So cute! I've had a Cinch machine for over a year and I'm finally going to try it out. Question: do you use a laser printer for the cover? Also, could you just have the Cricut cut the tags with rounded corners and the hole? Would save you some work.😊 Love your videos!
@spiritedblossomart Hi there! 💚 I print the cover with my inkjet, and then I print with the laser printer where I want to foil laminate. About the tags, I did change later, and now I get it all done with cricut. It really saves a lot of time 😂 Thank you so much for being here! 💚
Thank you so much, I'm really happy you enjoyed the video! ♥ Oh that's so nice! I really want to try stitched notebooks after seeing how beautifully people work with the materials, but I noticed it requires certain mastery that I don't have yet. As a newbie to notebook making, I found that spiral notebooks were easier and a good start, and I love making it. ♥
@@caroljystudios Hiya...stitched are not that hard actually. You already have the most important tool ( the large guillotine ) , after that , it's not complicated. I sometimes stitch mine on a sewing machine, sometimes punch holes and use thread. Even staples at times. On a machine, I only use 15 sheets of 80gsm paper...any more and the machine throws a tantrum. I also support another notebook creator ( we're in Australia). They both stitch and staple theirs. Also, they glue fabric to their cover cardstock, to give them a unique feel. Happy experimenting.
@caroljystudios Just found a video that might be helpful. It's very old, but I found it the most useful. Sea Lemon...12 yrs ago...DIY saddle stitch bookbinding. :)
It's so cool that you make these yourself - they look amazing! Well done. Very relaxing video. 💖 (Ps your cat is beautiful!)
@shinyb4ts Thank you so much! 💚 It makes my day!
And that fluffy is Jasmine, my little inspiration ✨️

What laminate sheets do you use? Such a beautiful finish 😍
Thank you! 🥰I use thermal laminating film roll 1.2 mil for the cover protection. I got it from amazon ☺
I really enjoyed your video. I make the usual ' stitched' A5 notebooks, but I am gravitating more to the spiral version. Well done.
