Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on UA-cam, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on UA-cam. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on UA-cam, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.
If you enjoy this video and my reactions make sure you subscribe to the channel, like the video and comment down below which video you would like to see me react to next.
This is a reaction video used to educate and give my feedback on the song and artists.

Peter Gabriel is a treasure and a gift of meaningful music.
The term "legend" is used a lot, but here we see the true embodiment of that word - Peter Gabriel showcasing a world of talent.
You owe it to yourself to watch this ENTIRE concert video!
Oh, and if you want "emotional".... Check out his duet with Kate Bush, "Don't Give Up".
Peter has always been performance art. You’ll see it when you watch the whole Secret World concert. This piece is so up, it makes me smile every time.
From the same concert, I suggest, "Talk to Me," "Steam," "Solsbury Hill," "Digging in the Dirt," they're all great!
Music touches our hearts and souls emotionally, where words alone sometimes can't. It gives our soul wings, flight to our imagination,
and the joy of life. There's magic in the music; we need it like we need the air we breathe or the food we eat. Humans have made music
since the beginning of time. Every culture, race, every continent has music.
Peter Gabriel is my favorite artist. He is a prolific, esoteric and humble genius who has not been knighted due to his objection to the award. He has had more influence over my music interests than any other artist. His contributions to human rights causes are exemplary and have inspired many like-minded artists to lend their energies to meaningful causes. Most of his biographies are fantastic reads. My hero and example.
Such an elequant and moving performer. PG is the GOAT.
This video is amazing! There are others from this show that are great.
If I'm not mistaken this song is about his one time girlfriend, Rosanna Arquette, you Jeff Procaro of Toto wrote "Rosanna" about, his one time girlfriend.
Absolutely one of the most joy-filled performances I have ever seen.
Glad to see you react to this classic performance!!! If you appreciated Paula Cole's vocals, you definitely need to react to "Don't Give Up" from this Secret World tour!! It's an amazing performance!!! Also check out "Downside Up" from the Growing Up tour!!! Without giving it away, it's something like you have never seen before.
Thanks for the recommend
You should definitely watch the entire Secret World Live video from 1993, one of the best concert films. This song was the second encore on the 1993 tour, where I was front row of the center stage for the show in Detroit. Vocalist Papa Wemba opened the show, and his band came onstage toward the end of the tune. I had a hard time taking my eyes off drummer Manu Katche, and bassist Tony Levin is legendary. I also saw "In Your Eyes" in 1986 when vocalist Youssou N'Dour opened and then joined Peter for this song as the encore, on which he also sang on the studio version. The first time I saw Peter, in 1977, I had what I thought were terrible seats, front row but all the way to the left of the stage. but the seats turned to gold when I realized I was one of about eight or ten people who could see Robert Fripp playing guitar in the wings. Not sure where you live, but Peter just began playing the US. MUST-SEE, as is Genesis guitarist Steve Hackett. Thanks for playing this! I also recommend the live version of Biko from 1987 in Athens.
"Don't Give Up" is a great song with Peter Gabriel and Kate Bush! The video, not live.
From same performance , pleeeze react to "Shakin the Tree"...Peter at his finest.
No lip sync, here kids.
We don’t see music like this anymore thank God they Recorded this!!!!!❤️✌🏼
this entire secret world concert video is incredible. you should listen to "don't give up" from this same concert. paula cole, the female singer from this song, does a fantastic duet with peter.
I've seen a lot of spectacular concerts in my time, but none better than seeing Gabriel in '86 at the Fabulous Forum in LA for the So tour, which also closed with this song (which was on that album). No better showman out there IMHO. Just awesome.
So glad you checked this out! What a concert!!! Long live PG!
The double-violinist is L Shankar from India, who has had a fantastic career working in just about every genre. I first saw him with Shakti in the mid-70s and have been a fan since. He has some great recordings with saxophonist Jan Garbarek, but I love him most when he's playing classical Indian music. I was in the front row at one of his shows and was transfixed by tabla master Zakir Hussain and must have had a huge dopey grin because when I looked again at L, he was staring intently at me and just jamming on his violin. One of the highlights of my live concert experiences, for sure.
That Secret World video is amazing buy it if its still available
This song was written about his gf at the time Rosanna Arquette. Her sister is Patti Arquette, brother is David Arquette, grandfather was Cliff Arquette, also an actor known as "Charley Weaver", and patriarch of the Arquette acting family.
A legendary performance, song and artist!
Those big shows with loads of musicians... they can't be beat. Those concerts and his music, just seemed to be coming from a great place. If you like electric violin, Hugh Marsh is really good. His first album is great with all sorts of vocalists coming in
Hey kids, before cell phone flashlights, we used lighters.....
