@@oahukane 2 Timothy 4:3 For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions,
*Sam's is completely wrong.* Matthew 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? There are two questions here. These texts don't mention anything about the Sabbath Commandment being made void. That the Sabbath belonged to the Jews. They merely cite that the Sabbath was still the Sabbath in 70AD. The discord goes to show that Jesus is the LORD of the Sabbath, it starts saying the opposite of what Sam is arguing: Matthew 23 :1 Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples, :2 Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat: :3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not. There is a marked difference between the people and the Laws of God. The Sabbath was not made for the Jews it was the commandment that we are God's. It was made for man. Only God is the judge of the Sabbath. He spent his ministry showing that the leaders were often breaking the Sabbath. At no time did he say the Sabbath belonged to the Jews. He was the Lord of the Sabbath, in other words, God.
Thé Mosthigh God even spoke true his prophet to the strangers what they should do and that is keep the Sabbath day holy. Meaning no work shall be done. ‘Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to the LORD, speak, saying, The LORD hath utterly separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree. For thus saith the LORD unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant; Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;’ Isaiah 56:3-4, 6 KJV
Luke 23: 55 And the women who had come with Him from Galilee followed after, and they observed the tomb and how His body was laid. 56 Then they returned and prepared spices and fragrant oils. And they rested on the _Sabbath_ according to the commandment. The first Christians, the people who always followed Jesus Christ, did what on the Sabbath? They rested on the Sabbath according to the commandment. Saturday is the day when people go shopping and meet friends at restaurants. Of course, they don't want to respect the commandment. They would rather believe lies than give up shopping on the mall on the Sabbath and stuff like that. People believe what they want to believe because they want the "easy way." Do what you want, people, but don't complain after.
NOTICE: OF ALL THE VERSES HE DID A GYMNASTIC ON HE NEVER ANSWERED THE QUESTION ABOUT THE SABBATH BEING APPLICABLE TO ALL CHRISTIAN IN WHICH YESHUA/JESUS EXPECTED US TO KEEP IT FOR ALL GENERATION.... LISTENNNNN! Shammmoun said its only for that generation that MATT. 24:20 is applied too when clearly the disciples also asked when Yeshua's "second coming and the end of age" Thus, implying He already did and the end age came.. Shamm also kept jumping on verses taking them out context as well, and never came to the conclusion about the sabbath.... Jesus said I never knew depart from 'YOU WHO WORKERS OF LAWLESSNESS!
Jesus - the Lord of the Sabbath (Matthew 12:8; Mark 2:28; Luke 6:5) - was not instituting the Sabbath in Matthew 24:20. It had already existed since Genesis 2:23-24. In Matthew 24:15-20, when told his disciples to pray that, when they see the abomination of desolation standing in the holy place, their flight not be on a Sabbath, he was expressing his expectation that his followers - who are being grafted into Israel (Romans 11:17-24) - would continue to observe the Sabbath till the end times.0 The Sabbath is a blessing. Enjoy it as a day of rest and maintain regular church attendance: *Hebrews :10:23-25* _Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful; and let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near._ a clear reference to the 'holy convocation' that is integral to sabbath observance (Leviticus 23:3). Stay away from the the Seventh Day Adventists and their heresies, though.
Glad to see you're still here. I do wonder how much longer that will be, though. I saw shamounian's attacks on you, calling you a female d-0-g multiple times for calling him out on his use if the New World Translation to support a heretical argument about God resting on the seventh day and pointing out his errors regarding Hebrews 4 and Romans 14. Sam deleted both your comment and my reply. Calling people a d-0-g and blocking their comments when Sam disagrees with them is his standard operating procedure, it seems. He is really just a bully - an embarrassment to Christianity and Christian apologetics.
SDA and other Sabbaterians are so radical on Sabbath keeping and forget the whole Gospel. We as sinners are saved through faith by the Grace of God. We must not loose sight of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and be swept away by teachings of mortals like Helen G White and others. Sam is right on that particular text, we must read the whole text to understand the whole context of the message the Messiah said in His Ministry. Keep up the good work, Sam.
@danstenmou9913 : That is simply not true, any more than saying because Christians teach about "Sun"-day and argue for it that they too forget the Gospel. It's ludicrous! 🤯 It is simply a day of rest at the end of the week after 6 days work. What is wrong with that? That doesn't interfere with the Gospel but rather gives all believers a day ofv at the same time, whether Jewish or Gentile without exclusion in order to be free enough to be able to meet collectively to worship God. Anything outside of that is not instructed by God.
i believe the Sabbath is much more than most realize. It's like a weekly date with the One you love, working on a relationship and at the same time, resting and doing well for others. sure -- there are people on both sides who are radical or extremists -- but isn't it better to be extreme for Jesus -- the One who gave all? i fail to see how the _'whole context of the message of Messiah'_ is lost, when we focus on showing Him love -- John 14:15 while sam and his folks are showing the contrary by not following Them.
Facts, the SDA Cult are so hypocritical because they want to scream Sabbath and yet they cannot even keep it themselves. They do not observe it at all as the old testament Jews would have, these SDA Cultists fail as soon as they get in the car and drive to the church on Saturn-day smh works base religion will always fall flat on its face. Just accept the finished work of Christ, Jesus says remember the Sabbath and keep it Holy, the Son of man is Lord of the Sabbath, the Sabbath was made for man not the other way around. Ellen G White the false teacher has led so many astray.
No Change Documented in the Bible Not only was Jesus a perfect example in observing the weekly seventh-day Sabbath, but all His disciples followed the same pattern after Jesus had gone back to heaven. Yet no intimation of any change of the day is made.
Sam: Matthew 24 does NOT prove that the Sabbath is no longer binding. The Sabbath has never been abrogated. Yehshua said the Sabbath was made for man (mankind) and man for the Sabbath.(Mark 2:27).
Matthew 5:17-20 reads as follows: 17 “Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill. 18 “For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished
Jesus Christ explained how we should keep the Sabbath Holy. By doing what is good to others and worship God, but he never said that we should not help others during Sabbath
VS 17: They were "SHADOW OF THINGS TO COME" Meaning the Ceremonial laws like the annual sabbath and the sacrificing of animals which were pointing FORWARD to Jesus. The weekly Sabbath was not about things to come as it wasn;t pointing forward but points us BACK TO THE CEATION and begins with the word REMENMBER as in Remember what happened on the first week of Creation to celebrate it by KEEPING THE SABBATH HOLY!
“ And he will speak out against the Most High and wear down the Saints of the Highest One, and he will intend to make alteration in Time and Law….”-beware Christians, God warned the Prophet Daniel about this, as did Messiah about those who would “deceive even the Elect.”
Sam should stick with refuting Islam as he is hopeless with the Bible! Notice that he also got this poor guy who says he is an Adventist but doesn't know what he believes and is here trying to learn some theology from Sam who does not know Bible theology. lol!!!
