In today’s video we’re continuing my decluttering series in the kitchen. I’m laying some NEW SHELF PAPER in today’s video and I get some surprise visits!

Dear Julie: next time you’re on Amazon or at Home Depot, look at the Rev-A-Shelf products. They have sooo many options that could make your cabinet space work easier for you. Reasonably priced and you can install them over time . I have them and they are amazing! Because at 70, girl I don’t bend down to deep bottom cabinets!
You know I think that’s what my big lazy Susan is with all my spices. I love it!
I did my cabinets in the spring. It doesn't look it now. My family puts stuff anywhere in the cabinets and drawers. It was more enjoyable watching you clean than it was me doing it. Your cabinets didn't really need it. You have so many nice things that you have found thrifting.
I also use 12x12 vinyl tiles in all my kitchen cabinets top and bottom and even the drawers. I use wood grain tiles. I use tiles in bottom of cabinets in all my bathrooms. We have lived in our house a long time. They always clean so easy. The hard part is me trying to get down and wipe out. This is where granddaughters give a helping hand. Makes you feel good to get organized and cabinets wiped clean. Have a great week!!!!

You say it’s embarrassing but not really it shouldn’t be, it’s just life. We all suffer thru it, some a little better, some a little worse. It’s just life.

Julie after seeing you declutter your kitchen cabinets, I was inspired to do the same,so I spent all day today decluttering my kitchen cabinets, and although it's a lot of work, it looks and feels great !!! So thanks for the inspiration !☺☺💕💕

I’m decluttering my kitchen lower cabinets with you. Switched a couple of things to different cabinets to fit and be of better use for everyday . Put a command hook inside on the sink door for a potholder so it’s out of the way from a regular drawer.
Thats ok .. we love seeing the kids too. It's looking good.
In my lower cabinets I use stick on vinyl floor tiles instead of shelf paper❣️Another great video. Enjoyed seeing your grandkids.

I have to laugh as youare sitting there in front of the cabinet and saying, " guess I need to start." I remember my Mom saying to me," It is not going to clean itself so get started!! 😃😃😃 Those boys are just precious!!
Linoleum flooring is very durable for the cabinets. Extra cut off pieces or buy small pieces if you don't have any left over from your house.
Everyone pans look like that and then when we have extra money we can get new ones. That large pan would go under the pan divider that has your other pans. Cooling rack could slide beside one of the other pans. Two in one slot. Set all the dough nut pans with the muffin pan. If you want a grandchild project in the fall, paint the bunt cake pan orange on the outside and then glue a stick that fits the hole and you have a pumpkin. By the way your grandchildren are adorable. I have enjoyed all these videos. I wish we lived near each other, You would be a fun friend to have. Bless your Heart. That's what we say in the South.

That big old pan I have one that’s tap that size that’s an older pan. I painted it with chalk paint in the middle and then I store messages on it with the chalk or with magnetics and I put a hole with this the pan I had has a hole in it, and I put it on the wall in the kitchen so if I needed to put a message on there with the post note or paper and a magnet I can or I can write it with the chalk.
That’s so smart. I just thrifted one for my magnets. I can’t wait to show y’all.

Have you considered painting (gasp at the work!) the INSIDE of your cabinets a bright white and add a few of the Dollar Tree puck lights to make things easier to find? I use those puck lights everywhere…you just have to remember to turn them off. Or maybe the new motion lights they have?
Oh yes, I have ☺️I just don’t want to tackle it lol. I think I talked about that when I made the upper cabinets video. I said one day “when I’m bored” lol which is never.

Hey Julie, so I was out I have a really small kitchen. I only have one wall of cabinets you have like like a year or something you have a whole lot but underneath my sink I stored some really big baskets a big one plastic because I am empty, Nester me and my father-in-law so I don’t need a lot of things anymore like bowls and all that I need you maybe five and that’s it and my biggest thing is that to the baking stuff I have so much bakeware I do like to bake in winter and just every every so often I’ve gotten so lazy about you know baking muffins the way I used to I have those big giant muffin tins that she would buy like at a really nice bakery, but I just don’t wanna bake like that. I wanna bake all in one pan and just cut them up and squares or something. I got a classic that my mother gave me years ago and I still have it. I don’t even wanna cook in a bun. I’ve gotten so lazy wanna do like a you know like a 9 x 5 or 9 x 14 pan or even bigger lazy putting the pumpkin bread that we can have I’ll throw some golden raisins and some pecans in it and some carrots in there shredded carrots and it’ll be like a coffee cake carrot cake thing it’s so good with pumpkin if you haven’t tried that you need to it’s just one can of pumpkin to your cake mix I throw an extra stuff sometimes I’ll just buy a carrot cake mix through the pumpkin can add gold, raisins, and pecans and that’ll be for about a week
I love to see decluttering and re-organizing to give me some ideas the bottom of my sink I use a dish pan it’s made out of wire and I use that to separate like five tops. I’ll tell you I don’t use. I don’t have a lot of tops my pots and pans are small or hanging from hanging pot and pan rack I’ll probably had about 20 years and we both did it to one of the main beams of the house so it doesn’t fall and I bought a small little. I don’t know some type of gasket you can buy at Home Depot so you’re not just swivel like a swivel hook. I had it for like 20 years paid $20 for it.
World market that’s where I bought that hanging pot rack. My kitchen is so small so I had to have somewhere to put the pots in the pan so I hang them but yeah I have so I don’t have one side of my sink. I don’t have cabinet doors. I have those deep drawers , when we remodeled the house I asked for those small medium medium and then a deep drawer and that’s where I kind of store a lot of leftovers I like rectangle ones. My icebox is small super small. My house is 900 ft.². It’s a tiny house it’s 1925 but I totally love it. It’s been upgraded or actually working on it again updating it.
Hey Julie! I know. In my opinion putting down shelf liner is the most time consuming job of reorganizing ..you are making good headway . Once that’s done , I always enjoy the contemplating and tossing !

Hi Julie! Your cabinets aren't bad at all!!!! But the coffee cup you are using...is it from target?? I would love to have a couple of those mugs and get rid of some of the other ones
If you just peel back a little on each side, you don't have to stick the whole sheet down and then the next time you need to change the paper it will not be as much of a chore.

Oh my pants round pizza don’t matter. They’re all from the restaurant Supply some of them. I had some of them I bought you know there’s a smart right here off of Katy Freeway. They allow the public to go in there. You should try to go in there and buy stuff so I got rid of those pans like that because they always get those rust spots but the RESTURANT supply ones that are aluminum or saying they still do not so my mother and my grandmother both had restaurants so I have a lot of their restaurant where you know the some plates, some pots and pans some of their pizza pans was such a good cook. She used a pizza pan as like a universal lid so that a lot of times I don’t like them have a lot of pots tops to the pans and all that so I universal one or use the pizza pan to cover up a pan
When you were talking about how you didn't know how the bottom of your cabinet gets sticky. My mind went to my silverware drawer. It gets crumbs and junk in there, and I have no clue why this happens. Does anyone else have this issue?
