About Sarah Saputri:
Sarah is an Indonesian singer, song writer and harmonica player endorser of SEYDEL. On this video Sarah plays 1847 Silver customised plates with Summer Edition.
Sarah became known by playing lot of the original soundtrack for Indonesian Movies.
Sarah loves to use her harmonicas for various genres like blues, country, Sundanese and popular music in Indonesia. At the end of 2019, Sarah released her first solo album titled “Pengikut Hati” on which you can hear an instrumental song for harmonica. Sarah's vision is to introduce the harmonica to her audience, especially in her homecountry Indonesia. Her mission is to play popular songs on harmonica in Indonesia.

@@ChromaticHarp it’s crazy being able to wail vibrato on the upper octave. Really helps cut through the band when playing live.

I WAS PLAYING FREBIRD TODAY AND A BAND SAT IN TGE CAR NEXT TO ME AND FLIPPED OUT AT TGE BEACH. They followed me home set up all my gear and amps and harps because it’s hard to focus. We got to play freebird along side the guitarist. Wow I’m DIGGING this video. I busked to six of your songs today and blew out a diatonic going it. This is going to fun. These collaborations are cool. It’s nice to hear how two players approach the same tune. In this case you guys lay down a similar track, yet the fun part for me is picking out the nuances and subtleties btwn players. Good stuff. One question Will Wilde. Generally speaking, what key Harp do you use most for rock tunes? I’d guess an A harp in 2nd pos, but what do I know. Asking before ordering a Wilde tuned harp. Limited budget right now d/t the Pandemic.. Peace
Thanks! That's a difficult question to answer, there is no one key that is besf for rock, or any genre. The key is usually determined by what sits best for the vocalist for a given melody. That being said, I use the A, D and G most with my band.

Hey..sounds great..Do you ever incorporate switching positions in mid song or lead? I was watching Norton Buffalo's famous lead on My Lil runaway and im curious why there isn't more of that out there. And thanks again for your fabulous vids.

@@willharmonicawilde cool.that's interesting to know...ive been playing with jam bands in ny and most of the songs go for 7 minutes or more. I found that switching positions (typically starting with the lower register gave me nice variations and kept me engaged . I even devised a technique where I can hold a 2nd harp between the 2nd and 3rd fingers on my cupped hand and makes fo easy harp switching through out. I'm sure it's been done before but Ive never seen it. I call it "The gatlin". BTW your free bird note for note was mind bending!
Cool. Glad ypu liked the Freebird vid. Check out my version of Parisienne Walkways (switching between 2nd pos on a minor tuned harp and 4th pos on a standard harp) and my video "Power Funk Harmonica" where I switch between 3rd pos on a standard harp and 2nd pos on a Wilde Tuned harp.

Amazing! Please, tell me... Does the magnetism affects the reeds of Seydel Session Steel?
The oscillation of the steel reeds can be manipulated by magnets. Seydel brought out a model last year called the "all minor" which had sliding magnets built in to the cover plates to down tune the reeds.
