UPDATE on my opinion of the Shark device. I used it for 2 months straight after filming this video and It started to damage my hair. My extensions took a beating, and i had to stop using it and go back to using my Dyson. I think the Shark is too hot, and Dyson has technology that helps protect your hair. Personally, i would save up and get the Dyson over the shark, especially if you're paying a lot of money for extensions.. Just my opinion. I hope it's helpful 🙏 Thank you for watching❤
YAY 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 I am so happy to hear that. I searched on the 2 pamphlets that came with it and it doesn't say anything about the filter other than to clean it with a toothbrush so I'm so happy to hear it comes off. THANK YOU for letting us know❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for doing a side by side comparison with the Dyson. I had previously bought the Dyson but returned it because I couldn’t justify the price tag. I think the Dyson definitely feels more luxurious and looks a little nicer but I’m not disappointed with the Shark at all. I have shorter hair so the smaller barrels for curls is nice for me. The round brush wins 100% because like you mentioned, the Dyson one is smaller. I also feel like the Shark gets hotter. Agree with you on the cold shot though. For me the lower price tag is worth it for me to figure out the button configuration but to each their own. Either way, it’s such an awesome invention- it’s been a game changer for me!
I think the side with shark looks better and healthier. I'm glad the instruments are at the bottom otherwise my hands mess with them. The cost is much better. The filter does pop down.
I’ve been reluctant to get the Dyson because I have 2 Dyson vacuums and don’t like either one. I think the brand is overhyped. So I am glad you reviewed the Shark!
GREAT NEWS🎉🎉 The shark filter DOES come off. YAY. I read the pamphlet, and it didn't say anything about taking it off; it just said to clean it with a toothbrush. I tried to take it off, but I now realize you need to pull hard to get it to come off. That's fantastic news, and it will help the longevity of the dryer. Thank you to everyone in the comments who brought this to my attention ❤️😁 You all are amazing. Shark did a FANTASTIC job creating something similar to the Dyson concept at a MUCH more affordable price. Well done, Shark👏👏👏
ok having read that, the shark wins for me hands down and I already have the dyson hair dryer and straightener so I am a dyson fan but why pay $600 for something that $200 to $275 does just as well or better! Thanks for the great comparison.
Thank you so much for this review! This is my first video watching you and I’m so happy I found your channel! I’m so glad I found someone who isn’t too elitist to approve something that’s budget friendly. I can afford the Dyson and it is so tempting but that price just hurts my heart. Specially having a toddler, I just feel like I can use the money I saved for something he needs. I got the Shark and I know it’s definitely not the same as the Dyson but I am able to make it work so I’m going to keep it. Thanks again for the review!

I live my shark but I also use mine in the elbow turned position. I have even figured out how to use the heat buttons slowly to make my curls last. I start on the high heat for 5 seconds, then medium heat for 5 seconds, then low heat for 10 seconds then no heat at all for 5 seconds. It works so well to set the curls and they last all day in my fine/ soft hair.
The UK version is black&rose gold, comes with all 5 attachments, a black case, along with a quick start guide and a styling guide. Mine arrived today and I can’t wait to use it! Your review was super helpful, thank you Tara! I believe the shark filter does come off, you just slide down (from what I’ve been told) I do love the US’ version colour, it’s beautiful 😍 x
I have both. The Shark definitely has more power and really winds up those curls tightly around the barrel. The Dyson is weaker. The curls also last alot longer with the Shark. And they're also neater, less loose strands. What no one is mentioning tho is that the brush attachment on the Dyson has the same coanda effect as the barrels. The only attachments that use the coanda effect on the Shark are the curling barrels. While I love the oval brush on the Shark, it is rougher on my hair and needs tension to work properly. The Dyson smoothing brush sucks the hair to the brush and is more gentle while smoothing everything down. Sadly I keep both plugged in and ready to use because I like different aspects of both.
