    Hey John, I really enjoyed watching this video. It's a new wrinkle in your fishing norms that looked like it was so much fun. Just out of curiosity, I'd love to see how this little rod does in very overgrown places, like that creek up by your sister's house that has a that deep pool there at the highway and then goes really dense further down the creek you go. Would love to see if that little rod makes the difference in tight places like that. Please consider doing a video with that rod the next time you go visit her. :) Great PB Perch by the way....way to go.

    Laughing hard at you using the ice fishing rig. Now you know why we have so much fun ice fishing here in the Northeast! Leave enough to keep making more. Tho I've seen some people keep Way more than they would need. Too bad. Good show mate , Tom Daytona Beach, FL.

    I have a sit-in kayak and use these rods all the time, you can put them inside the kayak when the water gets rough and you don’t have to worry about hanging up on tree limbs or dumping them in the river by accident. They work great in my opinion.

  • @dougzirkle5951
    @dougzirkle5951 4 роки тому

    Years ago, I fished with a little Zebco outfit that had the reel built into the rod. I used it because it was small enough not to get tangled up in stuff growing along the shore of the lake I lived on. I caught the biggest fish (a ten pound plus carp) I’d ever caught on that little rig and must have fought that fish for 30 minutes to bring it in. That, my friend, was fishing fun, so I can understand why you tried that rod. Keep ‘me coming!

    As you've seen we've got some winter spots where we get some absolute football sized perch but numbers like that aren't really common in most places around here. I'd LOVE to have a day there and I'd cook you up some fish. Quite the opposite I enjoy keeping a few for a meal. You'd love our dedicated panfish/ultralight gear and we catch some really big fish on it.