WOW! I am continually wowed and amazed not only by my ignorance, arrogance and but by how much I have been deceived and how I have deceived others by my own and by man interpreting this Word of God found in the pages of the Judeo-Christian Bible rather than allowing scripture to interpret scripture and how my own heart, thoughts, and ideas have twisted these holy scriptures to the destruction of specific areas of my life thus far....but also by the privilege and grace of God that I have not yet been consumed by my ignorance, stupidity, and self-destructive ways, rather than staying faithful to the One who has always been and will be faithful according to His Word in Christ Jesus. May The LORD God Almighty in Christ Jesus cleanse me as by His goodness I am called to repent from things I have learned that I thought and believed to be something that they were not. WOW Lord Jesus help me and help us all! In Jesus' Wonderful Name!
It is terrible when people are trying to look smart in front of publicity by explaining wrong the bible. First of all, I can easily see the pride on sam. We must be careful. Sam thinks that he is Gods messenger. He is so wrong.
Ain’t no one gonna care about what I write but I’ve found that it’s clear that the sabbath is fulfilled in Christ. He never repeats to keep the sabbath day. He says Love God with all your heart etc and love your neighbor as yourself. He demonstrated that the purpose of the sabbath was more than a day to not do work on. Yes, the Ten Commandments are still said to be binding upon a Christian. If Christ is the new sabbath, Just as he is the new law, Just as he is the new convenant Then he is the rest. The day is Christ.
Love God and love your Neighbor as yourself is to keep the Ten Commandments. The first 4 is about God, and the remaining 6 is about our love for mankind. Christ is our rest from sin, but he isn’t our Sabbath. The Sabbath was MADE for me, Christ was never MADE he is before all things.
I am amazed at the theological gymnastics human beings engage in to Not obey God's commandments. So, Jesus is the Sabbath Rest for the Christian in the new testament; therefore he needs not keep the 7th day Sabbath. By that logic one may conclude that he no longer needs drink literal water because Jesus is the living water which if a man drink he will never thirst again. Jesus is also the bread of life,so no longer does one need literal food because we have the substance and no longer need the shadow.
I believe the Sabbath is to inform us to rest one day out of the week. A lot of people break the Saturday Sabbath day could not possibly be held accountable. If that's the case then most cops, doctors, nurses, and emergency paramedics would be lost.
@@richhuzy6592 Yes, I did read it. My question is, IF one was held “accountable “ (whatever that means) what would be the verdict that would cause them or warrant them to be LOST? What do you mean by “lost.”
@@David-kk4dr first you never asked a question the first time. Now to your question you just now asked, if you keep the law of Moses then Moses would be your judge. Genesis 2:2-3. KJV 2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. 3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
Matthew 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven:
Sam is absolutely wrong regarding the Sabbath! This exposes Sam’s understanding of scripture! He comes across as knowledgeable but is actually arrogant mostly! I am not a fan of this guy
Misleading after Misleading. This young man is confused and misled. This chapter talks about the destruction of Jerusalem after Jesus went to heaven, and he warned his followers to escape and be safe, but their escape must not be on Sabbath or winter. Destruction happened ,those who obeyed were safe. Sam lied about the SDA position on this chapter.
It’s a dual prophecy. Just as the abomination of desolation is a dual prophecy. Go back to Catholic school Sam and I’ll still run rings around you 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The fact you are not talking about is that, how come Jesus refers to an event taking place about 40 years later and associates it to the Sabbath, which you are always referring to as being done away on the Cross. This reference in verse 20 is referring to the Sabbath being kept or observed later after the death on the Cross.
@elvisndlamasinyangwe8461 : Very valid point! The verse actually proves that the believers would still be keeping the Sabbath all that time after the resurrection, just as Peter in Joppa 15 years after the resurrection was still not eating unclean animals. He even refused God's offer 3 times He was so sure that God could not break His own Law. That's faith!!!
God said “Remember” because He knew people would eventually forget. But there is no debate as to which day is the Sabbath of the Fourth Commandment: that is Saturday or more appropriately from Friday sundown to Saturday sundown. This fact is undisputed by most Christian scholars today.
Galatians 2:16 “Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.” Romans 10:4 “For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.” Romans 4:15 “Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression.” Romans 5:13 “(For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.” Romans 7:6 “But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.”
And to all who say that we are to keep the Law, Did you recieve the blessed Holy Spirit when you were obedient to the Law ? Or when you were baptized into Christ's death and raised a new creature with a New Spirit. Not anything that you did but what God did to you and for you because you had faith in The God who raised Jesus from the dead? And the evidence of the Holy Spirit are by the fruit of The Holy Spirit of GOD.❤ Much Love to Jesus and To his father and to our Father❤.
@ravenfly01 You misquoted Galatians 3:2. It says, "Did you receive the Spirit by the WORKS of the Law, or by the hearing of faith?" The "Works of the Law" is very different from the Law of Moses. The works of the law is the Talmud, Gemara, the Mishna and other rabbinical man-made rules commands and traditions (see Mark 7:1-13).
Sam is unfortunately what you would call a fast talking, judgmental (calls a lot of people heretics, blasphemers, etc...), religious car sales man who takes a lot of Bible out of context. Any 5min study on this chapter should show you that he is butchering the context in this explanation of Matt 24:20, let alone the entire chapter. Two things should be clear after reading this chapter. First, that the destruction of the temple did actually take place as Jesus said it would. Second, that Jesus isn't only talking about the temple but also his second coming and the things that would be happening in the world as signs to show his coming was near. It's a message with two meanings/entendres which Jesus and others have done before. The phrase "this generation" is simply referring to the generation that is alive WHEN these signs (in vs 27-51) take place, meaning that when that generation sees those signs, they will also still be alive to see the second coming of Jesus. As far as the priest seeing Jesus coming, Rev 1:7 specifically says that those who pierced his hands will also see him coming in the clouds, which could include the priest responsible for his death. Its sad to see some many people duped so easily by this guy simply because he gives a what sounds like a fair explanation, yet when you actually stop and think about it, it doesn't really make any sense. If the sabbath was done away with after the cross and we are under the new covenant, why worry at all if your flight is on sabbath at all, since it's done away with? Where were the famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in divers places before the destruction of the temple? How many false prophets where there before this? And what about the part of the great tribulation such as never has been since the world began? Did we see that before the temple destruction? Nope, nope, nope, and nope. Where were the signs and wonders from those false prophets? Finally, how is it that the passage can give a perfect visual example of seeing lightning flashing from east to west and so shall also the Son of man be and yet Sam says it is not as it says. When we turn our brains off it's easy to let guys like this convince us of what is and isn't the truth. Study it for yourself and let God be your guide and you'll see and know what is and isn't truth. God bless.