@@karengertis7833u should not use the wraps on wet hair! First u need to just dry your wet hair normal a bit and after that should smooth it out and after that like with 95% dryness u should use the wraps. They of course would not work before
I have been wanting the Dyson Hair Wrap since it came out and was finally going to treat myself…but felt incredibly guilty!! I was waiting for the sale and Hurricane Ian destroyed my home and turned my son and my life upside down in every way. I definitely can’t justify spending the money now with everything and after seeing a few reviews on the Shark…especially yours because we have such similar hair…I’m going to get the Shark. I love Shark products and they have great customer service…so I’m treating myself to this and feel less guilt since it’s half the price. I’m sure Shark will come out with other attachments and listen to people’s comments also
I have both. I loved the Shark until I had so much hairloss from their oval and paddle brushes that I ended up at the dermatologist. Their brushes are way too rough. The dyson saved me. Yes, the barrels from the Shark are better than Dyson. But those are the only Shark attachments that have the coanda effect. Dyson uses the coanda technology on all their attachments (except the small round brush), that's why the price difference. Dyson's smoothing brushes are magical. At first I thought they would do nothing for me but their coanda effect gives me a smooth blowout without yanking my hair out. I love the Shark barrel curls and if you have plenty of hair and don't mind losing some then go for it. That's no longer my situation so I'm sticking with the Dyson. I'm past the Shark return window so I have both systems. Hoping Shark comes out with some better attachments and I may try it again.
I've heard some things about the Shark in the last few weeks. Mostly, hair loss & damage. My hair stylist told me she's has clients that the shark completely damaged their hair. It's VERY hot, much hotter than the Dyson. Thank you for sharing your experience, the Dyson has the technology, without using extreme heat. You're right, that's why it's more money than the shark🤷♀️ Thanks again, and sorry to hear about the damage on your hair❤️❤️❤️
Perhaps there were legal time restraints restricting other companies from utilizing certain technologies. Whatever the reason, I’m excited you like the more affordable version. I may try it. 🎉
I love the way Dyson sounds. It's almost muffled compared to shark. Also the cool shot is a must. It's curlier because of the harsh heat. But remember this products main purpose is to kind of also protect your hair from harsh heat. Also the buttons on the shark are not well designed compared to Dyson. The packaging experience is also a huge difference. Great review!
I so appreciate this! I was going to get the shark hair dryer for Christmas but I’ve decided to get the flexstyle instead! I already ordered it! I have curly/wavy hair, but I straighten it sometimes. This will give me the best of both options! I think the buttons won’t be a big deal since I won’t be switching from one to the other. I just don’t want to spend the money for the Dyson and seeing your results, I don’t think I need to. Thanks!
If I didn't already own the newer version of the Airwrap I would buy the Shark due to the lower price and the oval brush. I'm hoping Dyson eventually releases an oval brush. I prefer the cool shot on the Dyson and the ability to switch the curl direction without having to swap barrels. I had the original Airwrap but gave it to my mom when I upgraded.
Thanks for the review Tara! If I didn’t already just purchase the Dyson the Shark would be a yes because the side with the shark looks beautiful! Honestly though your hair is gorgeous no matter what you use!
I’m so glad you did this test of the Dyson and Stark. I have the older Shark dryer. After you finished styling your hair the Stark side looked so much better than the Dyson side that it made me decide to get the new Shark model.
Girl same! I swear I thought she was gonna say that side was Dyson! I was gonna bite the bullet and get the new Dyson; but after seeing Tara’s results I’m getting The Shark. 🥰🥰🥰
Thank you so much for doing this comparison. I have always Been intrigued about the Dyson but could never justify the price. It is nice to know the Shark is a viable alternative.
I have naturally curly hair so I do not use any device 😅 and I have an instant hair due every day depending on how much I fluff my curls. If I didn't I will have already purchased the Dyson since I have the dryer to diffuse my curls and I love it. I am glad other brands are coming out with comparable products at a better price. Your hair looks so long and beautiful Tara 💜💜💜
Hi Tara. Thank you for the review! I have the Dyson and my curls do not hold very long. After seeing the final check in, I have to say I like how the Shark side looks better & now I’m curious of how it would hold my curls.
