Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is one of if not my favourite spidey movie! I love the artstyle, sound design, acting, characters, story, creativity- ABSOLUTELY everything this film has to offer! I'm glad that this film got the positive reception that it so desperately deserves!

this was very reminiscent of another spiderman fan here on youtube and I feel the same way about this video as I feel towards his when I discovered him,
YOU NEED MORE EXPOSURE. God this was such a great video, keep them coming. I was refering to HiTop films when he was around the same popularity as you were and he blew up and I hope you do too. The both of you take what I feel about spiderman and say it so perfectly and I have no idea how but it always strikes a certain feeling and its incredible how some guy in red and blue spandex can make us all feel so connected despite never meeting face to face. Another thing I love about this movie is the fact is that it is animated I got into comics because of the animated tv shows both marvel and dc and nowadays there are barely any or they are very lackluster especially the current Spider-Man shows. So I’m very happy out of all the live action movies we finally got a great animated one.

Your channel is going to blow up. The moment I saw your older videos several years (the stop animation) ago I could tell that you had this spark/fire about you in film creation. You remind me a bit of James Rolfe (Angry Video Game Nerd) who also has an enduring passion in film creation. I rarely subscribe to other channels but I’m glad I subscribed to yours all those years ago. Keep up the great work. I hope the sequel in 2022 lives up to the original. The hard part about making sequels is that you can’t repeat the same themes. It will be very difficult for the film makers to manufacture new themes that are equally as important and inspiring as the originals. With good writing it can be possible, of course.

Production Journal Wow. Thanks for the kind words. That means a lot to me. I may not be as active on UA-cam as priorities often change, but I still love the art of film and film creation. I remember riding my bike as a teen to the MOA (our biggest mall here in the States) every week or so to see a movie or film. Sadly as movies and films have deteriorated over the years (because of political baggage or upper management interference) the magic of seeing a new film in a theater has waned significantly. Spider Verse and some other recent films have conveyed some hope that mainstream film can still be considered art. Your infectious passion that oozes through in your videos is inspiring, it’s encouraging to remember that film is still a fantastic medium of human expression, even though that fact has all but disappeared in my perspective because of the over-whelming amount of themes and or stories I just don’t find interesting. It’s nice to see someone so young embrace the idealistic spirit of what film is supposed be and remind us and inspire us of that fact when our culture(s) has/have become increasingly cynical, narcissistic, and, in the case of most high budget films, formulaic. I absolutely love that your perspective is positive. You see the good among the bad, even in films that are despised. (I still despise TLJ despite the risks Rian Johnson took... perhaps because his petty attitude towards his critics...) It’s easier and more entertaining to build a following by “criticizing” films (as so many channels do), but it’s really refreshing to see a channel rise above that. Anyway, I just wanted to convey my appreciation one last time. I can’t wait for more.

Please can we have baby Mayday or Annie in the sequel? It would be a great follow up to Peter B’s arc, and a potential avenue for a Renew Your Vows style spinoff.
Hopefully, the sequel will be just as great!