✝️👑🙏🏻❤️ GLORY TO THE FATHER, SON, AND HOLY SPIRIT, ONE GOD, AMEN. JESUS CHRIST IS COMING SOON. REPENT AND BELIEVE IN THE GOSPEL. ACCEPT HIM IN YOUR HEARTS. JESUS CHRIST LOVES YOU WITH AN EVERLASTING LOVE.
Sorry Sam...but your interpretation doesn't fly. Before 70 AD was not the end of the world. They were not fulfilled then. Jesus was saying that THIS generation that is LIVING at the TIME OF THE END, would see these things fulfilled. He also said that there would be NO sign to the present wicked and adulterous generation to be given, EXCEPT the sign of the prophet Jonah (Matthew 16:4). The high priest mentioned in Matthew 26:64 by Jesus, will see him when he returns at his second coming. Revelation 1:7 says: "...every eye will SEE HIM..." I enjoy your teaching, and have been blessed many times by your insight on many subjects, but was compelled to answer on this one.
Constantine's long immersion in sun worship led him to formalize a change in the weekly day of rest for Christianity to Sunday, the day of worship of the sun. “In 321 Constantine introduced Sunday as a weekly day of rest . . . and on it no work was done . . .Nov 9, 2023
HERE IS THE PROBLEM !!! First If anybody who is not a born physical Israelite of the 12 Tribes but a Gentile Believer. Reads anything in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John and thinks it applies to them without confirming it in the Apostles epistles....... Then you show you have absolutely NO discernment with scripture !!! Jesus in MATTHEW 15:24 said He only came for the House of Israel, and in MATTHEW 10:5-6 ordered them NOT to go to the Gentile's yet.......... Our instructions as Gentile believers starts in ACTS 15 and is confirmed in ACTS 21:24-25, GALATIANS, 1 CORINTHIANS 7, and 2 CORINTHIANS 3........ Secondly the Sabbath day is Saturday (NOT Sunday). And nowhere in scripture is it called a "day of worship"; its called "A day of Rest"............ It like the rest of the written law was a shadow of the True Rest we receive in Jesus Christ....... So rather a person goes to church on Saturday or Sunday to do worship services. Has ABSOLUTELY NO bearing on the observance of the Sabbath day.......... Because that is NOT what the Sabbath is about !!! As yes a person can worship on the Sabbath, but it is not a requirement to worship on that day........ Finally, remember what the Apostles Paul and James said. If you make even just 1 ordinance required for salvation. Then you make the WHOLE law required to be kept without fail to get salvation....... And there is over 600 ordinances (not 10). So good luck in trying to earn your salvation !!!
No other day has ever been sanctified as the day of rest. The Sabbath Day begins at sundown on Friday and ends at sundown on Saturday. Genesis 2:1-3; Exodus 20:8-11; Isaiah 58:13-14; 56:1-8; Acts 17:2; Acts 18:4, 11; Luke 4:16; Mark 2:27-28; Matthew 12:10-12; Hebrews 4:1-11; Genesis 1:5, 13-14; Nehemiah 13:19.
matt 24 v 3 the disciples question was " 3 ¶ And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?" clearly end times.
For us the Sabbath is not found in a specific day again for Christ has fulfill the smallest letter of the law by dying on the cross and shedding his blood as a ransome for all thereby making us not God's enemies and salve , but now making us Sons. Now that we are sons we are free and have entered God's "Sabbath" REST. For those that are in Christ are in God's Sabbath .
@@David-kk4dr the 7th day is like a house while the Lord of the Sabbath is the owner of the house , to whom do you give honour to is it the house or the owner of the house? Jesus in the scripture say " come to me all who are burdened with heavy load and I will give you REST" for me I have surrendered my burdened of sin to Christ who shed his blood for my sake and have entered God's Sabbath(REST), so everyday is my Sabbath(I am always in God's rest and not bounded or enslaved by a day in the week)
@@sundayokpanachi2307 The Scripture says: “So God blessed the seventh day and made IT HOLY, because on it God rested from all his work that he had done in creation. (Gen. 2:3). Notice that it doesn’t say “every day is a Sabbath, or holy” but the 7th day is HOLY or sanctified. Therefore WE are to sanctify the day that God Himself sanctified. You can do what you want with those other days, but don’t call those days the “Sabbath.” That’s unscriptural and furthermore, we are told … “Do not add to his words, lest he rebuke you and you be found a liar.” (Proverbs 30:6). Yes, The Messiah gives us rest, but the Scripture says “rest for your SOULS,” not physical rest.
@@sundayokpanachi2307 First, the Scripture says: “So God blessed the seventh day and made IT HOLY, because on it God rested from all his work that he had done in creation.” (Gen. 2:1-3). In Matthew 23:19 Yeshua the Messiah said, “You blind people. For which is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifies the gift?” It can be said by using substitute words, “For which is greater, the Sabbath, or God that sanctifies the Sabbath?” It was God Himself that sanctified the 7th day and no other day. It was considered “holy” because He Himself rested from His act of creation and set the pattern for mankind to follow. It’s like a tithe. We take one day out of the week and give it to God and rest PHYSICALLY and not do our own desires but reflect totally on Him, his creation, His Word etc. and not be dictated by the tyranny of “work.” Yes, Yehshua gives us rest, but the scripture says, “rest for your “SOULS.” God said, “If you turn back your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on my holy day, and call the Sabbath a delight and the holy day of the LORD honorable; if you honor it, not going your own ways, or seeking your own pleasure,d or talking idly; then you shall take delight in the LORD, and I will make you ride on the heights of the earth;f I will feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father, for the mouth of the LORD has spoken.” (Isa. 58:13,14). You can do whatever you desire on those other days, but don’t call them the Sabbath because it’s unscriptural. And The Word says, “Do not add to his words, lest he rebuke you and you be found a liar.” (Proverbs 30:6)
@@David-kk4dr Just some food for thought. The first 6 days had an evening and a morning. Clearly they all ended. The seventh day has never ended and continues even now. We live in the seventh day of creation and since Jesus has redeemed us, we may join him and participate in his sabbath rest. It is worth at least considering the earthy "shadows" God provided in his instruction to Israel that were meant to reflect the actual truths in heaven. You can read in the sermon on the mount in Mathew how Jesus restated 9 of the 10 commandments, "you have heard...". His point was that they were misunderstood and used to sort of complete a checklist of physical performance instead of engaging the heart. This is clear from his answer to the Parisees about which was the greatest commandement. Love your God and love your neighbor (paraphrasing here for brevity). The only commandment not explicity restated is to remember the Sabbath because Jesus redemption provides the eternal sabbath. Every day we live can be lived in the seventh day and the sabbath of Jesus if we so choose. Please understand that nothing I have written is meant as any sort of criticism of anyone. We all see darkly because of the effect of sin in our lives. I share this only in an attempt to provide a little light into the glory of this magnificent God who encourages us to take his yoke upon us because it is light and the burden is easy. I pray we all (including me) will stop striving and fully surrender to Him.
St. Ignatius of Antioch Worship on Sunday Letter to the Magnasians 9 Those, then, who lived by ancient practices arrived at a new hope. They ceased to keep the Sabbath and lived by the Lord's Day, on which our life as well as theirs shone forth, thanks to Him and his death, though some deny this. Through this mystery we got our faith, and because of it we stand our ground so as to become disciples of Jesus Christ, our sole teacher. How, then, can we live without him when even the prophets, who were his disciples by the Spirit, awaited him as their teacher? He, then, whom they were rightly expecting, raised them from the dead, when he came.