Thanks Tara. The buttons at the bottom will be annoying but only depending on how someone holds it. Someone just said the filter comes off & I hope they're right b/c that would be a problem. Seems to do a good job, your hair looks great!
is the dyson lowest temperature setting cooler than the shark lowest temperature setting? seems like the shark gets hotter in general which makes the cool shot harder to jump from really hot to somewhat cool quickly. I think this shark is a great tool though to try since you’re not paying 500+ to experiment and not knowing if it suits your hair type. Appreciate the comparison, not many people use the dyson frequently and also have the shark right now
Ya, I think you're right. The shark seems to get hotter than the Dyson, and that could be why the cool shot doesn't seem to work. I think you're right on the money there👏💕 Thanks for watching❤️❤️
I noticed right away that shark side had more lift and volume on top but I liked the dyson curls better (that was probably the size difference). Even at the end I could tell a difference in the lift of roots. So the size of brush matters more than cooling it off, id say. Drybar has the same shape volume brush too.
Thanks a lot for the great review, Tara! I have heavy hair and tried Dyson in a shopping center. It could hardly pick up my hair. In this case, I think Shark will be a very good alternative for me, especially I like on you Shark side more.
Thanks for letting me know. The pamphlet doesn't show the piece comes off, only tells you to clean it with a toothbrush so I'm so happy to hear it comes off🎉🎉🎉 That is way better, and will help the longevity of the dryer😁❤️
Great video! I was looking at getting my wife the Dyson for her birthday but once I heard about the Shark I figured I would at least look into it. Even though the price difference makes me want to like the Shark, my wife is definitely worth getting the Dyson for. 🎉. Thanks for helping me on my decision making!
Yes, the Dyson is my choice. I used the Shark for a few months after filming this video, but I had to stop using it because it damaged my hair. It gets way too hot. The Dyson has the technology that doesn't damage your hair. The Dyson is more money, but well worth it. And, that's such a fantastic gift to get your wife 👏👏 She will LOVE it😁
@@TaraLynnbeauty oh no! Sorry to hear that 😪 thank you for the additional info though; I will say that we got a Dyson vac after our wedding in 2006 and it lasted us until a few months ago. Naturally, we replaced it with another Dyson. My wife's hair is also the first thing I noticed about her 20 years ago when we first met so it deserves nothing but the best.
@Johnny Trash yes, i bought the Dyson vacuum as well, and best money i ever spent on a household cleaning item. Lol. I never use my central vaccum now. And, you're so sweet. That's the key to a great marriage 😁 I've been married to my amazing hubby for 23 years this December, and life is better than ever. Wish you another 50 years of love and happiness🥂🥂
I have been thinking of purchasing the new dyson at the Sephora sale since I'm rouge. It's just sooo expensive. I might wait and see if shark has a % off sale in the near future.
I'm not sure how you can say the cool shot doesn't have it...the curl is still there. Maybe the Dyson is just cooler, but doesn't need to be that cool in order to hold the curl?
I think the Shark gets hotter than the Dyson, so I suspect that's the reason the cool shot doesn't feel cooler like the Dyson. I used it again yesterday to fluff my curls, and the Shark is definitely hotter than the Dyson. Like I mentioned in the final thoughts, the cool shot may not be an issue because the curls last.. The smaller barrel from the Dyson also lasts longer than the larger barrel, like the shark😁 But it's a little too tight of a curl, so I don't like using it. The shark has a great size of curl but too curly but not too loose . But, that cool shot doesn't make much of a difference on that shark😁 Still, a great machine overall👏👏
Thank you a lot for this video! I would like to know if shark is burning you hair more? Is it getting hotter? I read they have the same temperature control and this is what I am interested in, i have frizzy hair and hot stuff over time makes it worse. I had the Supersonic dryer and noticed a lot of improvement over time, my hair never split.
I think the Shark is hotter than the Dyson, and I suspect that's the reason the cool shot isn't working because it's so hot. it can't cool that fast with a cool shot. I used the shark again yesterday to fluff my curls with the airwrap, and it definitely is hotter than the Dyson. Not sure what impact that will have over time regarding breakage. But, definitely something to consider😁❤️
I like that the shark has a diffuser option for this device. It would cost me $1000 to own both Dyson products that would allow me to style naturally curly with the diffuser or blow out/loose curls with the air wrap.
Ya, I totally understand. My hubby had natural curly hair and I'm thinking about buying the diffuser and seeing if he can get use out of it. 😁❤️ I regret not putting that in my bundle. Lol
Dyson Airwrap is the best investment for your mood! Worth every penny. I love my personal experience of using Dyson. 🤗 And it's a great thing that we have similar products.
