I put a lot into this, and I'm really excited to share this with you.

Probably the prettiest looking film you've made.

I'm always surprised by how much emotion/storytelling you can get out of lego.
This is so great! The non-linear storytelling works so well here. I was never confused. The story is well-scripted and unique. The animation and set design is absolutely stunning as well as atmospheric. I must confess, I got the feels a little bit which is rare for a brickfilm. Stupendous job, my friend. The hard work well paid off.

This is fantastic!
Why you gotta make me cry like that...
No but seriously, this film did not disappoint. The sets were immaculate and the story was well put together. The characters were easy to follow along with and conveyed real emotion. Well done. 👏👏👏
Incredible, I feel guilty watching this for free! The cinematography is not only beautiful, but also tells the story visually in such creative ways.
Wow! It's impressive what you've managed to craft here. Lots of interesting lighting in this that sets such a particular mood. Among my favourites would be the scene of the bright morning after rain. I'm glad that you finished this!

Never thought a brick-film would make me shed a single tear by the end. 11/10
This was indeed very pretty as well as the top notch animation. The lighting was superb as well, not the mention the plot. Well done and keep up the awesome work!
The story for the brick film is amazing, and the dedication to complete this is inspiring. Love the cinematography. This is incredibly underrated when there are people making 10-second shorts getting hundreds of thousands of views and this goes under the youtube radar.
Wow that was impressive! The lighting the sets the animation the story just everything was amazing!
truly fantastic rio, the moods/tones throughout were so well defined and could really be felt, something that you are consistently astounding at
I can't believe you don't have more subscribers, this animation was professional quality! Amazing job!
This is cinematic gold. Keep up the great work!
I appreciate the compliment!

