James Bond novels are still being commissioned, usually from established authors such as Anthony Horowitz who write their stories in imitation of Fleming's style. This BBC Book at Bedtime reading (abridged, of course) is of William Boyd's contribution to the saga - Solo. It's read by Paterson Joseph, a very versatile actor who has played one or two hard-eyed, ruthless heroes in his time, perhaps most famously the devious Marquis de Carabas in the television series of Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere...