Wow!!! Thank you for this review. I’m interested. I’ve been thinking about the Dyson but, I am a Shark girl all the way. I love my Shark vacuum. When my DIL’s Dyson broke she got a Shark because she liked mine.
I think I like the tighter curl better it looks really pretty and it's going to last longer like tomorrow maybe you won't have to curl your hair again curious to see how long they last
2 questions dear, how do they compare noise wise? From the audio it sounds less noisy on the dyson side. And how do they compare temperature/hair damage wise? Does one seem more harmful/ warm to your hair?
After months of my Dyson auto shutting off-I had my husband take it apart and blow it out with his shop tools! Now it doesn’t auto shut off. It tends to suck a lot of lint out of the air..
It's under warranty for 2 years. You can contact Dyson and tell them it's not working, and you can either drop it off at a Dyson store or you can send it into Dyson for repairs😁 I would definitely contact them if it's still under warranty❤️❤️
I have weft extensions. They are supposed to last 9-12 mths. My last set I was able to make them last 17 months. Just replaced them 2 weeks ago. Awesome hair, and if you take care of them and use good shampoo and conditioner, they'll last for well over a year😁 Here is the link www.jzstyles.com/jtied-wefts And I have 2 bags of Bentley on bottom and 2 bags of Trini on top. 2 rows, and each row is layered ❤️❤️
The vent cover does come off for cleaning, you just pull straight down on it. There's a notch where the buttons are, so it doesn't go all the way around.
Thank you so much❤️ I searched on both pamphlets and it doesn't tell you how to take off the filter, other than to clean it with a toothbrush. I'm so happy to hear it comes off. Thanks for letting us know🎉🎉
@@TaraLynnbeauty you're welcome! I only knew because I watched another review earlier😄I hate when instructions are vague, there's so much info to take in with a device like this!
Thanks you so much, I’m so glad it was helpful ❤️ the necklace I picked up from Vici Collection. Not sure if they still have it, but they have really nice jewelry 😁 Thank you so much for watching, really appreciate it ❤️❤️
Thank you so much for watching ❤️❤️ The top and the necklace are both from Vici Collection😁 They have the cutest stuff. If you head over to their website, be sure and look for their current 20% off coupon. They update new codes every Sunday❤️❤️
Terra you can pull the filter off I watched Malibu’s video on the shark and she showed how you pull the filter straight down to clean it and put it straight back just because I love and Adore you I thought I would share. You twist and pull it down and you put it straight back you can take it off to clean it
I already have the air wrap so I’m not getting this, but I think the controls would be easier to reach if you had the dryer bent went you were using the curling rods. That’s what Malibu did. Your hair is so gorgeous no matter what, Tara!
I already own the Airwrap so no need for the shark but I wish the dyson had larger brush head so I bought the new t3 air brush duo and I’m testing it out.
I just bought the Dyson. I also bought the third size curler which is even smaller. I have shoulder length hair and it's perfect. I think the Shark is going to work for most people. What you can't test for in this video, or in general as it's so new, is...will the Dyson last as long? People always tease me for buying Apple products but my father in law has apple products from the 90s that are still working. Nuff said.
That's very true. Dyson also has the patent technology for damage on the hair, which is a plus. The shark is WAY hotter than the Dyson, which I suspect is the reason the cool shot doesn't work. Just a thought. This Shark is great, especially for the price. But, I'll continue to love and enjoy my Dyson😁💕 Thanks for watching❤️❤️
I just ordered my shark from Best Buy I can’t wait to use it. That being said if I had the Dyson I would definitely only use that as well because it’s an investment and you should get your use out of it.
Thank you so much for this review Tara! I love your comparisons, I find myself searching your reviews before I make a purchase because you give me all the details I need, so thank you!! ❤️ Just wanted to ask, which one do you think gives more volume? (And I realize longevity is a factor here). Or do you think they're about the same for volume? Also wanted to say your hair is stunning, it always looks so good in your videos!
Thank you so much for this review. I would love to see you and Tania B Wells review the other Shark blowdryer. Colab maybe? 😬 Tania has curly hair and I’m sure a lot of us would like to see how that works for a blowout.