Jesus's Sabbath encounters were to show that he was the LORD GOD. Every encounter showed the judgments of God and how to keep it. *The Jewish leaders:* In their zeal, by rejecting God and in their hatred of him, they broke their own version of the Sabbath: Matthew 27 :62 Now the next day, that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate, :63 Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again. The following day started in the evening part of the day.

Though I understand that we need to live our lives as if every day is the Holly Sabbath the main reason I believe that the Sabbath is still important is because in Genesis the seventh day of God's rest is not finished. So because we live in the seventh day after the creation of Adam and Eve and before they committed the first sin, we need to remember it. 2 Peter 3:8 But beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that a day is with the Lord like a thousand years and a thousand years are like a day. According to one Irish priest (Usher) he calculated that there were 4000 years from the time of the first sin until Jesus was born. Which means that there are 6000 years untill current times. Sabath represents the Seventh millennium which is going to be rulled by Jesus.
He said that to the israelites at Mount Sinai. If you notice and actually read the Bible, you'll see that Jesus never once to anybody commanded. To keep the sabbath, that was only for the israelites as the sign of their covenant.

Hello Sam, so as you say, you are burying the Sabbath alone or all ten commandments? And can you explain where Sunday worship come from? Thank you. And please don't bury me.
This begs the question. If the ten are still in full force then why did he die to give us the two? If they don't teach that Jesus is God. (Jesus Christ is eternal, He is the Alpha and Omega, beginning and the end, the first and the last) 5. If their foundation is not okay. (Check the history of your church or congregation, if the founders messed up somewhere, then just know that there is a problem even with the present) 6. If they teach that to follow Jesus Christ there are some steps that you need to follow (e.g reading books or doing something) (Remember Jesus said He is the way, the truth and the light, and no one can go to the Father without passing through Him). 7. If they teach that you can't understand the Bible by reading it alone. (The Bible is very much clear in 2 Timothy 3:16 that all scriptures are inspired by God, and they are there to teach, correct........ Saying that you can't understand the Bible alone is a way of trying to indoctrinate you. Jesus said I will send you the helper, the Holy Spirit, He shall teach you all things. Thus, the only thing you need is the Holy Spirit to understand the Bible, and not any other book; just know that you are reading the Bible with men's doctrines if you use a book to understand it)
When God says "Forever", He means forever Exo 31:16 Therefore the *people of Israel* shall keep the Sabbath, observing the Sabbath throughout their generations, as a covenant * forever *. Exo 31:17 It is *a sign forever between me and the people of Israel* that in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested and was refreshed.’”
ccording to Old Testament laws, the Sabbath is the seventh day of the week, Saturday. However, in Christian practice, the term Sabbath has often been applied to Sunday in recognition of the day of Christ's resurrection.Jun 17, 2023
Jesus is the SABBATH...he is the creator...GOD IN FLESH...the new covenant in mathew 28 actually reads IN THE END OF THE SABBATB AS IT BEGAN TO DAWN ON THE 1ST OF THE SABBATHS
Mat 28:1 In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. " WHY ARE YOU LYING?
Preception of truth comes from the knowledge of truth. That is as faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word/ Logos of God, thru scripture and confirmed in his creation. Now, the question of what is truth is a fallacy without faith in the Word, not just words. The words/ scriptures are the medium used to witness the Word Christ Jesus, to recognize him as THEE truth; and his own fulfillment of it and all he required in the law and prophets. Without faith it is impossible to please God.
Did Sam make an anti-Semitic comment near the end of the video or am I missing something? "Israel will no longer be the children of God. The Church is true Israel, the people of God." (22:08).🤨
ABSOLUTE BLASPHEMY right there. YISRAEL is the FIRSTBORN SON. YAHUSHA came through the YAHUDIM NOT the gentiles! The WORD is NOT ‘church’ but rather better translated as ASSEMBLY - a CONGREGATION before YAHUAH, Elohim. When DO THEY COME BEFORE HIM IN RIGHTEOUSNESS - IN THE SHABBATS (the SEVEN LIGHTS - for YAHUSHA is the LIGHT of the WORLD and IS THE WORD of ELOHIM. He came to ESTABLISH the TORAH in DEED and MIGHT by HIS HAND - HIS TRUTH & HIS WAY. HalleluYAH.
This is what THEY (the gentile church) calls REPLACEMENT THEOLOGY. BOASTING. EZE 37 / YERE 31-31-34 tells us about WHO YISRAEL is and it NOT whole YET but we PRAY for HIS WILL to be DONE and KNOW it WILL BE. HalleluYAH
It's not antisemitic. St. Paul tells us that the true Israel is the church, both jew and gentile together. God isn't concerned about lineage, as Christ Himself taught. "Of these stones God can raise up children unto Abraham."
@@hughwatt7859 which Israel? The nation, the people, or the faithful to God? The only one that matters as far as the NT is concerned is the faithful, ie. the church.
It's not changed. Observing the Sabbath was just pointing to and/or representing entering God's rest. Christ IS the Lord of the Sabbath. He IS that rest. What the Sabbath could only point to under the old covenant, is fully fulfilled in the new covenant. By accepting, believing in, and obeying Christ? Is EXACTLY how u enter God's rest. And there IS a law we are given under the new covenant which is clearly outlined in the NT, it's called the Law of Christ. We are to keep EVERY DAY holy, and enter God's continual rest. It's no longer in observation, but it's now fulfilled in reality. There was a specific purpose for the Sabbath, it pointed to something specific. We are now in a permanent Sabbath, every moment of every day, if we're in submission and obedience to Christ, and HIS law, the Law of Christ, we thus fulfill the whole law. We ARE NOT rejecting the Sabbath by observing or not a specific day, we are fulfilling it by being in Christ which is what that "rest" was pointing to. It wasn't about a specific day, it was simply a sign of the true rest that was to come
@@timmy1tap678 Christ is the Lord of the Sabbath indeed.... and in Genesis the Sabbath rest was said to be the 7th day. You will see that in the coming kingdom of the "CREATOR GOD" the Sabbath will be on the 7th day.... HE is the same today, yesterday and tomorrow. I dont make the Sabbath a salvation issue...but the LORD institutions are forever.
I’m not mad at Sam at all. I think it’s good that he turned from Islam. It’s really going up to the gentile nations to accept Christ as scripture says. A lot of Christians can’t except the Christ and the lost tribes of Israel being the so called African-Americans, Native Americans, and Latinos. In the end, everyone will obey Christ. The Lord knows who is really sincere regardless of doctoring.
At the beginning of the second century the Church Father Ignatius of Antioch approved non-observance of the Sabbath. The now majority practice of Christians is to observe Sunday, called the Lord's Day, rather than the Jewish seventh-day Sabbath as a day of rest and worship.
Did Jesus keep the sabbath? Christ is the perfect example of how we should live our lives and if they bible shows that he kept the Sabbath, shouldn't we keep the Sabbath?
My friend, Jesus teachers us that the old testament is preshadow of the reality which is Jesus Christ. I rather be in reality then running after the shadow. SDA believes in goods works but we believe in salvation by being born again in the spirit and receiving Christ as your Lord and Saviour.
@@LydiaKepas - the "preshadow" that you refer to is only mentioned in Hebrews 10 and specifically pertains to the OFFERINGS if you read the context. The Law is described as "good, and righteous and holy" by Paul (Rom 7:12) and "perfect' by James: "But whoever looks into the PERFECT LAW of LIBERTY and continues in it, he is not a forgetful hearer, but a DOER of the work. This one shall be BLESSED in his doing." (Jas 1:25) And I'm not an SDA.
@WotlehDickinson-iw1sw my question to you is what exactly does the new covenant mean to you? The Sabbath is part of God's 10 commandments that has never been changed and never will change. If we are now going to do away with the commandments because of the new covenant just remember that there are 10 commandments not just 1. I would also ask you to think about who instituted Sunday worship and why they thought they had the authority to make this change.
According to these verses, what should we do to keep the Sabbath day holy? (We should go to the house of prayer, rest from our labors, pay our devotions, offer up oblations and sacraments, confess our sins, prepare our meals with singleness of heart, fast, and pray.)
I'm still trying to understand why Jesus would even mention the sabbath if they wouldn't have been keeping the sabbath during that time of tribulation.
It amazes me how much you hate God's people who live by the 10 Commandments as written by God's finger in stone. And in another video you were calling Ellen G White a false prophet ! What proofs have you she is a false prophet ? Have you ever read The Great Controversy for yourself or are you basing your judgements on slanderous lies from the devil's servants ??
How do you know this? Based on the context it seems Paul is speaking about the old Law. He is counseling the Jewish Christians not to judge the Gentiles on not following the old Law. They were now under a new Law; the Law of the Christ.
Hi Sam, the Israelite weekly Sabbath was instructed by God to His people as a commemoration of His creations. Which means that God wants His people to acknowledge Him as the Supreme Creator, which means that once every week, His creations has to remember their Creator and acknowledge God as their Supreme Creator. Of course God never rest but as His instruction, He created everything and only His people should appreciate that, and that is what God wants from His people. If you say that the Sabbath was only given to the Israelites, are you also saying that God creates the world and everything in it just for the Israelites, which came to exist a long time after the creations? The Sabbath that you are claiming as the true Sabbath, denies God's claim of creations in Genesis. 6 days are given for mankind, but only 1 day for God. And that is why we have the weekly cycle from creation, otherwise we would not have a weekly cycle but a 1 day cycle, and that 1 day is the Sabbath, which means, everyday is the Sabbath day. God knows and understand that humans have knowledge and can reason for their survival, that is why He gave all the time to us and only 1 seventh for Him. In that way none of the whole 10 Commandments of God is bridged.
Nope! The context is based on the question of asking about signs regarding the end of the age. Jesus' response is directly regarding the things about to happen not in AD70, but at "the end of the age". Its obvious that the things Jesus talks about are not happening in AD70.
I agree. The words End of Age are used in Matthew multiple times. Ultimately leading up to Matthew 28. Matthew 28:16-20 CSB [16] The eleven disciples traveled to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had directed them. [17] When they saw him, they worshiped, but some doubted. [18] Jesus came near and said to them, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. [19] Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, [20] teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” So we can take End of age as the end of the second temple.. but we would have to incorporate this with the context of Chapter 28 as well. Would Jesus only be with the disciples leading up until 70 AD? Also if he was to only be with the 11, and not the newfound disciples, that would mean Jesus is not with anyone who is a current believer because it stopped in 70AD due to this interpretation. If we take the context of Matthew 24. It says Matthew 24:3-5 CSB [3] While he was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples approached him privately and said, “Tell us, when will these things happen? And what is the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” [4] Jesus replied to them, “Watch out that no one deceives you. [5] For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and they will deceive many. Many will come and claim I am the Messiah, which means Jesus is not currently on earth, but awaiting his return. So we can take verse 3s use of End of age, as well of Sign of your coming. Means his return on earth. I agree this is talking about his return and not the destruction of the Second temple in 70AD
Also if some are coming and saying they are the Christ in Matthew 24, but in Matthew 28, he is risen and has shown himself to his followers he is not speaking of the time between His death, and resurrection due to this taking place in the chapter between 24 and 28. So one can only assume this is speaking of his final return where he judges the world and establishes his Kingdom.
This man bares no fruit from the spirit. He may have knowledge of scripture but so does the devil. As in Matthew 7:20 it states "Therefore by their fruits you will know them." But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Where does Sam have patience, he mocks his opponents, where does he hold gentleness, attacking one's who question his interpretations, kindness? Watch his videos and let God's Spirit reveal If he bares these fruits. You will come to learn he does not.
@@matthewfriedrich3063 You're a dumb bastard, you know that? Matthew 28 is a different context, nor does the "end of the age" in that context refer to the second coming, either. If we go by your own interpretation, then are you saying Jesus will only be with his apostles up until the second coming, and then he won't be? It's just an idiomatic expression meant to convey that he will be with them ALWAYS, not to denote a specific date. And why did you only cite Matthew 24:3-5 and not the verses before them where Jesus literally gives you the context that the Temple will be destroyed? Furthermore, your whole interpretation falls apart when you realize that Jesus says that this generation will not pass until all these things take place, but that generation died anyway WITHOUT these things taking place, so are you making Jesus out to be a false prophet? Just zip your mouth.
Sam, I’m concerned for your soul brother. You should repent for not upholding all 10 of God’s commandments. You can tell yourself and others you’re right, but you are mistaken. Please don’t lead others astray.
So where does it say that gentile Christians don't have to keep the Sabbath? You want to ask the question, where does it say that gentile Christians have to keep the Sabbath after 70 a,d.? But again, where does it say that gentile Christians don't have to keep the Sabbath after 70 a.d.? Neither Jesus, nor any of the Apostles never said that gentile Christians don't have to keep the Sabbath. It was already an established principle for both Jews and gentile converts to keep the Sabbath. So how do you in your slick and sarcastic and belittling tone of explaining your position on the Sabbath think that you and the Catholic Church can just all of a sudden change an established Biblical principle of keeping the Sabbath in the 4th commandment and replace it which your man instituted Sunday sabbath which was established by a pagan emperor Constantine, who made it a LAW for Christians to keep the venerable day of the Sun, and not the Sabbath of God, on the seventh day? James Cardinal Gibbon's Arch Bishop of Baltimore In his book " Faith of our fathers" Plainly states that it was the Catholic Church that enforces Sunday sabbath keeping on page 96 or 98

