The Shelby Home… This is a home with a lot of potential!
From the curb, this looks massive, I like that! I really like that little porch in the front.
Even at the entry, it feels very lux. That office space on the mid level is really cool! I would really enjoy that! That’s a huge living area, plenty of room for a nice Grand Piano.
I like the kitchen, I’d surely upgrade the cabinets. Love the range, that’s a must have. I really like that the sink is not part of the island. I like to use the island for prep space. It’s a great size for the dining room, I think you could put a pretty large table there. I do like the option of the balcony off the dining room.
A balcony over the backyard is really nice too. I’d want to do a pool in the back along with a fantastic outdoor kitchen.
Top floor is very cool. My idea is to put a multi-story, blown glass light fixture in the center of the stairs. I like how the 2ndary bedrooms are grouped like that and, they’re pretty large. That third 2ndary bedroom with the ensuite bathroom is awesome! That’s the VIP suite, LOL. I’d want to put a Texas King bed in here to really spoil my guest.
Primary Bedroom is very nice except for that closet being across the room from the spa/bathroom, I prefer that layout. I agree, extend the shower to make it bigger, bring the glass up to the ceiling so it could be a steam shower and add a fantastic rain shower head. I don’t understand why they don’t put jetted tubs in these bathrooms, I would have to have that. I would put an Alaskan King bed in here, you can’t have too much room for a bed.
I think I’d have to have some kind of fire feature on the roof along with some kind of wet bar.
WOW, that lower level is fantastic! I really like this! I’m actually conflicted here, I almost think I’d rather put my Grand Piano here and make it a whole music/media floor. Those little extra areas in the Garage would be perfect for me, I’d use those spaces for my crafting stuff (Laser, CnC, 3d Printing, Embroidery Machine, etc). I love all that storage too, very well done. OMG that last bedroom is amazing! This is the VVVIP Guest Suite, LOL. I love that Warhol print in the bathroom!
This lower floor could easily forgive the faux-paux with the primary closet.
