The first episode shows exactly why Anakin wasn’t granted the rank of Master
I don't see why this arc wasn't added into the final season they could easily have put it in.
I agree. I'm half convinced that Obi-Wan abstained during Ahsoka's trial. While he may have believed in her innocence, there wasn't enough evidence to prove it. He had precedence given what happened when Satine came to Coruscant to assert Mandalore's neutrality, but someone edited the Prime Minister's message. He would have wanted to have more time to conduct a more thorough investigation.
Probably in tales of the jedi
This could’ve been part of season 7 giving us 16 episodes and the story order would be Crystal Crisis On Utapau Ahsoka’s Walkabout then The Bad Batch and then of course The Siege Of Mandalore
@@Code1Lyoko Definitely agree. Should have occurred after Ahsoka leaves Coriscant.
@@ytafan4068 no I mean Crystal Crisis arc comes before Ahsoka’s Walkabout
Somehow it being unfinished makes it immensely funnier
cause it looks like one of those dank videos without the computerized voice overs
it makes it like a million times funnier
@@Traysuke You mean a Pamtri video?
I get it. I wish we saw it finished but somehow watching this in its unfinished state makes me laugh.
The story is great but I was laughing when Anakin and Obi-Wan were moving and they were just sliding on the ground 😂🤣

Such an important arc especially in terms of Anakin & Obi-Wans relationship. They are dumb for not just adding this to season 7.

Man, as technology gets better and better each year, I have a gut feeling the fans will get a team together someday and finish this entire Arc in its deserved entirety.
I fucking hope man. You see what fans can do with the yet-to-be-released fan animation Tukk Tales, which looks just as good as CW S7/Bad Batch/Tales of the Jedi
@@calebcustombricks2631 Exactly man. Especially with Hello There Animation’s Anakin VS Obi-Wan CW styled video that’s SUPPOSEDLY to be coming out in December which is honestly one of my hyped for Fan projects along with Tukk Tales. If the fans were to indeed complete the Crystal Crisis arc in its entirety though, I’d see a struggle with voice actors but I would assume they would already have that covered. Unless Matt Lanter, James Arnold Taylor or even Matthew Wood wants to voice lines but I feel like sadly that would unfortunately be out of the fans jurisdiction because of Disney.
@@Mark-ek8md we already have all of the voice lines and sound though... only thing to finish is the animation
@@calebcustombricks2631 Ah, wasn’t even thinking about that, LOL. Honestly with a little tweaking around with the lines that were all said here it should come out perfectly.
The dub is done. The animation need to be fixed and it would be done.
This perfectly encapsulates the pristine quality of Matt Lanter's and James Arnold Taylor's performances! I nearly forgot that these were unfinished. It's a solid arc filled with miniature nods to the original trilogy. It's a shame it never made it to season, but I am more than grateful I had the opportunity to watch what could have been here. After all, it's the story that matters most!
Stereotypes
Never forget that these and every other episode was uncaringly left unfinished. What we could’ve gotten looks much better than what we were given.
Altho they're unfinished, it's still really good in general. This is a perfect example of why the story should come first. It does look a bit uncanny with ripped open shoulders and speaking with no facial expressions, but it can easily get the message across.
29:40 Oh my god we finally know which button turns the saber on. My entire life I thought it was the rectangular one near the bottom. The fact this arc was scrapped is outrageous, it's unfair!

But then Rey messes it up and pushes the big twisty knob on the other side to turn it on smh 🤦♂️

@user-pi1vx4ee8m I said, now I know.
Thanks
I feel like Disney could Frankenstein an “8th season” with the amount of clone wars arcs that are partially animated but not complete and still manage to get like 10 more episodes out of it
And it doesn’t really matter that the show “ended” because they can make it an anthology still
wasnt there an arc where they went to another ocean planet but on the surface the inhabitants looked like they lived in huts on water? sort of like a build your own surface area?
@@brandonreyes2417 I remember hearing about some sort of ocean planet arc but idk about the huts, I know there’s at least like 8 arcs unfinished, im dying to see the cad bane and boba arc
Well it is an anthology series
I still remember when season 6 was referred to as the “Lost Missions” as if they were extra stories. They could totally do that again.
Thank you for having the full arc, i genuinely wish this was finished and put into the final season of the clone wars, it puts that last little bit of layer on the cake that is the relationship between anakin and obi wan their brotherhood the fact that they dont always agree on things but they work it out and they love eachother the small dark moments that anakin has throughout it, his as well as the fact that anakin still misses ahsoka. i loved this arc
Hopefully it will be finished one day
They could have put it in the final season. It would have been less filler than the Ahsoka arc and it would have been a progression of their characters. Like Anakin in this arc is a perfect balance of him from Clone Wars and ROTS, it also sets up his surprise and excitement when he meets her again
This arc definitely would’ve fixed one of my biggest problems with the later seasons on the Clone Wars, that being a severe lack of Grievous. Seasons 1 and 2 basically had Grievous as the main villain, 3 and 5 gave him a few moments to shine, 4 only gave him one episode, but it was him eradicating the Nightsisters so it was just as good. But then season 6 just completely shoved him to the side, I don’t even think he was mentioned in season 6. It definitely would’ve been nice to give Grievous one last arc since the later season are literally supposed to build up to Revenge of the Sith
@@buckethead60 the ashoka and sisters arc was such a bad arc so yea this would be much better
I was hoping for more Ani and Obi moments in the clone wars final season
Music during the ending credits has been muted so the video can be viewed everywhere. Its the same as always, sorry for the inconvenience.
Try renaming it to something else, the distortion of the text can help in keeping Disney away from this video, giving it less attention but also prolonging it's existence.