this guy is one of the biggest 'bait & switch' speakers i've heard in a bit. he simply can't be wrong (in his own eyes anyhow). he lacks a foundation, proving he isn't following Truth -- see 1 John 2:3-4 since he isn't standing for the Lord's day, the 7th day Sabbath, he is a 'Liar' and Truth is not in him. *Happy Sabbath!!!* the Lord's day will be here at sunset this evening, i pray church tomorrow morning is a blessing for all of God's children!
Isa 66:22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain. Isa 66:23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD. Sam say we should read in comntext but then proceeded to murder the context of this passage by saying it was referring to the destruction of Jerusalem. So Sam, was there a New Heaven and a New Earth after the destruction of Jerusalem? Well, NO, obviously, so please stop twisting the scriptures to support your lies!!! Better still, REPENT and come on borad with the truth! This will be the only safe place for you to be!
This vers expose the whole NT to be going against the words of the Mosthigh God. ‘Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you. Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant. It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.’ Exodus 31:13, 16-17 KJV
There's a stumbling-block in that Text for most Christians... The Text says the "sign" of the Sabbath is to the "children of ISRAEL" and Christians that I speak to, by majority, believe they are something called "gentile believers" thus the Sabbath is not for them, nor are any of the Commands in the Law other than nine of the Ten Commands :/
@@2besavedcom-7 It’s because they have no knowledge of the words of the Mosthigh God. They should start studying Isaiah 56:1-8 where the strangers are aloud to come true the covenant by keeping the Sabbath holy. Here’s the kicker if JC is the same one who told the children of Israel to keep the Sabbath forever. Why did he not give them the same instruction?
When a person accepts Jesus into his or her heart the Commandments of God Almighty becomes complete in that person. That is why Jesus said he is the Lord of the sabbath.
Matthew 5 v 17 Jesus Christ explained everything in this scripture and verse and the reason why there's confusion and misunderstanding its because of the truth which is being ignored to save religions of men which Christ never came here for; sadly that won't happen, for the TRUTH has been delivered to all saints and nations will hear that truth and no man will stop it. For it has to be preached to the entire world, all nations before the end comes.
Some folks get around the "Generation" dying out objection by pointing out that Christ being born 3 BC would be included in it as the exception to the rule. Of course, I'm sure there is some kind of idiomatic or Lexical meaning in Greek, Aramaic, or Hebrew that might be better than this kind of nit picking. I thought someone else years ago said generation could stand also mean the human race etc. Yes as Sam Shamoun later points out the "World as idiom for the Roman World is one good solution. I need to memorize that verse for these kind of discussions!
The Apostle Paul said to his disciples under him - ( paraphrasing) some of you regard one day more sacred than another, that's Ok. Some of you prefer to eat meat, and some of you don't, that's alright. The vision of the sheet that dropped from heaven in Acts, I believe it was Peters vision, of the unclean food that became clean, I'm not sure what that means. I wouldn't accept 100% of any denominational leadership or groups leadership teaching. Paul said that , he said - I wouldn't have you all assume the office of a Teacher, knowing that we will be held more accountable.
In Jesus all things were fulfilled and that includes the Sabbath. The Sabbath is a moral commandment, meaning it will never go away and it is for our own good.
Seventh-Day Adventists are wrong about the Sabbath because they cannot see it's fulfillment in Christ, but you are wrong Sam about seeing Christ coming in the clouds. The high priest and every one will see Christ coming because everyone will be raised from the dead to see Him coming in the clouds during His second coming. Jesus is speaking about the destruction of the Temple in 70 A.D. and about His second coming. He is speaking about both events in that context

