I own all the iconic vintage Zenith’s from the 50 - 60 ‘s 133 133.8 bumpers 40 T 120 T a Zenith El Primero from 1969 and a 135 in steel bought it 20 years ago for a reasonable price all serviced I love Zenith movements!
I sold my Daytona and Porsche Macan upon relocating from San Jose to Medellin. I've had economic ups and downs (mostly downs), but every morning I awaken in magical Medellin brings new pleasures and opportunities. My next watch is the rose gold Zenith El Primero 1969 with leather band. A fun watch I brought with me to Medellin is the SEIKO Model 6139 Pepsi (Pogue). It keeps time well and draws more favorable attention from more collectors than other more prestigious watches I've owned. One such watch was my Omega Speedmaster Moon watch which a former manic girlfriend from the USA ran over with her car. I much prefer the gals here in Medellin.
Very interesting (like the other videos!) Bought a 146 DP in 18k a couple of weeks before. Thanks for giving more information about. Please go on like this; it’s a pleasure to watch your “education chanel”
Congrats for your new wrist buddy. It’s really a well balanced beauty :-) we will continue, no worries. Thanks for your kind words! Have a great weekend
Zenith has never been the most prominent watch brand of them all but over its long history it has always made reliable and accurate watches, and pushed the industry forward. Fun fact about zenith: The soviet union copied the Zenith 135 to make the first and only Soviet chronometer movement called Vostok 2809.
@@GoldammerVintageWatches Winston Churchill wore a LIP, thats one of its biggest claims to fame. Unfortunately it went defunct shortly after the quartz crisis. There's a brand under its name today that has some of its designs but it's not made in france anymore, so it's not really the same.
I really really like some of their modern watches and mostly their vintage pieces amazing watch maker.. One day I will buy a really nice 9ct or 18ct gold, preferably bark effect dress watch with Zenith '28800' on the dial.. Either in Automatic or maybe even a manual wind either one is OK I love their movements ❤
The way they designed the watch and the craftsmanship is incredibly super stunning
Couldn’t agree more! They made a good job here.

Zenith Stellina chronograph 146DP?

Absolutely the truth. They have some outstanding collections, especially from the 50s to the 70s.
@@GoldammerVintageWatches I was wondering if you might talk about the french brand LIP, it has a very interesting history.
To be honest, I’ve never heard before of LIP. But if we find some day an interesting piece it could be possible.
Just checked the company on chrono, they have some pretty cool vintage pieces! And a lot of funky 70s :D

Sublimely enjoyable and informative. You have a presentation style befitting the Zenith history of unpretentious beauty and excellence.
Much thanks man! Means a lot to us!!
Always informative. Gandhi had a Zenith! That Zenith you featured is a stunner.
Mich thanks buddy! Yeah it’s so beautiful. It immediately grab my attention
Fantastic video with so many great facts about this amazing (and overlooked) brand. Thank you :)

Zenith is amazing watch... "El primero".
„The First“ - everything is said! :D
Nice video, thank you 😊
You’re welcome 😇
what's the reference on the gold chrono in the video?
Hey 👋 this one?: goldammer.me/products/zenith-chronometre-18k-1947?_pos=4&_psq=Zenith&_ss=e&_v=1.0
@GoldammerVintageWatches yes thank you, but this page does not provide the reference number, I'm guessing it's not known?
Yes this pieces don’t have a specific reference :)
Really a very interesting watch. I 👍ed.
Taste is taste.
I hope it works fine. 🙏.
Taste is taste indeed! 🙏🤙
I think Seiko produced the first chronograph, they released it just a few months before Zenith.
Yeah it was the first „mass produced“ automatic Chronograph- not the first :)
@@GoldammerVintageWatches Ok, i see, i didn't realise. This is why we watch.. thank you for the info.
Hello,
The Zenith you are showing has the cal 146 based on a Martel movement. It is not a Valjoux.
Kind regards
Thanks so much you’re right!

Fingers crossed! It’s as stunning reference 🫶
I wish Zenith still made a pocket watch. It is a shame that they don't.
One black mark on Zenith's history if the company gave the watch to Gandhi.
So many names misspelled hehehe
Haha :D This is my specialty
It is very sexy.
mispelled
How do you guys not have 10k followers yet. Amazing content. Classic guys. I would trust you 😅🫡✌🏼