35:30 "That's no mound, that's a spaceship"
38:40 "I don't think any of these are the weapons we're looking for"
45:19 "Hello there"
1:15:04 "This weapon is your life"

its almost comical how grevious move out of the way every time anakin turns his head
@hyperion447 now that I think about it, he can only never see him in person.
Given that Anakin and Grievous don’t meet face to face, until ‘Revenge of the Sith’. It seems kinda taboo for Anakin to get even a glimpse of him.
Sidious made sure they never met.
Anakin with blasters?
Would have loved to see this instead of the martez sister arc
and him choosing to use two blasters like his captain, icing on the cake

I would've absolutely loved to have seen this in season 7. There's so many fun references, and the banter is better in this arc, than any other in the series. It's got a lot of fun moments and action, but the serious moments really hit. Grievous is better here than any other episode in the series, except for maybe Grievous Intrigue. Only the Mortis arc tops it in my list of favorites
Man, it would be amazing if they could make something like 'Clone Wars: Beyond' where they complete all the stories Dave and crew were working on before the cancellation like this, son of dathomir, Dark Disciple, Boba and Bane, etc...

Incredible. Such an amazing arc one best in the entire clone wars series. Loved the conversation about Ashoka and banter between Anakin and Obi-Wan. It's so awesome how this arc ties it to rebels and rouge one with the giant kyber crystal and how it for shadows the creation of the death star. I'm so annoyed this was never part of season 7. Hopefully one day it's finished along with all the other unfinished episodes and released on Disney plus.
Every line of dialogue between Anakin and Obi Wan is pure gold
God I love how this all foreshadows how they were able to make the Death Star's weapon of mass destruction.
And you always gotta love the KOTOR reference at the end when Yoda mentions weapons of mass destruction based off of "legends."
Fascinating, also was that James Hong as the voice of the little guy talking with Dooku?
This was back before the term Legends was coined though.
It's in Son of Dathomir, the main Khyber Crystal came from Dathomir

Brooo Anakin saying boo to the battle droid was hilarious!!!
Given the recent fan animations that have been going on, it’s very possible for someone and a team to finish making these where the original team stopped, then we would have a good amount of more clone wars content to watch!
Man, sitting down watching this while eating dinner feels like the good old days when I did the same thing. Even though the animation is unfinished the vibes were the same so it felt like I never left.
Something my film teacher from high school taught me that still rings true. Poor video quality can be forgiven. However poor audio quality cannot. The audio is finished so this can actually be somewhat enjoyed as a final product.
Wow, it’s a bummer this was never finished. In addition to providing more context to Obi-WAN’s time on Utapau in RotS, that great moment where Anakin and Obi-Wan set a precedent for not talking about Ahsoka makes her absence from RotS less strange. It also ties into that Rebels episode with Saw and the giant crystal. What a good arc!

@@nerdsw2197 that's so typical Disney behaviour. like if they were in it for the money maybe they shouldn't have wasted money, talent, skill and time (of the animators and everyone) on the Martez arc but instead finished these...
1:23:21 same sound effect and “laser + delayed explosion” effect as the Death Star II firing in Episode VI. My favorite detail/callback in this arc.
I like how it displays Anakin getting progressively aggressive and reckless.
This was amazing and the banter was hilarious. I just don't see why they want to run away from Grievous so much. They had a prime opportunity to fight him 2 on 1 and Obi always keeps up with him. The two of them together could easily have beat him.
thanks to some dialogues in the revenge of the sith that could not be
They have to preserve the first meeting of Anakin and grievous to ROTS. So that means dodging and running.
Wow, this episode is awesome, awesome, awesome! I REALLY wished they finished it. It has some key dialogue that gives insight into Obi-wan and Anakin's relationship and how Anakin is processing his attachment to Ashoka. Super super cool it is, this tidbit of star wars lore.
The thing I love the most about this unfinished animation is that you can see which parts received the focus and which were neglected. Going from stilted and near non-existent animation to fluid and dynamic scenes is just honesty cool.
It's neat to see what goes on behind the scenes.
We need to get Disney to publish and finish the non completed episodes
It’s literally some of the best obi wan/Anakin content.
Man season 7 and the what could have been season 8, would have made the Clone Wars show legit FAR better than it already is.
1:12:08 that was un called for. Poor droid gave the saber back and he still killed it.
He really was Vader there
40:20 I say is my favorite scene. Seeing Anakin with 2 Blasters goes to show that 501st Spirit. Captain Rex probably showed Anakin a few tips & tricks about blasters. A nice touch of detail
Never thought I'd be able to watch the entire thing but i just love TCW so much
out of everything, i can't believe the conversation at 25:00 wasn't kept in the show. this was always the talk obi and anakin NEEDED to have. there was never any closure for them when ahsoka left, and it's tearing anakin apart! he feels betrayed and disappointed by her, but deep down he knows the jedi are hypocrites and they tried to get rid of ahsoka out of fear and retribution. obiwan feels all the same things, but knows he has to be the strong mentor figure and try to maintain hope that the jedi haven't lost their way (spoilers: they have)
I hope that one day a sorta Clone wars specials would be made and streamed on Disney+. Although, that is, sadly, unlikely
It’s POs dad from king fu panda for anyone wondering who the voice actor is

