Why pick up all those little, nearly worthless, items? Commerce Skill. You need to sell over 200 items to rank up Commerce, and those spoons, pens, mugs, are a fast way to do it.

Nope, the presenter just selected the [All] tab, and ammo just so happened to be the first item type that popped up. They didn't hit ammo. Your use of the word "insinuate" might have a few items to unload at the Lodge, 'cause it's doing some heavy lifting of its own. Besides, selling ammo for weapons you never use still nets a great cred-to-mass ratio, so to your credit, it's always worth picking all ammo up.

Can't wait till someone mods infinite storage. Also, hope someone mods some graphical improvements. Game fluctuates from being amazing to look at to being washed out too often. And how is it there is no brightness filter!?
When over encumbered and running back to the ship, the CO2 build up won’t kill you. Just keep on running it will only put you at low health. Store the items in your ship then sleep to heal.

sell what isnt useful or needed- the MISC category is mostly junk items like desktop decor or stuffed animals, (but also has useful other items like 'lockpicks' or keys) crafting materials will have in their description and/or title, and go in the resources category.

How much time exactly do items on the floor of your ship stay there for? are items you put in captains locker , cargo hold stay there forever?, what about if you had a chest on your ship filled with your items, when you buy new ship do those chests get carried over too? Are items stored in boxes anywhere in the universe stay forever?

Another tip for players who want to pick up allot: give heavy items to your companions when you are out of space. Also: When you are on a mission before leaving your ship,store items on your ship so you can loot more stuff.
The trade authority has kiosks right next to spaceship at New Atlantis. Also actual trade authority in The Well. There is gun shop next to Galbank. Its not well signef though. Really weird this game doesnt have a minimap.

You can just open the scanner and press the outpost button to start build mode. No need to go to the beacon
You can daisy chain them together with the resource output option in the outpost build mode so they overflow to the next available
It's just like real life. I've never not gone to Home Depot three times in one day.