..and why did we have those lighters?....lol
I'm glad I'm old. :)
@@mikemicrael5749 Damn Skippy Brother....damn Skippy.👍✌️🖖
@@j.h.3777 hmmmmmm?..🤣🤣🤣
Bassman is cool. Plays with King Crimson .... check out them doing "Indiscipline" ... Live in Mexico City....
Peter usually has the opening act join his band for the encode. That's why there are so many people on stage. He was doing that even back in 82 when I saw him the first time.
This is like a religious experience
The whole concert...☺
Great Groove, eh? He is touring for his new album NOW and I have tickets for Denver in Oct. Never have seen him live. Excited. Yeah.
A master songwriter and vocalist, IMHO! No disrespect to fans of Phil Collins, but Peter Gabriel was easily the best part of Genesis! The Book of Love is a gorgeous song by PG.
He's touring now and every bit as good as he ever was at 73! Try and catch him.
3:45 am , North Stage, Woodstock '94....last song of the Festival. I have been on "Weather Watch" keeping the roof system working, 105 ft in the air for the last 3 days. It had stopped raining , I climbed down to get something to drink and maybe catch a nap, listening to Peter Gabriel.....but no, the Top Union Official on the job comes up to me "Robin, you can run a spot light, right?" "Sure" I reply, thinking it's one of the positions over the stage on a lighting truss..."One of the guys running a "Super Trooper" on the Mix Tower passed out, so I need you to take over for him." he says. I have had maybe 3 hrs of sleep since Thursday night, I have been on site since the beginning, 21 days straight of building scaffolding stages, mix towers and pedestrian bridges to the camping areas, I am Beyond Exhausted! Getting to the spot light involves, working my way through the "Mud People" and the foul Mosh Pit of 2 ft of mud and Human Waste in front of the Stage. A Big Security Guard ( Peace Patrol) gets in front of me and yells "Clear the Way, Stagehand needs to get through!" And the Whole Crowd, about 10,000 people clear a path and start Cheering! When I get to the 50 ft Mix Tower and start climbing up the outside they start clapping and cheering, it felt Good! In Your Eyes was the very last song. It holds a Special Place in my Heart....
Hey Brother, I hope you are feeling better, and I hope you have a good day. I thought I would leave another suggestion for another PG song. I totally agree with you Peter Gabriel concerts are most definitely special. I would certainly go to a concert if you could, it's an experience you'll never forget. Anyway, here's another fantastic performance with the great Kate Bush "Peter Gabriel - Don't Give Up (ft. Kate Bush)" this is magical stuff, bro (ear candy🍬)
He's out on tour right now if you're serious about wanting to see him live.
He's still rocking 😊😊😊😊
Atmosphere is a great comment. Peter Gabriel, Phil Collins, and Genesis all brought the mood and vibe. Dramatic music. Emotion come through over and over.
A concert in the round is a special event and they made the most of it for all of the crowd.
Thanks for your Reaction to this outstanding Track. The best is........the audience have real lighters..... no Mobile Phones :) Love it.
This was the song played at the end of the show, on this tour. 😊This is happy music. Everyone on stage looks like they are having an amazing time. Have listened to Pete since Genesis, back in the 80s. Great stuff!!!!
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
The concert from 2003 or 04 is also amazing. He rides a bike on stage and walks upside down. Very cool
Just took my 20 year old son to see him, 11th row, and he hasn’t lost a step. Lost some HAIR but so have I! ❤️🫡
He is touring the US RIGHT NOW - he's a must-see, not sure if he will be touring again!
Glad to see your reaction!!! I saw Peter Gabriel last night in Austin!! Phenomenal show and as always, "In Your Eyes" an amazing encore to the 3 hour show!!!! Had the entire crowd at the Moody Center completely immersed in the show!
So happy your channel populated into my feed. Your reactions to my greatest hits/favorite artists recaptures a joy that's indescribable. I'm glad you hear, see, and feel what my generation experienced first hand. They don't make 'em like they use to. It's a spiritual experience to see Peter Gabriel in concert which I'm blessed to have had a number of times.
Come talk to me live is a simple production but so brilliant, need to watch
His concerts are a visceral experience.
Chills ... EVERY TIME!
Loved this reaction💕"In Your Eyes" and "Red Rain" are both from his album 'So'...a couple other great songs from that album are his duet with Kate Bush "Don't Give Up" (I second others' suggestions for the official video) and "Mercy Street" (the Growing Up Live version is amazing...the official video is great too).
Thank you 😁 I've been wanting to do another Kate Bush reaction, so this sounds like a great suggestion! I'll have to knock this one out soon
Looking forward to that😊 @@ShawnSalvadori