1:21:00 this is the closes Anakin and Grievous got to meeting before Episode 3. This and the Naboo arc.
That was amazing! What an amazing arc! I love when Anakin and Obi-wan work together on missions. I love the verbal jabs they throw at each other. I guess I'm just a fan girl at heart. ❤
I hate Disney even more now for cancelling the show because this is SW at its peak. The writing is awesome, the dialogue is insanely good and has lots of nice references, they still managed to put good humor in it, the worldbuilding for Utapau is amazing and better than everything that came from Disney and most importantly, Grievous is a menace in this arc. There was no reason to cut this from the final season, but I guess there werent enough women in this for Disney. At least they wont tamper with it like the BB arc.
Grievous was a threat before, at least he's just an experienced tactician and not the best fighter who is stronger than all the Jedi, there are villains who are stronger than you, but there are those Jedi who are stronger than you
after all, Grievous showed good achievements, they just weren’t revealed so well
Dude I was with you in the first half. Why did you have to make it weird D:
@@floofylunafox What is weird about it?
@@GreenNinj4 The women part. We were all with you until the weird women part
@@sambreyer7344 Ah ok, but why is that weird though? Looking at the sequels, Kathleen Kennedy did not care to find a director or to have a plan, but only cared about the main character being a woman. Or look at the acolyte, the first thing they said about this show was that it is female centric. Or the Rey movie director who said that activism is more important to her than storytelling and that she likes making men feel uncomfortable. Its a fact that Disney set their priorities on activism instead of storytelling, so is it really „weird“ to think they cut this arc because it didn’t have enough women characters?
1:06:56 I love these unhinged moments of excessive destruction in the clone wars lmao

35:00-41:00 is probably my favourite out of all of tcl. The whole sequence is pure comedy gold, but somehow also managed to be very in tune with the 'anakin showing more dark side' and 'obi wan has constant tension with him' plot that we saw in the movies, except this time it's not unbearably cringe and whiny. Still can't say I love the hot-headed and irrational part of Anakin's personality but this is at least not straight-up annoying. Absolutely brilliant writing imo. Sad this will never be finished but glad I got to know the story!

So the huge Crystal is supposed to be for the Death Star?
Dude, I just love foreshadowing they're doing. It ties in to Episode 2, where Dooku is shown the Death Star plans by the Geonosians. Grievous buying up large sized cyber crystals implies the CIS planned on building a Death Star by themselves. Or at least Palpatine planned ahead on using the Death Star during the Empire and already aquired materials for it during the Clone Wars.
Thank you for the video! Been wanting to watch these for awhile! Love the clone wars! Good episodes even though incomplete, good example of how a good storyline matters.

Can’t believe we only got the Bad Batch, Ahsoka’s, and the Siege Of Mandalor arcs in season 7. Would’ve loved to see the other 3 arcs. But the three we got are great ones to end the series on
Ahsoka's 4-episode arc is like a cheap filler for worse than Rebels. 1 episode or didn’t air at all, after all, this is an arc they should add instead of the crap that they only made worse

The fact this wasn't finished is a sin
I don’t get why we got the Martez Arc which was “a long story and not really relevant” when this arc would’ve added so much extra context to the Utapau scenes in ROTS.
Could you imagine S7 if they had the existing episodes along with this arc plus the Ventress Arc?
No. if they made a continuation of 7 seasons, I would present them like this
1-4 are the same episodes as 7 seasons with better clones and Echo's objection
5-8 son of Dathomir
9-12 is the arc with Krystal and the development of Anakin and Grievous
13-15 (I saw there was a cameo with Revan and something like that, this arch fit)
and finally
16-20 from the siege of Mandalore 1 episode about Ahsoka’s travels just not this kid but something original, perhaps a battle with rations and of course further as in season 7
All. I think the story of Ventress and the headhunters is interesting but they were made by their own alternative histories