I think he (Sam) is trying to help people who are confused about Bible texts to see / understand the clear message that the Bible gives. If you think that Sam is the one who is confused and/or confuses others, then it would be good if you indicate what you think those clear Bible texts are. If you have good intentions regarding the desire to understand the Bible properly and not to confuse others, then you would also like to substantiate this. I don't see your reasoning. it is important to be firm in the truth, so perhaps he is rightly firm. and if you rightly call him stubborn, then you can also substantiate it. if not, maybe you need to face your own error/confusion and/or stubbornness? but if you are very stubborn and afraid that your own confusion will be exposed, then I can imagine that that could be an important reason for you not to substantiate your statement. (and that is real stubbornness) if you sincerely seek the truth and you want to be steadfast / firm in it, then you enter into a conversation with substantiation
@@gerryveenendaal796 our Creator is crystal clear about His 7th day -- Ex 20:8-11 sam tries to reason against It -- you think that's wise or even Christian? you wrote about _'truth'_ a few times in your post -- His Commandments are Truth Psalm 119:142, 151 -- which includes the 7th day Sabbath. yet again, he (sam) is speaking contrary It. no logic in that thought pattern, gerry.
@@tony1685 Did our Creator only rest on the 7th day, and then begin his work of creation again on the first day? Or did he continue to rest on the 1st day, 2nd day, 3rd day etc. Your points and arguments clearly highlight your ignorance of scripture in its totality. For if the 7th day was Gods rest and a rest in which all Christians should commemorate and obey by keeping it, then why would Paul in Hebrews 4:9-10 talk about another rest for us believers, and that we all should strive to participate in THAT rest, the same rest God experienced when he ceased from all his works. God rested from all his works and his rest has not ended since the 7th day from creation. (as shown in the context of Hebrews 4) Therefore, my challenge to you is this; prove to me from scripture that God rested on the 7th day and then began his work on the first day, hence showing that God ONLY keeps the 7th day Holy. If you can, I will become a Sabbatarian again, God be my witness. (p.s. you cant lol)
@@tony1685 my response was to John Ericho's post-... and had to do with lacking substantiation. I believe that the Bible is very clear about the Sabbath. thanks for the mentioned bible texts. I think it is very Biblical to ask for things to be substantiated from Scripture. that was what I missed in John's response. I missed what you don't find logical in my thought pattern. I have not gone into whether or not or whether or not I think Sam's reasoning is correct in terms of his explanation of the Sabbath. let's follow the logical patterns here too. I completely agree with you that truth is important. and it is important to substantiate this. I don't recognize that Sam is doing everything he can to confuse people and I think he is doing his best to get people out of confusion. If he is wrong about something, it is important to substantiate this. if you think he is consciously misleading people then that would go further than simply doing our best to research the Scriptures and learn FROM EACH OTHER. partly due to unsubstantiated and not due to wildly unsubstantiated accusations. In my opinion, asking to substantiate something is not an illogical thought pattern. especially when someone makes such an accusation about someone And in the post of John there wasn't even said if he was for or against believing in sjabbat. Only that it has to do with that subject