I am loving my Dyson airwrap but I wish it had a diffuser attachment 🙁 Great review!! In the video it kinda looked like the shark grabbed the hair better, did it feel that way when you were using it?
Gosh! Didn't realize how long your hair is! So thick and pretty! I just got and LOVE the limited edition Dyson and I love it!! Maybe the Shark is hotter which isn't better IMHO.
I had the Dyson hair dryer for 4 years when it literally died in the middle of drying. I used it once a week. Their customer service is HORRIBLE. They basically told me I was S O L. I will never buy another over priced Dyson product. I have the shark now and I love it.
I reviewed the other Shark dryer that is a Dyson competitor on my channel, and I also found the cool shot to be ineffective. It's cooler, but not the amount of cool I was looking for. I was sad when I saw this one released after I had just purchased mine, but after watching, I think the hyperair does enough for my desired curls. I'm still happy. Thanks for reviewing!
im so excited to get the shark version,. I bought the dyson version but it didnt work great on my naturally curly hair so I returned it. I think the shark is going to work better on curly hair because of the brush bristles. im so excited
Thank you for taking all this time for such a good in depth comparison dear Tara!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩I have an older Dyson Airwrap, since covid lockdowns, hairdressers closed, i wanted the very best for my hair than, so that must have been 2020. But it was almost 500 euro back than, i remember. But i love it each and every day. I have a light weight bag to take it with me, we went to Rome from 4th October until 11th October, i really only want my Dyson, only if it's just for drying my hair, because it does not give extra damage. Well, i also love my Shu Uemura and Olaplex hair products, but i love my Dyson! The Shark, i only see a more simple product from them here in The Netherlands, a hair dryer only. But i love my Dyson, and thanks for this whole comparison and explanation so much!!!!😘😘😘😘
I just discovered your channel via this video - great content. I also love your gold necklace in this video that has the cross bar details all around the chain. Where is it from?? I love that it’s not a basic necklace. Thank you!
Thank you so much for watching, i appreciate it so so much❤️🙏 The necklace I bought from Vici Collection. Not sure if they still have it, but definitely worth checking😁 Thanks again, hope you have a great weekend 🌸🌸

@@MissGDC To Be Honest, I am at work and did not get to see the video yet. Once I see it, I’ll decide. However, with online reviews and be able to custom make it, plus the over 50% price difference, the Shark is looking better.
It is a little louder; that doesn't really bother me. But, the heat element can be an issue. It is much hotter than the Dyson, that's why i think you don't notice the difference when using the cold shot. You can hold it down for 2 minutes and it doesn't change temp much. Dyson has the technology that they say doesn't cause damage to the hair, not sure about Shark. But, the fact that it's even hotter than the Dyson is definitely something to consider when deciding which unit to buy😁❤️ Hope that helps🙏
Also, if you sign up for the Shark site, you get 10% off. That saved me $25 off the $250 build-your-own bundle whose arrival I'm waiting for. Not bad for $225 since I couldn't justify the price of the Dyson.
I have been watching many reviews about the shark. And it seems like you might have one that is defective. All the reviews I've seen no one has complained about the Cold shot.
I had someone in my comments day. she reviewed it, and she didn't feel a difference with the cool shot. But, we could have a defective machine, hard to say. I used it again yesterday, and the Shark is hotter than the Dyson, so I suspect it may have a harder time cooling quickly. That cool shot does NOT feel different on mine. I used it for the entire time I turned it on, and it was smoking hot. It's definitely something to look into regarding being defective. 😁
I definitely want the Shark for the price aspect, but I do have VERY long hair so the Dyson is more appealing to me since they have longer barrels. I have long hair like to my butt long lol. Anyone with long hair have the shark and let me know how they like it!
Great review and comparison! I have been in the market for the Dyson for quite some time. I nearly bought it early last spring but the day I had it in my cart I read about the new release and decided to wait. Since that time I’ve chopped my hair to shoulder length. I still curl my hair every few days. With all of this terribly long into I’m wondering if I would like either? Shorter hair people-do you use the Dyson? The buttons on the bottom looks like a pretty big inconvenience.
