These vids breathe life into my soul. It's so frustrating that no one of this caliber can never be found no matter where I go in the US. I've literally brought a picture of baby boomers nails five times, and I've never gotten them. I ask for pink acrylic powder, but the people (I refuse to call them nail techs) look at me like I'm insane. If any of you girls have advice, I'd be REALLY grateful. Let me know if I'm being ignorant or ridiculous. After all, I don't know anything about nails. I'm strictly a customer. I've been trying to read up on skilled nail techs, and I'm willing to compensate artists according to their skill; but sigh, it's so hard to find them! Do I sound desperate yet? Haha. Apologies for the rant! I'm like ready to get my own license at this point. Lol. Side note: what do I call Light Elegance-type gels (i.e. how do I ask for it at the nail salons)? Are they the same as the gels that go over my acrylic?
They are called builder gels. Gel polish is usually a mix of gel and regular nail polish, but can also be true gel (like LE colors). Hard gel is usually filed off and soft gel can be soaked off. Builder gel is the term for any of the gels used to ‘build’ the nail but they usually build it with hard gel for more strength. Builder gels/hard gels aren’t always offered by nail salons, acrylic is more common in the US. Honestly I would look for an independent nail tech in your area - like look on Instagram, etc. versus a regular salon. Those techs tend to be more passionate and have more options. Good luck! You’re not being ignorant! It can be hard to find a good place :)
I see myself using this product on my natural nails, when I break a nail. I'm always looking for something to salvage a broken nail, without having to cut them all back, and begin growing again. Do you need to have a license to purchase? Thank you! They look really nice 😁 Christina & The Animal Love Fest 😽😽😽🐺🐰💋
@@Zarouge I've actually tried silks, didn't do much for me. But, thank you. I started using acrylic, and some gel, which works much better, but a process. This looks super easy 😉 Oh well, you would think they'd want to make something that everyone could use, not just the pro's, but guess not.
Beautiful!😍
Perfection 🤩
Love this look and have all 4 products 😍.
Thanks for the video 😀
They’re on their way 💅💅💅
This would look lovely with badge

Oh and FYI some places incorrectly advertise acrylic as gel... if there’s powder and liquid involved then that’s acrylic! Just a heads up! :)
@@sue8412 Thanks for the advice and education. You're an angel. I wish I could give you a hug. Lol. I can't wait to start searching on Instagram.
@@KaynaEm aww thanks! Good luck on your search!! There are tons of good techs out there, I am sure you’ll find someone you vibe with :)
Absolutely beautiful ❤️ xxx

Beautiful 💅💅💅💅💅💅💅🌹🌹🌹🌹
I haven’t done a French set since pre-covid... now I want to do one sooooooo bad! You make it look so easy and beautiful! 😍😍😍
I really love your videos, I do my own nails, and I wanna use the same products, but sadly, I cannot purchase them because I don't have a license 😢

Try silks for broken nails. That's what I do and it works a treat x
Yes, you have to have a license to purchase. LE is a professional only brand.

@@lynnrahl3352 Thank you
Man, it sucks that these gels are for professionals only. They are beautiful and I would buy them in a heart beat but sadly I don’t have a license.