There are two questions here. These texts don't mention anything about the Sabbath Commandment being made void. That the Sabbath belonged to the Jews. They merely cite that the Sabbath was still the Sabbath in 70AD. The discord goes to show that Jesus is the LORD of the Sabbath, it starts saying the opposite of what Sam is arguing:
Matthew 23
:1 Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,
:2 Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:
:3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.
@watchman2866 . Sam can only fool the fool like him. A prided person never be with God. Maybe one day, he'll get punished by God.

For thus saith the LORD unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant; Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;’

People believe what they want to believe because they want the "easy way."
Do what you want, people, but don't complain after.

Wow, how deceiving is this teaching, I feel for Sam and this youngster.
Jesus - the Lord of the Sabbath (Matthew 12:8; Mark 2:28; Luke 6:5) - was not instituting the Sabbath in Matthew 24:20. It had already existed since Genesis 2:23-24. In Matthew 24:15-20, when told his disciples to pray that, when they see the abomination of desolation standing in the holy place, their flight not be on a Sabbath, he was expressing his expectation that his followers - who are being grafted into Israel (Romans 11:17-24) - would continue to observe the Sabbath till the end times.0
The Sabbath is a blessing. Enjoy it as a day of rest and maintain regular church attendance:
*Hebrews :10:23-25*
_Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful; and let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near._
a clear reference to the 'holy convocation' that is integral to sabbath observance (Leviticus 23:3).

It is simply a day of rest at the end of the week after 6 days work.
It's like a weekly date with the One you love, working on a relationship and at the same time, resting and doing well for others.
sure -- there are people on both sides who are radical or extremists -- but isn't it better to be extreme for Jesus -- the One who gave all?
i fail to see how the _'whole context of the message of Messiah'_ is lost, when we focus on showing Him love -- John 14:15

No Change Documented in the Bible
Not only was Jesus a perfect example in observing the weekly seventh-day Sabbath, but all His disciples followed the same pattern after Jesus had gone back to heaven.
Wow. Amazing exposition.

The weekly Sabbath was not about things to come as it wasn;t pointing forward but points us BACK TO THE CEATION and begins with the word REMENMBER as in Remember what happened on the first week of Creation to celebrate it by KEEPING THE SABBATH HOLY!

Why Jesus Burial Observed sabbath

He literally explained it with proof you fool
Ain’t no one gonna care about what I write but I’ve found that it’s clear that the sabbath is fulfilled in Christ. He never repeats to keep the sabbath day. He says Love God with all your heart etc and love your neighbor as yourself. He demonstrated that the purpose of the sabbath was more than a day to not do work on. Yes, the Ten Commandments are still said to be binding upon a Christian. If Christ is the new sabbath, Just as he is the new law, Just as he is the new convenant Then he is the rest. The day is Christ.
Right
Love God and love your Neighbor as yourself is to keep the Ten Commandments. The first 4 is about God, and the remaining 6 is about our love for mankind.
Christ is our rest from sin, but he isn’t our Sabbath. The Sabbath was MADE for me, Christ was never MADE he is before all things.
Acts 13:42-44
Revelation 22:14

Keeping the Sabbath is related to receiving this grace of salvation as the Sabbath is one of the commandments of the Lord.

2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.

Sam is absolutely wrong regarding the Sabbath! This exposes Sam’s understanding of scripture! He comes across as
knowledgeable but is actually arrogant mostly!
"FROM EVOLUTIONIST TO CREATIONIST "BY PASTOR/PROF WALTER VEITH POWERFUL TRUE STORY ❤
God said “Remember” because He knew people would eventually forget. But there is no debate as to which day is the Sabbath of the Fourth Commandment: that is Saturday or more appropriately from Friday sundown to Saturday sundown. This fact is undisputed by most Christian scholars today.
Galatians 2:16
“Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.”
Romans 10:4
“For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.”
Romans 4:15
“Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression.”
Romans 5:13
“(For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.”
Romans 7:6
“But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.”
Law of sin and death is not Gods law I think you missed the context or have been misled.
And the evidence of the Holy Spirit are by the fruit of The Holy Spirit of GOD.❤
Much Love to Jesus and To his father and to our Father❤.
God bless.
Wow, what a way to bring it together and give a very good message

Sorry Sam...but your interpretation doesn't fly. Before 70 AD was not the end of the world. They were not fulfilled then. Jesus was saying that THIS generation that is LIVING at the TIME OF THE END, would see these things fulfilled. He also said that there would be NO sign to the present wicked and adulterous generation to be given, EXCEPT the sign of the prophet Jonah (Matthew 16:4). The high priest mentioned in Matthew 26:64 by Jesus, will see him when he returns at his second coming. Revelation 1:7 says: "...every eye will SEE HIM..." This is an eye opening explanation to me
I've listened to quite a few of your teaching And believe that you were the best But I firmly believe that you are wrong about the Sabbath
Jesus wants the people to pray that the invaders do not come on the Sabbath day when they are less prepared due to religious activities

