Hi there! My name is Beatriz Penas and I'm a portuguese illustrator, nice to meet you! I've been taking my illustration more seriously and making a business out of it since the beggining of 2019. Hey !! I've been watching your older vlogs and I have been loving them but in the last vlog you said that you will unbox some parcels ( there were 3 in whhich one of the three had a customize box )you got and I think it was from small business owners but I'm not sure but I do think bc you love supporting them.And you didn't do it in this vlog or your vlog after the notepad video . I know it has been a year but if you do remember those small business owners whom you bought from ( if they were from small business owners ) I would love it if you could tell me from whom you bought products from.

@@aPenasIllustrator oh I know you do have some how to videos - just saying how hard you work on these and they could totally be listed as more than one video - they have those videos where there’s no talking just text as you watch someone making something. Sorry I have too many ideas for you - I have 3 kids so I do no social media for my online shop - just sell through Amazon. I really can’t imagine what it’s like putting yourself out there every week with these videos 😳👏👏👏👏

Hiya - not sure if you figured out your ink cartridge issue, but i know with my canon pixma pro i can refill the inks and use a 'chip resetter'. saves having to throw out the plastic and its more affordable to get the ink in bottes. if you google there might be an option for your printer :)

I used to use that same canon with the off-brand inks but then it died on me twice! Anyhow, I changed to canon g3000 series. Where there’s a whole tank instead of those tiny plastic things you have to throw away. Saves me so much $$ - I also decided to use only canon brands and hopefully I’ve avoided my printer premature death 😅😅
Canon’s are the best! I got an ecotank before my canon and had to return it, could play with settings or anything! Maybe I’ve been lucky for the past 2 years eheh. I’ll check out that canon, it’s always good to have an option if something happens
Wooow! I didn't know that someone could get ink for so cheap! I use an Epson eco tank and every bottle costs 11 € and I am blown away by that, so for 2€ it's like unreal😱 hahaha and the Keychains that you got are so cute and pretty😍
It’s crazy! With ecotanks ink is cheaper, that’s why the printers are so expensive, but they last a long time! With cartridges they go from 15-20€ each and they don’t last long 🥲 That would be impossible to keep up lol

Loved the video and love receiving the fab sticker subscription item 🎉 the packaging was gorgeous. Thanks for sharing your ink supplier. I’m sooooo sad they don’t deliver to Ireland 😢 I understand why though. It’s so annoying in Ireland, the cheapest generic ink I can get for my canon is €8 for the 551xl, it’s about a 1/4 of the price with your supplier. I should move country lol xx

@@aPenasIllustrator it's mad expensive isn't it. When I get my new office space next year I'm going to get an A3 Eco tank that prints on card. I have an normal A3 canon, and am A4 Epson Eco. I do a lot of business card based work (alongside my own originals) so it would be a massive saving in the long run to be able to use eco tank inks on the business supplies I sell x

You have so many cute products, I love watching you make them, it is very inspiring. I was wondering, for your shrink plastic products, have you tried doing a print and cut with your cutting machine? I tried with my Cricut a while back and it worked quite well. it might save you some time.
Hi Wendy!! Thank you so much! I did, it would help a lot, but it didn’t worked. I even got a blade that cuts a little deep but didn’t worked as well. I have the oldest silhouette and it’s manual so I’m not sure if it was because of that or not 😢

@@aPenasIllustrator I always thought it was very rude and unprofessional when you gripped how she wasn't packing orders right in a video!. She was working for free after all. I sure hope her internship included some actual illustration experience and wasn't just order packing and sock making.
@@patriciasmith318 she needed the internship to finish the degree, she could be working with another company if she wanted. She was free to use the materials I had in the studio to make her products, she created a full stationery collection with me, she even did some illustration work for me and yes, I paid her. I even gave her a couple of months on wix for free so she could start her own website. Please don’t talk about what you don’t know. I don’t have to share it all and show what I gave her just because. People can be good off camera and not having to show it, you know? :)
