great to have you back buddy! You look very well and healthy, so am glad you are allright. Had me wondering about you for quite some time. Nice video, lovely canoing. Hope you will continue to make videos and return here very soon. Take care bro!
Thanks. It's been a busy/funny year really but I'm glad to finally be getting around to making more vids and getting out again. Hoping to go camping in the next few days and film.
Only thing I can suggest is the numbers on the canoe mean the order to pump it up I had this for 4 years we took it out to sea numerous times along the coast. As for the seat issue try and slacken it off. Also looks like it might not of been inflated enough we got the foot pump with it and it doesn’t actually take that long and worked brilliantly. That’s just my opinion on it :) hope it works out for you on your 2 person trip
I have bought this, really just for something different to do with friends. Having problems getting air to stay in the bottom tube, unsure if its my technique not fast enough getting stopper in or if there is some sort of trick im missing out on. I did notice when I pumped up as much as I was able to the leaning to one side which you also mentioned with my one
Good to see you back on here. Perhaps you can solve the seat issue by running a rope from the backrest and tie it off to one of those eyelets at the front instead. Might just pull the front up when you lean back but could be worth a try
Great video, we were given this canoe for free, instructions are the most clearest. Where did you get the compressor and would it inflate a paddleboard? ( I’ve recently purchased one)
Awrite my friend. Welcome back. I think that pillow thing might be to balance you out? Like you said you were leaning to one side. Maybe it counters that?
You need to make a skeg to make it go straight, I made one for my Sevylor Tahiti and it made a huge difference. Its basically just like a rudder that doesn't turn. If you google "Sevylor skeg" you'll see the rough shape you want, but you'll need to adjust for your canoe. Cut it out of half inch ply, paint or varnish it and wrap the bit that goes between the tubes with duct tape and you're done. It made mine go straight as an arrow, and would make a great DIY video for your channel. You could also try making a wooden floor board which would stiffen it up, but has the potential to create its own issues, and probably isn't worth the effort on a cheap inflatable. Also the tubes have inflation gauges, they're the little tape things with an upper and lower arrow to show how inflated it should be at different temperatures, you show them on the video at 5.20 ish.
Yes I've seen the skegs on other canoes. I actually have one spare on a canoe my friend lent me but that has a valve missing so I was unable to use it. I'll see if I can connect that to mine.
On the inside? I thought it might but when I tried I couldn't get it to fit in well, though maybe I over inflated it or just didn't try enough. Thanks I'll try it again next time.
It's absolutely junk in my view sadly. I have exactly the same kayak (rebranded) I bought from Aldi about 3 years ago. It cost £40 which is £39 more than it is worth. The extra inflatable pillow is a footrest for the front paddler according the instructions I got from Aldi.
Nice to see you back mate 👍
Thanks, was fun getting back out filming.
Welcome back. Missed your posts, you're a natural
Damn that was a long 7 months good to see you back 💯🍻

Nice to see you back.
Happy to see you back mate
Just wondering where this river is as would love good here thanks
It was along the Ouse in Noroflk
Another brilliant video mate
Hey, great to see you back! 👍
The Cushion is for when you're at the side of a bank of the river to prevent to Kayak hitting the bank or wooden jetty. I have one now.
Could the pillow be for behind the seat?
I love your boating/river videos ...Thank you .
Good to see you back out.
Cheers, I'll hopefully be camping in the next few days too to upload.
@@rodster6campingprepper I will keep my eyes open for it 😁
Welcome Back !!!
Great to see you back! Looks like a bargain for £70. I’ve seen inflatable canoes/kayaks in decathlon but most are over £250

@@rodster6campingprepper looking forward to it. I saw you have tripled your armmuscles ;-) You can play the Incredible Hulk now! hehehe
Nice video and review!

Beautiful swan
Hey Bruv! Where have you been!? Miss your content!

Had a sevylor Tahiti, loved it.
Yeeees
I have a few Andes products there cheep but seem to work well!
I think that triangular pillow stuffs into the front of the kayak .
Maybe the inflatable cushion is like when bigger boats have tyres hanging off the side to stop them bumping into things when docking.
That sounds like the most likely use for it.
I think the word you are looking for is 'fenders'. My father was a boat builder and I couldn't help myself. Cheers and good to see you out by the way.
Awrite my friend. Welcome back. I think that pillow thing might be to balance you out? Like you said you were leaning to one side. Maybe it counters that?
Maybe I'll re-attach it next time I go out and see if it makes a difference.
It's a swimming arm band. Probably included in place of a life jacket...?
@@drsquirrel00 I initially thought that but it wouldn't fit over my arm and it seemed odd it was tied to the outside of the canoe.
@@rodster6campingprepper I don't mean supplied for you, but supplied because of "rules" or something stupid like that.

Andes make a lot of good kit at very good prices
Hi mate, the pillow goes up in the front to keep the nose out of the water. 👍🏻