(Gen. 2:3). You can do what you want with those other days, but don’t call those days the “Sabbath.” That’s unscriptural and furthermore, we are told … “Do not add to his words, lest he rebuke you and you be found a liar.” (Proverbs 30:6).
For which is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifies the gift?” It can be said by using substitute words, “For which is greater, the Sabbath, or God that sanctifies the Sabbath?”
It was God Himself that sanctified the 7th day and no other day. It was considered
“holy” because He Himself rested from His act of creation and set the pattern for mankind to follow. It’s like a tithe. We take one day out of the week and give it to God and rest PHYSICALLY and not do our own desires but reflect totally on Him, his creation, His Word etc. and not be dictated by the tyranny of “work.” Yes, Yehshua gives us rest, but the scripture says, “rest for your “SOULS.” God said, “If you turn back your foot from the Sabbath,
from doing your pleasure on my holy day,
and call the Sabbath a delight
and the holy day of the LORD honorable;
if you honor it, not going your own ways,
or seeking your own pleasure,d or talking idly;
then you shall take delight in the LORD,
and I will make you ride on the heights of the earth;f
I will feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father,
for the mouth of the LORD has spoken.” (Isa. 58:13,14).
You can do whatever you desire on those other days, but don’t call them the Sabbath because it’s unscriptural. And The Word says, “Do not add to his words,
lest he rebuke you and you be found a liar.” (Proverbs 30:6)

Letter to the Magnasians
9 Those, then, who lived by ancient practices arrived at a new hope.

If you feel attacked, then just know you have issues with your doctrine!
EASIEST WAYS OF IDENTIFYING FALSE DOCTRINES AND CULTS!
1. If they say they are the only ones who know God!
(A perfect example is the Sadducees and pharisees; they thought they were the only ones who knew how to follow the laws)
2. If they preach that salvation is gained by ones works
(We are saved by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ, and not by our works)
3. If they judge others.
4. If they don't teach that Jesus is God.
(Jesus Christ is eternal, He is the Alpha and Omega, beginning and the end, the first and the last)
5. If their foundation is not okay.
(Check the history of your church or congregation, if the founders messed up somewhere, then just know that there is a problem even with the present)
6. If they teach that to follow Jesus Christ there are some steps that you need to follow (e.g reading books or doing something)
(Remember Jesus said He is the way, the truth and the light, and no one can go to the Father without passing through Him).
Thus, the only thing you need is the Holy Spirit to understand the Bible, and not any other book; just know that you are reading the Bible with men's doctrines if you use a book to understand it)
Thanks!
Thank you!

WHY ARE YOU LYING?
Preception of truth comes from the knowledge of truth. That is as faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word/ Logos of God, thru scripture and confirmed in his creation. Now, the question of what is truth is a fallacy without faith in the Word, not just words. The words/ scriptures are the medium used to witness the Word Christ Jesus, to recognize him as THEE truth; and his own fulfillment of it and all he required in the law and prophets. Without faith it is impossible to please God.

So the Israel of the OT was a false Israel?
@@hughwatt7859 which Israel? The nation, the people, or the faithful to God? The only one that matters as far as the NT is concerned is the faithful, ie. the church.
I enjoy Sam's videos....but I dont agree on the Sabbath. Jesus was present at creation... referred to Aleph Tav. Why would the Sabbath be changed?
"The one who says he stays in Him ought himself also to walk, even as He walked." (1Jn 2:6)
The Law is described as "good, and righteous and holy" by Paul (Rom 7:12) and "perfect' by James:
"But whoever looks into the PERFECT LAW of LIBERTY and continues in it, he is not a forgetful hearer, but a DOER of the work. This one shall be BLESSED in his doing." (Jas 1:25)
And I'm not an SDA.
You perfectly said by believing in Christ not the Sabbath and that is the new covenant,we can't be Jewish at the same time Christian
I'm still trying to understand why Jesus would even mention the sabbath if they wouldn't have been keeping the sabbath during that time of tribulation.
the Sabbath must be kept today as we will keep it in heaven..Isaiah 65.23
Or…….you could just point to Colossians 2:16
You can. But sabbatharians like SDAs have been using Matthew 24:20 lately.
Paul is referring to the ceremonial sabbaths here, not the seventh day sabbath
Paul is referring to the ceremonial sabbaths here, not the seventh day sabbath
Why do you think the "end of the age" refers to the end of the world, and not the end of the Second Temple age?
I agree. The words End of Age are used in Matthew multiple times. Ultimately leading up to Matthew 28.
Matthew 28:16-20 CSB
[16] The eleven disciples traveled to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had directed them. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
So we can take End of age as the end of the second temple.. but we would have to incorporate this with the context of Chapter 28 as well. Would Jesus only be with the disciples leading up until 70 AD? Also if he was to only be with the 11, and not the newfound disciples, that would mean Jesus is not with anyone who is a current believer because it stopped in 70AD due to this interpretation.
If we take the context of Matthew 24. It says Matthew 24:3-5 CSB
[3] While he was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples approached him privately and said, “Tell us, when will these things happen?
As in Matthew 7:20 it states "Therefore by their fruits you will know them."
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
In the Greek New Testament in Hebrews 4-9 it says that still a sabbatismos for his people if dies in the New Testament that includes us
Their whole known world? I was born in Japan and the history doesn’t show Jesus preached here during the time frame of the 70 AD.
The whole world known to them, of course.
James Cardinal Gibbon's
Arch Bishop of Baltimore
In his book " Faith of our fathers"
Plainly states that it was the Catholic Church that enforces Sunday sabbath keeping on page 96 or 98

Yes there was. You have to learn the cultural context behind the terms “Heaven & Earth”
@@BanahIsrael So what is the meaning of a New Heaven and a new EARTH? Go ahead!
And because of following JC one should put the laws of the Mosthigh God aside right?
Matthew 5 v 17
Jesus Christ explained everything in this scripture and verse and the reason why there's confusion and misunderstanding its because of the truth which is being ignored to save religions of men which Christ never came here for; sadly that won't happen, for the TRUTH has been delivered to all saints and nations will hear that truth and no man will stop it.

Sam is so firm on the Sabbath issue that he is stubborn and do anything to confuse the bibles clear messages.
_'If you love Me, keep My Commandments.'_ -- John 14:15
i believe it's crystal clear.
@@gerryveenendaal796 our Creator is crystal clear about His 7th day -- Ex 20:8-11

no logic in that thought pattern, gerry.
In my opinion, asking to substantiate something is not an illogical thought pattern. especially when someone makes such an accusation about someone
And in the post of John there wasn't even said if he was for or against believing in sjabbat. Only that it has to do with that subject
