Hello, are you cutting Mylar with this or is this a special type of cricut material for stencils ? I want to create some stencils for painting in my canvas work but I’m not sure which material the machine cuts out. Thank you for the very useful video.
This is the second video of yours that I watched. I only watched a couple of minutes of this one because I struggled through trying to hear what you are saying over the music. It was so distracting and made it difficult to hear what you are saying. I saw the comments on the other video I watched where people tried to give you feedback about not having music and I agree with them. The music adds nothing to the video, makes it irritating to try to hear you. Your response was that you are going to have music anyway. Well it is your channel and you can do what you want, but like some of the other people said, I won't be subscribing. Too bad, I probably would have enjoyed it...
I have tried everything to make a stencil. I have a cricut explorer. No matter what setting I use, my stencil does not cut through to the back. I even used a deep cut blade. I tried with stencil film and also with 7 ml mylar. Any tips would be greatly appreciated
I recently got a Cricut explore 3. I use 7.5 mil Mylar and use the Mylar setting with more pressure and 3 passes. You can edit the settings for the Mylar so that it will always do 3 passes. You shouldn’t need a deep cut blade.
back ground noise can be a painful thing for people like me who are very sensitive to sounds. It is so much better to just play your video and leave out the extra distractions and noises. Most people are not aware of how difficult it is for a lot of people who suffer from this issue. I cannot even listen to most videos because of additional noises. Just trying to bring awareness of this issue for video makers.
Excellent video! Thank you for sharing your skills and passion with us! ❤❤❤👍
You're welcome!
Great video
I'm enjoying making stencils for silk screening 😂❤
Next going to try for painting
Thank you
I haven't done silk screening in many years. Sounds like fun.

It's a Craft plastic. I get it on Amazon. 12" x 12", 25 Pack | amzn.to/3nM3niL

Do you think the cricut joy cut 0.010 or is 0.007 is the thickest that the joy can cut ?
I’m not sure. Anything thicker than .007 probably won’t work. The other models have deep cut blades.
Please don’t mind .007 thick to 7 mils are same?
Yes. 7 mil= 0.007 inches. Just don't mistake mils for millimeters. It is a unit of measurement like millimeters, centimeters or inches.
The background music really IS distracting for an otherwise informative video. Muting the sound and enabling subtitles makes it watchable.

😊
The background noise is distracting and annoying
Sorry
