I really enjoyed this video, and I think that your blades are super interesting. I do have one criticsm though (please take this constructively), with your music, try not to vary the volume so much. I find you talk quiet (which means I put my volume up) and then the music becomes super loud (I put my volume down). Awesome video, just wanted to point that out as it kind of takes away from the video for me. I subscribed anyway, cus I like your content. :)

I’m 13 and have a twin sister she is a double amputee and she still amazes me every day (not because of what she can do but because of what she comes up with) once she hit me with her leg😂🤦🏻♀️ she’s interesting but I love her ♥️ and with both of us being “different” it’s nice to have her to support each other ♥️ (I’m hoh and have EDS)

I'm amazed at how far prosthetics have advanced, and how much more they will be able to do in a few years. And you appear to have mastery over how to operate those.

I only just found your channel but I’ve watched like 5 videos now, you’re so inspiring and personally I’m really thankful for you sharing all of this content. I’m not an amputee myself but I’ve had my life changed working with differently-abled athletes and am in my junior year of uni with a dual degree in biomedical engineering and orthotics and prosthetics because my dream is to make devices to help amazing, driven, beautiful people to live with no limitations
I personally think the fact that you walk around with these obvious is the awesomest thing about you.
Also, if the point behind making this video was to shut me up, consider it a success.

So... as you grow... Do they grow with you or adjust or you get new ones? if so... how are they made? Some people have knees to walk around, how come you're not using those?

What do you mean by “some people have knees to walk around, how come you’re not using those?”
He means blades are stiff prosthetics but there are options that give people the range of natural limbs and offer bending at the knee and ankle. Blades do not do these things but Isabelle prefers them.
One reason could be that microprocessor legs are extra expensive and two, they probably don't provide the same kind of shock absorption as blades do (for trampolining as much as she does). :)

that's so nice! I had a floral print when I was little, but now I was thinking about a Harry Potter themed prosthesis!:D
Rose A. Clyde i saw a prostetic limb (i don't remember if it was an arm or a leg) thaat had the marauders map on it and it looked really cool. i saw it on a google image search a long time ago though so it might not be there still...

I didn't understand how you bend them in the lap?
Ivan Ivanov I think she pulls the lever to allow the knee to be on bending mode then sort of kicks forward to get them to bend? I guess you could use your arms to force them instead.
That's from what I can tell, could be wrong.

Did u design them urself? Like the artwork? It's beautiful art, and that pink is the most gorgeous pink I think I ever seen!! I love that u made them ur own, fit them, I feel (..and obvi I don't personally kno u, in fact, just came across ur channel and watched a couple vids, and I'm in binge mode, I'm gonna watch them all lol, but anyway..like I said, don't kno u personally..so take this with a grain of salt..) to depict what an amazing, bright, colorful, happy, positive, (so many words I could use here🙃..) soul you have within urself, and it radiates from you, out of u! I just feel ur such an inspiration, not only for ur outlook on life, ur life, but embracing your differences and the awful, scary, circumstances that changed ur life and path at such a young age, even almost losing urself altogether. Many would give up, be depressed, some even just wishing they didn't pull thru for the fact they can't imagine how they'll be ever able to live a normal, happy life again. I've seen that more than a few times with people. But then, I see you, making it positive and determined to live the life, you almost lost, in a bright, beautiful, and positive way! Not taking life for granted, it was saved for a reason..always a reason, not letting it go to waste. Many don't get that 2nd chance or opportunity for it. Not caring what others think or stares at you, I'm sure u prob get, bc maybe they pity u or can't understand or imagine living this way. So with that right there..bring on those bright pink, graphic blades, and let people stare at them..which will lead them, to then stare at this young woman that is showing off just how triumphant, proud, STRONG, BRAVE, PERSEVERANT, AND DETERMINED, a young woman can be!! WITH JUST ONE LOOK or stare, THEY GIVE YOU..not letting that look or stare be one with pity on you. I could just go on and on here about ur Tenacity and witnessing here myself, the way u go about living your best life you could ever want, just a little differently than most others.

Do they require much maintenance? Do you need to check every so often the bolts haven’t loosened or oil the knee mechanism etc?

I guess given you will grow and change sockets you can be really bold with colour and design. I love pink and purple, but when choosing the colour for my wheelchair I went with a kind of metallic teal it makes it stand out and seems to blend quite well with stuff that I wear, but I do have to stick with it for 5 years. 18mths in and I'm not regretting it or dreaming about what colour I'll choose next time, I'm dreaming about what subtle adjustments I want, colour will probably be how I feel on the day I order.

how long to they last for (assuming they are like shoes) fitting them? and what did you have to do to fit them, how long did it take for you to get use to them, training to walk?, run , do they make your joints hurt at the end of the day?can you wear "normal" clothing or do they have to be custom fit, thank you. P.S do you have prosthetic arms?

I seen when you walk in your other videos you don't bend your legs to walk.
so I was wondering if it was easier for you to walk with then straight rather then bend your knees like you have to do with leg legs?

From one amputee to another, I feel the ones with feet on the bottom work best cause you get 2 were shoes. Blades are really only for sports

My cousins chair is so cool looking It makes me jealous. It’s hard to defend him because the low bar hurts bad if your in his way. My love, he was also concerned about terrible people being mean but that’s something wrong with them not you.

Have you thought about trying out the newer prosthetic designs, like ones with hydraulics and electro-sensors so you can control your knee without your hands? Obviously, for sports, you would want to stick with blades.

Forgive me if this has been asked a million times before: Is there a reason why you don't have prosthetic arms as well? (Technical person here, I am a bit curious about if they are impractical, or if you just do well enough without them?)

For when you drive with team Brit will you be utilising your current blades or are they making a custom system? Or is it still getting worked out?
With team BRIT were more focusing on arm controls so I will be getting prosthetic arms but I will be updating videos showing the whole process of driving and learning to drive so make sure you keep a look out for them videos.

A lot of people think that it can hurt when you are standing on a prosthesis, but that is not true! :) It could actually hurt like, after an operation, but I dont think that the doctorst even let you stand on a prosthesis when your scars aint healed so - no, I'm sure it doesn't hurt. ^^
+ maybe if you have some problems with your scars, or at some other place on your leg, it could possibly hurt, but I'm sure it doesn't if you don't have any other health issues.

I have very great respect for you becouse i think i wouldn't be able to deal with your amputee especially not at such a young age
