Hello, I am lucky and my Wisteria blooms every year, I have it for 4 years now. For the first 3 years I did not prune at all, because I was afraid and I didn’t know how. In February this year I performed a first pruning, the winter prune. You look at the leading branch and you cut the side branches down that you are left with 2,3,4 nods. In August it’s the summer prune and you prune the side branches so that you are left with 5 to 8 nods, We’ll see how that goes. I had a lot of flowers. I once read when buying wisteria, you should buy one that flowers, because unfortunately there are plants that not bloom….

And little remark on Sedum Spectabilis, like all succulents after cutting and before rooting it prefer to some DRY OFF, so it can form callus for rooting.

Hi. Can the penstemon be rooted in water as well?

  • @МаксимБородин-й9ч

Marta, there is one MINUS to cut tulips with scissors - you can spread tulips breaking virus from ill one. So it's better to break them with hands. But takes more time.
