facts, I don't know why they have that nba finals youtube logo on the sideline like that logo is meaningless, they need to make the nba finals look like the nba finals again, when I am looking at season and playoff highlights from a superstar guy, I want to be able to different environments like 2017 nba finals which was the last time they did it, they need that big trophy on the middle of the court again, and the nba finals logo on the court not the sideline

I agree about not waiting until June to find out the winners for the MVP, Most Improved, Sixth Man, and Coach of the Year. Fans deserve to see their best player holding the MVP right in front of them in the home arena.

not full handchecking a variation of it but def. agree need to bring back the players being able to Express themselves on the court and loosen up those techs. Nobody is going to or want to fuck up their money by fighting so it's not going to escalate to that level but letting players jaw at each other would be great. That's why the refs get it so bad now, players 9 times out of 10 let frustration out on them instead of another player.

I actually don’t mind “no names” being in the dunk contest ... 2016 for example Zach and Gordon wasn’t necessarily known and still gave us the 2nd greatest if not the greatest dunk contest ever
& for the playoffs I say only the first & 8seed should be best of 5 because , sometimes only a few games separate the seeds so they should be able to battle it out in 7

I would love to see the guys gearing up their City edition jerseys on the All Star Game.. those jerseys are the best thing going on right now on the league, specially those inspired on GTA like the Vice City Edition of the Heat & the San Andreas Edition of the Clippers
That’d be cool but it would get confusing cuz like what if PG13 and Kawhi are on separate all star teams but wearing the same jerseys or like if Kawhi and James harden are on different teams but both wearing white

YES, but I say Get rid of conferences and have every team have a home and away game. Then the have the remaining games be rivalry games, or games between teams battling for a certain seed. Take the top 16 teams and put them in a playoff. Even seeds on one side and odd on the other

NBA these days becoming as boring, self statistics making, no defense, no tense, money squeezing game after game, after game with no serious reason playing league. Any exceptions in play - offs any intensity in finals like it doesn't matter. Ohh we've lost this year. It's ok, next year will be another season, another play - offs, another final. No big deal. And that sucks.
I'd say the only player that takes losses seriously and plays every minute to win is Giannis
To each their own, but the NBA is tons more popular now, especially internationally (increased ratings and revenue prove this).
I think today's higher scoring, faster pace, more floor spacing, more passing, and less slow isolation ball has made the NBA more exciting to casual and newer fans.
Every game is a 3pt contest. No real strategy anymore... Spread out , pick & roll/pop. Not allowed to play ANY defense, and because of this you have a bunch of guys putting up numbers that they really dont deserve.

So much has changed in the nba.. The game is exciting but the ambiance is like plain normal..
1000% agree on the individual jerseys for the ASG. It was visually fun to look at, and it made the fan of that team who had at least 1 of their own in there feel very proud.
When I was a little kid probably 5 or 6 y/o something, I know that I'm just a kid back then watching the Finals but right now there's a fucking difference i mean that i ain't got even excited to watch it. When the finals come back in the day I'm so excited to watch it like i can't wait to watch it. I got goosebumps remembering the Finals back in the day like Lakers vs Celtics in the 2010. You can't decide who's gonna win the Finals back in the day because it's so competitive I mean the Finals is like more fair. Right now the Finals since Durant joint the Warriors you could already know who's gonna win the Championship because it's not fair anymore. I just missed the Old NBA

I totally agree. East versus West in the All Star game, not the East/West pick up. Plus I am not really a fan of East or West jersey, but I am a big fan of each team's jersey in the All Star
East vs West hits the spot compared to Team vs Team .. It just feels so right to watch the bests from both conferences outplay the other
Dang I have noticed and agree with ALL but one on your list. The giant trophy logo at mid court was only present for like 2-3 years and I think it’s alright but a bit goofy. Maybe some small ones opposite the Finals script. One more would be arenas not blacking out the crowds with dim lighting. I went to a lakers game early on in the 06-07 season when they started “Lights Out” to put more focus on the court and not the crowd but watching on tv makes me think the crowd is just dead, you can barley see them jumping on big/clutch plays. Being a laker fan this may affect us more than other teams but staples used to be rocking all the time in the playoffs. I’m sure people staring at their phones during games has an affect too but dang I want to see the crowd explode for a game winner not just the front row

Good video, I agree. The individual jersey in the last few seasons would look bad because the west would have five warriors jerseys with the warriors head coach. Talent isn’t as evenly distributed as before and some stars mentalities are changing. But nonetheless I think things are turning around

Here’s an idea about the All-Star game: one person for each team. And announce them to the court like the 50 greatest players ceremony (G/F/C) in order of overall standing.

I remember the old games camera angles use to be right on the court. Flopping was out. Handchecking was in. Guys would get technical fouls and still play in the game right after the foul.You could hack a player on a cherry pick with out it being 2points awarded automatically. Dunk contest wasnt timed during dunks .
They should do a 1v1 and people’s vote to choose who goes against each other

I honestly don't mind the dunk contest not having big names, it's a good way to bring out potential from players who aren't necessarily known, Gordon vs Lavine is probably the best example
1st seed (and maybe 2nd) teams will play a best of 5 series in the first round. Makes the predictable games go by faster and also gives teams a reason to be the top seed during the regular season instead of not caring
