to kill him; not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God.
Sunday is simply our celebration of His resurrection
You can celebrate God’s resurrection but the Sabbath day was instituted at Creation and the only day God blessed, sanctified and made Holy.
Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy.
So y'all skipped the video and went right to the comments for some self-affirming gotchas?
Brother that's fine but it doesn't negate the command of keeping the sabbath....
The sabbath was never changed to sunday, man changed the Sabbath not God, you are wrong.

John 5: 1-18:
1 After this there was a feast of the Jews; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
2 Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches.
3 In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water.
4 For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.
5 And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.
6 When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?
7 The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.
8 Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.
9 And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.
10 The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, It is the sabbath day: it is not lawful for thee to carry thy bed.
11 He answered them, He that made me whole, the same said unto me, Take up thy bed, and walk.
12 Then asked they him, What man is that which said unto thee, Take up thy bed, and walk?
13 And he that was healed wist not who it was: for Jesus had conveyed himself away, a multitude being in that place.
14 Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.
15 The man departed, and told the Jews that it was Jesus, which had made him whole.
16 And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day.
17 But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.
18 Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.
Sam my dear brother don’t change the laws of Jesus Christ because he didn’t change anything but he holding all the laws that he give us
It's so painful seeing how some people who call themselves believers in the comments are behaving like unbelievers.
Crucified on friday*
I really love Sam's work, but this is not what the bible preaches. I am a non-denominational Sabbath keeping Christian. GOD IS THE SAME YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND TOMORROW
I believe in the Triune God, and the bible clearly shows evidence, and what is more clear is the Sabbath:
In creation, God rested
In death, Jesus rested and observed the Sabbath
In the early church, they observed the Sabbath.
But how did we end up with Jesus raised from the dead on Sunday, I can't find it in the Bible.
it does not say you enter into his rest by believing, it says there is a rest for the people of god, these are already believers, therefore there is a rest for the people of god, that rest is the baptism of the holy ghost, when you are baptized into the spirit of god, you are entered into his rest and you cease from your own works because you have entered into his rest, which is the spirit, just believing does not fill you with the spirit of god, obedience to his word brings the spirit, then you rest in him, in his spirit in the inner man, you work the word of faith, which is not your own works but his works set forth for you to do, and if you walk in them then the spirit will fill you as jesus baptizes you with that spirit, no one knows when the wind will blow upon them, just as no one knows when the spirit blows upon you, you work the works of faith and as you go the spirit just comes and blows into your heart giving birth to a new nature within you, all believers should be filled, but they are not, just like the ones paul ran into and ask if they had been filled with the spirit, and they never even heard of it, so he laid hands on them and they were filled, it comes into you in many ways, laying on of hands, praying, fasting, preaching, teaching, and so forth, but you cant just sit down and wait for it to happen, you must get up and shake your faith by working the works of faith, not your works, but his works which bring the gifts and calling of god to all believers who ask, seek, knock, search, and work their faith, and when you receive the anointing of the spirit you will be able to avoid false teachers like this sam is, he is trying to proselyte you to the cathoilc cult.
We get two days off right !

One language for the commoners - low language = Bad (evil)
The other language for the Royals - high language = Good
Commoners live in the field.

Sam is a very knowledgeable guy but he is wrong about the Sabbath and I think primarily due to Catholic tradition.
I think primarily due to Hebrews 4 which is in the Bible.
The Christian celebration of Sabbath is mentioned in The Didache dated between 50 -90 AD.
@@HollywoodBigBoss The Sabbath was instituted at creation and Isaiah says the Sabbath will also remain in Heaven as well.
So he is wrong because you say so?

You are good debater bro, but you reject the weekly Sabbath.
No man or woman of God worshiped on Sunday in the Bible. Certainly not after Christ’s resurrection, and definitely not before. You cannot give one citation of a saint worshiping on Sunday.
Is the first day of the week Monday or Sunday, according to scripture?
If you believe it’s Sunday:
“On the first day of the week, when we were gathered together to break bread, Paul talked with them, intending to depart on the next day, and he prolonged his speech until midnight.”
Acts 20:7 ESV
We see breaking of bread on a Sunday.
Mark 16:9:
Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.
John 4:24:

The Sabbath was made for MAN not for the Jew.. it was made in Eden...SAM keeps the other 9 but not the 4th

I didn't hear him change the 4th one.
