- Hansruedi Giger achieved international fame with his fantastically realistic pictures and sculptures and the Oscar-winning design of extraterrestrial film monsters ("Alien"). Giger lived and worked in Seebach until his death in 2014. HR Giger populated his garden with a multitude of biomechanoid figures and sculptures, which merge with the wild vegetation to a dreamlike total work of art.
HR GIGER's wish was to leave the garden exactly as it was after his death.
Former assistant Tom Gabriel Fischer, founding member of the metal band Celtic Frost, for whom HR Giger designed a record cover as early as 1985, leads through the Gigergarten.
Thank you very much, Tom Gabriel Fischer, for the guidance and permission to show this garden in this short documentary.

I saw many sculptures and drawings in the HR Giger Museum at Gruyeres but this "free" sculptures in this garden made an interesting scenery. To complete this, the amazing Shiso's point of view and music. Greetings from Brazil!

Hello my friend. What a coincidence... I just visited your channel earlier today to look for new videos, and there was nothing at the time, but now you juuust uploaded. I am very familiar with H.R. Giger, I am the happy owner of a book, going through many his designs, including that one of Aliens. I really like his visuals impressions - great imagination. So, essentially, I salute you for this video, it was much fun and interesting to watch. Thanks very much Shiso. ^^

Thank you Thomas. Interestingly, Giger is less known in Switzerland than abroad. But that is often the fate of the artist. After all, the wish was granted to leave the garden as it was after his death and his wife continues to live in the house.

Hallo Shiso, das ist wohl nicht der Garten meiner Träume. ;o) Trotzdem gruselig interessant. Der Zahn der Zeit tut sein Übriges, um das noch wilder aussehen zu lassen. Da geht der Daumen Nr. 14 hoch! Gruß Andreas :o)

T thích những pho tượng đó , nhìn cũ kỹ quá , bị bỏ trong vườn lâu quá rồi phải không bạn ? Có những tượng rất đẹp . Nhưng dãy tượng những em bé thì hơi ghê ghê , ghê như khung xương người ! 🙂

What's the exact address of this house in Seebach? do they allow visitors?
The H.R Giger Foundation is managed by his widow, who still lives in the house. there are special tours as it is a private house.
@@ShisoProductions Do you know how can I contact her for a tour? I'm here in Zurich for a month and very close to the area but I don't know the address or how to contact her
Unfortunately I have no idea because it was arranged by the Zürich city community…
