You need all these; Steptronic sport transmission(OE*2TB) ComfortAccess(OE322) Display key(OE3DS) ParkingAssistantPlus (OE*5DN) Professional navigation system(OE*609) Comfort access for the antenna apparently. If you don't have it, you need Hardware to plug in the boot lid aswell as the software upgrades. But it does cost quite a bit along with the key itself. Hardly any dealer will bother with it or even know about it
Why would you only put $500 down on a 70k car? If you can only afford $500 down then you won't be able to afford the payments.. or if you could afford to put more down and didn't just because is not a smart financial decision..

Just took delivery on my 2019 model, at first I thought the same but realized the display key can be charged wirelessly right on the wireless charging tray in the center console just in front of the cup holders so it's convenient and it also comes with a core and can be plugged in right inside the center console where your right elbow rests

The 2017 benz'es also have this feature. Although it's done via a smartphone, not a key. Same options as shown on the key (we have these options on the mercedes-me app). The name of remote parking app on the new benz'es is 'Parking' or ' Remote park'. Nothing new. BMW introduced this feature 2 years ago on the 7-series. Mercedes introduced it a bit later in 2016 with the new e-class. IF by any chance you again buy a c63s, but this time a sedan, you will have this option aswell (IF you order 360 camera etc..). For the coupe's it isn't available yet.

Imagine a feature like this but instead you're provided with a parking laser attached to the front end of your key. You just point your laser (which is the exact dimensions of your vehicle) to wherever you would like to park your vehicle. Sort of like an outline of your vehicle. The sensors in your vehicle will detect the surrounded area for any obstacles. Load up the route. And park itself in the marked location.
didn't think about this but it really sounds cool. and most of all doable by making a 360 camera take a pic of the laser tagged location and move the car there. i'd expect some chinese vehicles to have this before bmw at least 5years ahead like many other features :) but yeah... hardest part to make this real is to be able to beam the laser properly from your hand to a specific spot, because the laser lines drawn on the ground will completely be knocked-off by your height, position, hand tilt, ground tilt and maybe some other stuff that you can't really fix with software, and manually setting this from the fob is practically impossible. but, for simple parking as current cars have, this can actually be reality. i would have imagined bmw did this to their remote control parking feature and it's a bummer they did not. you basically need to perfectly alling the car before parking it. not very usefull, more like a gimmick

Can this be coded in? I have a 5 series g30 like this one with Display Key. My car doesnt have remote start/ park; wasn't an available option. Im in Europe, where cars couldnt be sold with any form of remote start until 2019.

Can you up grade the 530e to work with this key?
As far as i know you can upgrade literally any BMW within the last 7ish years with this key (F generation cars and similar years)
But it's not neccesary that it will have remote parking still like a 7 or 5 series

Hi, I was checking an all the bmw 550i and they don’t come with that display remote. Is that like an option?
So what if the wheels are turned when you park the car, and then go to use this feature? Will the wheels straigten themselves?
How about parallel parking? Can you do it on a tight spot? That didn't seem like more then moving the car back and forth.

It will slightly correct the steering if an object is to close but you can't do it from the fob
AutoVlog Still very cool. When I first saw your title, I was imagining pulling up to a space, getting out of the car and it would steer itself into the spot. I'm sure that is coming and wouldn't that be wild! I wonder how much the fob costs to replace?
Does it come standard on all BMW cars? Why doesn't Lincoln continental nor brand new Lincoln Navigator have remote parking feature? Both of them are luxury cars.

I have a 5 series g30 like this one with Display Key.
My car doesnt have remote start/ park; wasn't an available option.
Im in Europe, where cars couldnt be sold with any form of remote start until 2019.
Let's get out of my car to push a fuckijg button and watch my car move for the next five minutes. Great idea BMW
