100% agree with the right balances set up any fish will give a good fight and make it more enjoyable. The lighter the better is what I prefer at the moment.
That's one thing missing from my fishing arsenal; a nice conti and fixed spool set up for sessions on the sand.

That was a great watch Lloyd very inspirational,will give it a go on our beaches at low, many thanks, just to say managed to fish monknash twice since your video on the place, its a 4 hour drive from Lincoln but well worth it, had two pb's small eye on the first trip and hound on the second, many thanks again,

Great video. Cefn sidan is a lot like my favourite beach to fish which is Pendine.
Pendine is an amazing place to fish. Will hopefully do a video on pendine later in the year.

Great video as a novice fisher I use a two hook flatty rig should I be reeling in with the rod tip low rather than high

Hi Ian, rod is a vercelli spyra amarela, reel is a shimano Ultegra 5500 and line is a tapered line asso 8lb to 50lb. Thanks for watching

@@BanditFishingUK thanks for the reply mate... goes to show the fish dont necessarily have to be in deep water. i often get put off beach shore fishing cause i think there will be no fish around. i guess more factors need to be bang on to be successful. tide, wind weather and location. tight lines and keep up the good work enjoy the odd video :)
Have you boys given up on the channel
Hi Mark, no not given up just finding time is very difficult. The Chanel started during covid and we had lots of time to get and fish. Unfortunately as we’ve got back to normal and young children getting older. It’s time to enjoy time with them. We’ve got 2 sessions filmed and hope they can be edited and published over the coming weeks. Thanks for asking about us. We’re still here and still want to create content. Thanks for asking after us.

Audio only plays out of the right channel, (headphone) seems to happen with seperate voice recordings on some of these videos.
