I love these peeps thanks so much 4 sharing , wow I knew you were a baker omg I love the cookie cutters I love your DIY’s I can’t say it enough so talented and amazing I show my granddaughter who is 7 yrs Almost all your videos she loves your faux food 💕
So excited. Just ordered the sand, gel food coloring, 4" cookie cutter. Can't wait to do this. I also ordered the Styrofoam heat cutting set for other projects. Thankyou so much for more inspiration.
While watching this again I just colored my sand. So cool. I could make bags of them all day. lol So exciting to see the the gel coloring blend into the white sand. Thankyou for sharing.
Thanks for your attention to the details, like the eyes and the colors. I paid way too much $$$ for a two pack of that mold. I bid against 14 people on EBay! I’m keeping one for chocolate and one for crafts. I was trying clay to make the peeps and it didn’t work. I have plaster so I’m going to make some. FYI both Michaels and Hobby Lobby had bunny cutters very close to the actual bunny shape. Thanks for your videos.
Thank you! The cutters are easier to come by than the mold. Walmart had a cutter that came very close for $1.00. The Peep mold is rare. Plaster is best for it.
Friend, Thank you so much for sharing!! I've been making Dough Ornaments for over 20 years and still make them for every season. I would have never thought of using sand instead of glitter. I have those same cookie cutters and made some Easter ornaments for my seasonal tree several weeks ago. I too was thinking of making a video on how I make my dough ornaments and you are right it is a process. In my case it would have to be a two part video. Once again, thanks for sharing and I just love your personality and enjoy watching your videos, you are very gifted. Have a great day, stay safe and God Bless You!!
ADORABLE!!! Could you not use the white sand on the cookies, or would it cover up the cookies and hide the color? Also, what kind of bags do you have your apples and cotton candy wrapped in. Thanks so much Cindy!
Hi! Thank you! I never tried plain white sand. I wanted them to look authentic that is why I used colored sand. The clear baggies come from Dollar Tree in the party supply section. Thanks for watching! 😊
I was using white sand and other sands to decorate my faux stuff. It gives things a sugary effect. I have, also, used an irridescent white glitter that works well for faux sugar. ^^*
Hi! What type of clay did you use for the chick peeps in the mold? They’re absolutely adorable and I own that mold! Would love to make some for my kids. 🩷
I found your channel after watching Joann Barrandey and I think your creations are beautiful your so talented I have been trying to make ornaments I wanted them to look like real sugar cookies I’ve been using acrylic paint and slick paint but I really think I’m gonna try your caulk and paint I think the peeps eyes look just like royal icing have you tried this method on cookies? ❤️
For the paint or the Mod Podge? I used a Dollar Tree brush for the paint. I use one brush over and over when using Mod Podge. It's dedicated for use only with Mod Podge because it will ruin your brushes.
Brilliant Cindy !!!!❤❤ love these peeps. You're awesome ❤❤❤❤ # replay

Thanks for sharing how are you go about making those fake sugar cookies oh my gosh you did an awesome job on them. They look so real
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching. 😊
Could you possibly do some Valentine fake bakes? ❤️
Coming soon. 😉
So cute! Do you have any suggestions for powdered sugar?
Thank you! 😊 Some ppl use baby powder. I haven’t tried it yet.
Durability wise do you suggest salt dough or plaster for fake bake crafts if you were going to sell them? Thanks love your videos!
Hi! You’re welcome. Salt dough as POP can chip or crack easily and does not ship well. 😉

Would like a tutorial on the fake layered cake 🎂🍰🥮 in the background there please 😁
Yup! Working my way through my list of tutorials but I will make one. :) Thanks for watching.

Hi! What type of clay did you use for the chick peeps in the mold? They’re absolutely adorable and I own that mold! Would love to make some for my kids. 🩷
Hi! That video is 3 years old. I used Model Magic but now I use air dry foam clay. 😉
Thanks!

Hi! I love me some JoAnn! I have not tried caulk & paint to cover salt dough cookies. Thank you! 😊
@@peepthisyall I’m gonna try it and let you know lol and thanks for replying ❤️
Is there a way of making a fake, loose frosting for cookies that will look like real frosting?
Not sure. I use sparkle as icing on my cookies like in my St. Patrick’s & Valentine cookie tutorials. 😉
Loved the video.
Thanks for sharing your sugar tip!
Love your videos
Are you on Facebook?
Thank you so much! Yes, I am on FB and IG under the same name. :)
What kind of brush do you use , my brush got matted