10/10 brickfilm
I love the dramatic atmosphere you manage to create and the emotions that come out. Really a great brickfilm!
That’s a long time time for one project, but I can tell it was worth it. Usually I have a hard time watching longer brickfilms but this felt so effortless to watch and was really captivating. Nice work!
5:40-5:45 my lord what a shot! This was great! Absolutely loved it. Emotional and well animated! Great job!
Beautiful lighting and the rain looks amazing
wow, this was excellent. The music choices really made the film come alive and the sound design and scapes. the flashbacks truly felt glorious. like the good old days. The green of the grass and the chirping of the birds. Really liked this. Some impressive sets as well. one of my favorites was a shot of the forest as she rode away. It has a really nice style to it the whole film. Truly a film worthy to be seen. Thank you for finishing this!
yoooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!! dis is cool man, great job rio!!!
This is incredibly fantastic. The music fits excellently. The sets were fantastic, the story was great, animation top notch everything about this film is great.
What a beautiful brick film...!
Truly amazing. The cinematography was really great, so many beautiful shots. The grave shot was my favorite. Your hard work definitely paid off
Thanks! The grave shot is also one of my top favorites.
Just when I thought you couldn't get any better than the Ninjago Jungle series. This was pretty epic! Good job! Glad to see that it's finally finished!
Hey
Lol is that the standard I’m held to now
I am very impressed and inspired by your commitment to this project. 100% worth it, the cinematography alone is stunning!
Finally got around to watcing this, a fantastic film all around. It's just stunning to look at, well-animated, and seeing 2 of Lego's most popular knight characters in it made me smile. Well done!
Darn it, I got goosebumps. I am not supposed to be touched by little toys. Good Job. It took me awhile to see it and am very glad I did!
That was fantastic! I look forward to the behind the scenes video.
a beautifully crafted masterpiece.
Amazing video! I wish i saw this earlier
Awesome brickfilm. I grew up on Knights Kingdom and Princess Storm was one of my favorite Lego characters. Makes me wish there were more tough women in castle themes. I mean, we got Macy in Nexo Knights but still...
This is absolutely beautiful! The animation, set design, lighting, cinematography, voices and of coarse the amazing story! The love and anger between Storm and her father and how even though they argue a lot you see there reasons for why is incredibly well done. And the way we see storm try to do everything to save Duke while her father tries to keep her safe in fear that he'll lose her is magnificent! I'm glad you decided to finish this project! Amazing job!
yeah this is an instant classic, absolutely gorgeous film with a beautiful score and a boatload of heart, Bravo!
love it! great story telling and lighting!
this film grate the lighting is rely good and the story rely rely good, nothing you make has ever been anything less than breathtaking grate job.
Soli Deo Gloria. That was incredible Rio! I was very blessed watching this. It was perfectly executed and is by far the best project you’ve finished to date. The lighting, sound design, sets...not to mention the screenplay. Wow. God has given you incredible talents and I’m so looking forward to how He continues to use them!! Great work my friend!
Excellent! 👍
incredible
This is it, you have peaked.
Lol I’ll take that as a compliment but I hope i keep going up from here!
So awesome to see this completed! It was a long road but you got there. Congratulations!
epic
This truely is amazing! Great work!
Woah! Didn't realize this was gonna be an epic movie! This was awesome man! The lighting was beautiful, and the shot choice was just amazing. Your cinematography is always the most beautiful, but this is next level my man. This is an instant classic, right up next the The Cleaners.
Absolutely amazing. Everything is incredible. The voice acting is stunning. Keep up the amazing work.
Thank you! I agree, my voice actors did an excellent job.
just wow!
That was great!
Great lighting and framing! i really enjoyed it!
Woah what an amazing animation! Huge congratulations!
Fantastic job! Love the cinematography and animation. The handwriting at 03:23 is pretty cool
Dang, dang, dang, dang! That was such a beautiful film! So we’ll paced and with vibrant animation! That’s the first time in a long while that I felt I was a kid again. I could feel that magic of watching a brickfilm that just inspires you to make your own animations. Wow rio I’m speechless!
Wow thank you! I’m so glad I was able to give you that feeling. It means a lot to me. :)
Perfection
Gorgeous! Love all the flicker from the flames. And your small gestures are so human-like! I especially loved the wiping of the tear
Exquisite
Wow this is a pretty looking film
What an incredibly impactful way to tell a story! The lighting and detailed atmosphere, those beautiful, intimate closeups, and the building up of those flashback sequences all lend themselves to a really emotional and dynamic way to tell this story. This was DAMN good and I’m glad you stuck with the project for so long and put so much effort into it, because this final product is really quite amazing!
Thank you! I’m also glad I stuck with it haha
AMAZING🔥🔥🔥
This animation is absolutely beautiful.
God bless you rio.
I like how you did the rain in the stop motion
After all that blood sweat and tears its finally done and I must say this is some of your finest work!
That was a masterpiece! I can't imagine how difficult this had to be to put together. The atmospheres were so good, and I loved how you incorporated miniatures such as the castles into it. Top notch quality!
Dang bro, incredible. How do u make ur videos so atmospheric, as in almost foggy? I live how it looks.
Some of it is the lens (one of my lenses has fungus on it, the others don’t have any anti-glare filters because they’re antique), and some of it can be chalked up to special effects. I’m glad you enjoyed it!
The voice acting is so good, the cinematography is beautiful and the animation is amazing! Outstanding film!
You never cease to amaze, Rio!
Can we just appreciate how well done this is and just the time and effort put into it
Wow Rio. I was blown away. That was a beautiful film. It made a truly emotional impact on me. Everything was outstanding, the cinematography, sets, voice acting, music. Wow. This is the kind of film that makes me remember why I started brickfilming in the first place. To take people on a ride and make a film resonate with them. Great work!
Wow very high praise! Thank you! I love hearing that my films inspire you. :)
How did I manage to miss this when it came out? It looks amazing! Your blender vfx is seamless when mixed with your practical stuff!
Beautiful video
Phenomenal! Such a visually stunning piece of work. The scenes in the forest were like eye candy.
Fantastic work!
Wow! That was amazing! What a project! I like all the different classical music you included. I particularly liked the scene with Albinoni's Adagio. You definitely need more subs! You got a sub from me! :)
beautiful and inspiring animation, the flow the scenery, it is all perfect!
Wow, I’m amazed by how well everything is done here. If someone doesn’t know the difference between quality over quantity that would be you. You deliver a lot of amazing animations with great “everything” and never seem to stop. Everything have been thought and about before getting executed and it really shows. Amazing job. Plz. Keep up the good work:)
Nice music selection and editing. Cute story; rather melodramatic. Pacing was well done. Not sure if the point is applicable since you have been working on this for years, however, this is a brave change in style from your typical recent works. Yet, retains an homage to the atmosphere prevalent in your brickfilms from a few years ago.
I shot most of the film this year and last, while also working on other films. The fluke that was Ninjago Jungle can be blamed on this taking up all my desk space lol. But I did intentionally shoot this film to match my older style of lighting (for the most part) and the scenes have been sitting in my mind for years since I wrote them so I couldn’t deviate that much without losing my initial vision.
This is beautiful! I know this has taken actually forever to finish but you can see all the hard work that went into it! So many pretty shots I can't pick a favorite 😭
POGGGGGGGGG the quality the story YOO nice job
I don't know how I wasn't subscribed to you, but do not worry, for I have just corrected that mistake.
Beautiful film. Now excuse me because I am going to binge your channel.
Thanks for subscribing! I hope you like what you saw. :)
It's out! Great cinematography, some of the best I've seen for a brickfilm! I feel like the ending could have differed into a new path, that I would have preferred more
Who was the dead guy then, if there was only one casualty?
I have a question, *SPOILERS FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVEN’T FINISHED THIS VIDEO!!*
for duke’s headband at the end, did you paint the headband blue, or change it in post?
I changed it in post, frame by frame. It’s originally green, from a Ninjago set!
@@rioforce yeah I have a few! I figured you edited it but was just wondering
Wonderful lighting and cinematography…. Great shots and the rain effect is effective. (Very confused around 12:48 and the ads were excessive there were atleast four and they do put the viewer out of the film, but I understand)
I think it helps to know that the flashbacks have a wide aspect ratio (?)
I apologize about the ads, I didn't realize there were midrolls on this video. I've removed them now. I'd rather people get the full experience than have to watch tons of ads.
Who did she bury then? So really 5 people died, 4 by her hand & one hung?
this was outstanding rio no doubt some of your best work
Where did you get the voices from?
I had put out a casting call in a brickfilming community back in the day and people responded! Nowadays, I'll either ask my friends or hire it out on Fiverr or somewhere else.
@@rioforce thanks, also your tutorial series was really helpful for my own stop motions
If she loves him so much why does she try to shoot him
Yandere
@@rioforce ok