The round brush would be awesome for your shorter hair. I have seen people use the airwrap with shorter hair, and it gives them volume. But I think you'd get more use out of the round brush attachment than the airwrap 😁❤️

I have both, Dyson dries my hair faster, feels smoother too.
After you finished styling your hair the Stark side looked so much better than the Dyson side that it made me decide to get the new Shark model.
same here
Same
You're blessed with that natural curl ❤️❤️ My hubby has natural curly hair, and he's growing it out. His curls are amazing, with little to no effort😆
Looks like the Shark side actually has more volume to me
It dos but after long term of using it damage your hair
Hi Tara. Thank you for the review! I have the Dyson and my curls do not hold very long. After seeing the final check in, I have to say I like how the Shark side looks better & now I’m curious of how it would hold my curls.
My shark came with a case. I have both and still cannot decide which one I love more. Honestly, they both have pros and cons.
Thanks Tara. The buttons at the bottom will be annoying but only depending on how someone holds it. Someone just said the filter comes off & I hope they're right b/c that would be a problem. Seems to do a good job, your hair looks great!
Watch Milabu’s review . It comes off.
is the dyson lowest temperature setting cooler than the shark lowest temperature setting? seems like the shark gets hotter in general which makes the cool shot harder to jump from really hot to somewhat cool quickly.
Hi Tara! Just an FYI the bottom filter panel does come off, you just have to pull harder.
The filter does come off for cleaning on the shark. They posted a video on the shark beauty UA-cam page to show how to do it.
I have been thinking of purchasing the new dyson at the Sephora sale since I'm rouge. It's just sooo expensive. I might wait and see if shark has a % off sale in the near future.
Your honesty (and personality) are SO appreciated.
It’s very obvious how shark is stronger turning hair around ! I had so much troubles with Dyson when I tried to do curls
Kept on about the cool shot not being effective....but the shark side lasted the longest...MAYBE IT DOESNT NEED TO BE SO COOL
The cool shot in my Shark works perfectly 🤔
I think I like the tighter curl better it looks really pretty and it's going to last longer like tomorrow maybe you won't have to curl your hair again curious to see how long they last
You have beautiful hair. Thank you for the review. I confused before what to buy between Dyson and Shark.
I think I like the Shark side better!😳
Really appreciate the review! I’ve watched a ton of reviews already on this thing and yours is so thorough! Loved it! ❤
2 questions dear, how do they compare noise wise? From the audio it sounds less noisy on the dyson side. And how do they compare temperature/hair damage wise? Does one seem more harmful/ warm to your hair?
Have you done a makeup tutorial on this look? Love it, you’re stunning!
Awww, thank you so much🩷🩷🩷 I didn't film this makeup look, I'm so sorry💔 I appreciate your kind compliment, thank you so much for watching🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷
My Dyson shut off too. I couldn’t turn it back on. I am going to ask my husband to take it apart and blow it out too and see if it will work again😂
Great video. What kind of extensions did you say you have? They look great!
I have weft extensions. They are supposed to last 9-12 mths. My last set I was able to make them last 17 months. Just replaced them 2 weeks ago. Awesome hair, and if you take care of them and use good shampoo and conditioner, they'll last for well over a year😁 Here is the link
www.jzstyles.com/jtied-wefts
And I have 2 bags of Bentley on bottom and 2 bags of Trini on top.
Awesome review! Also, what is this lip color?
This video was very helpful! Also, i NEED to know where you got that necklace!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks you so much, I’m so glad it was helpful ❤️ the necklace I picked up from Vici Collection. Not sure if they still have it, but they have really nice jewelry 😁 Thank you so much for watching, really appreciate it ❤️❤️
Extremely helpful review. Random question, where is your top necklace with the individual bars from? LOVE IT!
That may definitely help, thanks for that tip😁❤️
Thank you, dear, for this valuable information. Please, can you tell me the name of the spray that you used
This was a great video. I would love dupe videos for hair products you use. Happy New Year
Thank you so much for the video. I really like to try shark. Where can I buy it?
Your hair is gorgeous!! Thanks for the review.
I much prefer the Shark side!
Thank you for doing this video, I've been wanting to see the differences in these!
