Good morning from Austria, your almost neighbour. Your May garden is overflowing with beauty.😍👏😍 In my small townhouse garden, the tulips have finished flowering, daffodils and mascari too. I took your advice regarding alliums , I planted some bulbs in autumn and they are such a pleasure to took at. Next autumn, I plan on planting more. Wisteria, finished too, weigelia is still blooming, violas and pansies are still blooming. Thank you for sharing your video. A new gardener here.🌼🌸🌼
Hello from Canada 🇨🇦 I’m in zone 5b and the tulips and daffodils are still in bloom. Today is 21 Celsius so we are in similar temperatures as previous years, maybe slightly warmer. What a beautiful garden you have Marta!
Good morning from Maryland, USA. We had a hight temperature of 32 Celsius 2 days ago, and today it will rain and reach a high of 12 Celsius! My garden is blooming 2-3 earlier. My daffodils are done and the azaleas, peonies, and salvias are blooming currently. Your garden is so lovely,
I want to thank you for getting me to plant alliums in my flower beds. I am in love with them. Most of them are in full bloom now or just a bit passed here in zone 7b North Carolina, US. I will be adding a lot more of these this fall. What a great addition to the flower beds. Thank you for your video last fall about alliums, you have started a new obsession for me.
Many greetings from Prague, Marta! This spring is being really crazy here. Two or three weeks with temperatures above 20 (one even with 29'C in the beginning of April), then (around April 20-22) three frosty nights (-6'C), so nearly everything has been damaged (magnolias, hydrangeas, roses, azaleas, early rhododendrons, tardily germinating trees and shrubs as ginkgo, liriodendron, hibiscus, walnut trees etc.) - all burnt by frosts. Only tulips went well, being in flower almost four weeks. Now, it's above 20'C again but hardly any rain... Evergreen late rhododendrons start blooming (again cca two weeks earlier than usually), those were not damaged by frosts. Thanks for sharing your beautiful garden!
My Grape Hyacinth 🪻 Tulips 🌷 and now our Lilac Bushes are putting on a real show for us here on our Farmstead in southern Minnesota Zone 4b - you always have your gardens looking so beautiful 🤓
Hi Marta, my tulips are done for this year, and my alliums are just about to open, thank you for the tip about the leaves. My peonies are just about to open and my roses have so many buds, excited to see them when they open. I live in Oregon USA (northwestern).
Hi Marta, your garden looks incredible. Here in Ireland the temperature is still cold, 12-13 degree Celsius this week. Mostly cloudy or raining. Today we have a bit of sun, so hopefully I'll be out in the garden re-planting my pots. Thanks for your videos.
Hello from the UK. Marta your garden is beautiful. I have a small garden, heavy clay soil so its a challenge!! Our weather is poor for May. We had sunshine today but it has been very cloudy and wet for quite a while.
Good morning from Connecticut USA we are now in spring the tulips and daffodils have been amazing this year. Our lilacs are just about ready to bloom you can smell them as you walk around the yard. We love your beautiful gardens thank you for sharing them and your knowledge. Terry
Good morning from Canada 🇨🇦 my garden is about a month ahead, and I wasn’t prepared! All of the plants I started from seed are not ready for outdoors. Thanks for sharing!
Good morning from Nebraska USA. We had a freeze last week and now it is windy this week. Getting a little discouraged with our spring, but my Shrimps on the Barbie lungwort is still beautiful 😊. Your videos are lovely and I enjoy them so much.
I love all your topics, we are still experiencing warm weather for the middle of May, here in NSW Australia. No frosts so iam still picking summer veggies
Hi Marta, your garden is looking beautiful as usual. I’m pleased you said that about Alliums, leaves are looking awful on mine. Out they go! Have a lovely week. Looking forward to next video 🌸
In our yard in Finland, the first daffodils have just started to bloom today. Today is a warm spring day, but due to possible night frosts, planting the dahlias will have to wait.
Good morning from USA JUST get excited when I see you’ve a video to share . The garden is gorgeous like your weather ours here in West Virginia USAis very beautifully warm thst it has pushed so many us usually late spring bloomers to bloom now. 🤦♀️always a new experience in one’s gardens Mother Nsture keeps us guessing 🌞. Never too discouraging just gotta try something different! Have a wonderful day!
Hi Marta, your gardens are already looking beautiful. Massachusetts USA ( Northern part of the states). I am still in early spring here. But the days are starting to warm up into the 60's . wont be long now before i can start planting in the vegetable garden. The flower gardens have a lot that is dormant, but we are getting there
I have planted a summer pot almost exactly like the one you showed--a yellow supertunia, green sweet potato vine and euphorbia LOL. I stuck an elephant ear bulb in the midde so we'll see what happens with it.
Found your channel a few weeks ago……. Your gardens are stunning! I love all the details and visuals of your plants…..I live in USA in the southern part of Utah. We are high desert and very dry. I’m able to a lot of my favorite perennials. Question, I have Brunnera and it’s doing well for me in part shade. I would like to add more of this plants by purchasing seeds on line. Do they germinate well as direct self sow outside? Thank you Marta 🌷
Thank you, Marta, for sharing your beautiful garden. I am in the Eastbay by San Francisco. We have mostly beautiful 70°F (21° C). Most of the spring flowers are done blooming. The roses are blooming beautifully. Could you do a tutorial on pruning rhododendrons?
Hi Marta, your garden is beautiful! I’m in North Carolina, and the temp is near 90. My violas are starting to lay down but are still full of blooms. I’m sad to see them go. My New Dawn roses are blooming. This year I put creeping Jenny in pots to get that lime green for my patio. I also used a drift rose that’s white and pale yellow. Great minds ?! Thought it would look cooler during the heat. The guara is blooming early .
Just wondering what your growing zone is please. Very clever ide with that fiberglass rod to keep those plants staked. I have that euphorbia and I do pull it out on occasion.
after a few weeks of summer weather, cold got back.... low night temperatures damaged hydrangea buds, all are black now((( there are a lot of buds on roses and peonies but heavy rains and cold weather make me doubt that we'll see nice blooms this year...