I already own the Airwrap so no need for the shark but I wish the dyson had larger brush head so I bought the new t3 air brush duo and I’m testing it out.
I may have naturally curly hair but i still want this!! Thank you for the review!
@@TaraLynnbeauty Then def the dyson. I'm trying to keep my hair from becoming damaged so...Personally. I think sometimes you get what you pay for.
Such a great review as usual!! Thank you, Tara! 🥰 Lisa
Thank you so much, Lisa🩷🩷🩷
I just ordered my shark from Best Buy I can’t wait to use it. That being said if I had the Dyson I would definitely only use that as well because it’s an investment and you should get your use out of it.
Thank you so much for this review Tara! I love your comparisons, I find myself searching your reviews before I make a purchase because you give me all the details I need, so thank you!! ❤️
Just wanted to ask, which one do you think gives more volume? (And I realize longevity is a factor here). Or do you think they're about the same for volume?
Also wanted to say your hair is stunning, it always looks so good in your videos!
Thank you so much for this review. I would love to see you and Tania B Wells review the other Shark blowdryer. Colab maybe? 😬
Tania has curly hair and I’m sure a lot of us would like to see how that works for a blowout.
I am loving my Dyson airwrap but I wish it had a diffuser attachment 🙁 Great review!!
In the video it kinda looked like the shark grabbed the hair better, did it feel that way when you were using it?
OMG, dear Tara, where is that kind of spikey necklace from? its amazing!!! (appreciated the video itself as well, thank you!!)
Great review Tara! Thanks for the comparison!
Shark has 2 size air wraps. I absolutely love my Shark Flexstyle. I returned my Dyson
Gosh! Didn't realize how long your hair is! So thick and pretty! I just got and LOVE the limited edition Dyson and I love it!! Maybe the Shark is hotter which isn't better IMHO.
Tara your reviews are always great to watch ansso informative and your hair looks so great
I had the Dyson hair dryer for 4 years when it literally died in the middle of drying.
Thanks for sharing your experience. I love hearing others experience ❤️🦋
I love the Dyson Airwrap Complete Styler. But, I like the new one, the special edition multistyler complete set coz they come in different colors.
Thanks for the comparison, Tara! We appreciate it a lot!
im so excited to get the shark version,.
But i love my Dyson, and thanks for this whole comparison and explanation so much!!!!😘😘😘😘
hairstylist here, Shark side appears better to me. Beautiful hair!
They both look nice and I’m still wanting the Dyson and Does the shark attachments go on the Dyson attachment? 😊
OMG! I prefer the shark side. Dang, now I need it too😰
Yr reviews r so comprehensive! Tysm
Awesome review! I so appreciate the time and effort you put into these types of videos. I am also so happy to see your chanel growing. All those comparisons you do is a lot of work and so very helpful! Blessings to you 😎🎶❤️🇨🇦
I’m so happy you did this video. I’ve been debating on a Dyson for soooo long, and last week my friend mentioned the Shark.
Which one are you getting?
@@MissGDC To Be Honest, I am at work and did not get to see the video yet. Once I see it, I’ll decide. However, with online reviews and be able to custom make it, plus the over 50% price difference, the Shark is looking better.
great detailed comparison, but i noticed many reviewers say the shark is noisier, and much hotter, just wondering if these issues bothered you.
LOOVVVEE the Shark side better than the Dyson!!
Shark has added another barrel size and a case that you can bundle with your purchase.
Shark side for the win! For me I wish it came with a smaller round brush.
I like the shark side better I’m thinking of selling my dyson to get one. The dyson just doesn’t hold curl for me
Came for the Shark review, left with a product rec for a grey root spray! Thank you!
Also, if you sign up for the Shark site, you get 10% off. That saved me $25 off the $250 build-your-own bundle whose arrival I'm waiting for. Not bad for $225 since I couldn't justify the price of the Dyson.
Great review like always Tara, it was really helpful thank you ❤️💕
I have been watching many reviews about the shark.
At least is and alternative for the people who can’t afford the Dyson. I have a Dyson and I haven’t use it. Still thinking about.
Your hair looks beautiful. Both sides.
Tara, you have the most gorgeous hair! You have my dream hair!!❤️🥰💕
